In the beginning days of Eden the gods created all life including the human race. Later on some of gods chose to give humans a gift called Chi. This caused mutations in humans giving them incredible powers and abilities. They were used to create we things in their world and, unfortunately, to destroy what they created. Some of the gods began to look down on their creation and came up with a solution. They created what came to be known as the chimera race. Powerful humanoid beings created using animals and mythical creatures that could also use chi with the purpose of using them to destroy humanity. This lead to an immediate conflict not just between humans and monsters but between the gods as well leaving very few gods alive. Eventually after centuries of war a stalemate was met splitting the world in two leaving some neutral territory's in between. Wars occasionally break out between humans and monsters due to remaining tensions.
