"Hi im wondering what Cindy Whites room number is." Minnie asked innocently

"Shes in ICU, only family can visit" The nurse with purple highlights behind the counter scoffed just before eying Shawn like a piece of candy

Minnie looked back at Shawn who shrugged and then back at the nurse annoyed.

"Im her cousin, that counts"

The nurse whos name badge read "Ursala" looked up at Minnie with a sigh and a roll of her eyes. She looked back at a nurse with brown beautiful hair and sighed.

"Bella could you please escort these two to room 284 please"

Bella looked back and flashed a white smile.

"Of course! Come on!" she said cheerfully

Minnie and Shawn followed qa cheerful Nurse Bella.

"Excuse Ursula, shes just really rude. I wish she would cheer up for once" Bella said as she led the two through the halls

Minnie scoffed "Evil and uncheerful like Ursula from The Little Mermaid"

Bella giggled and Shawn once again wondered how Minnie had a childhood.

"Yeah I guess you could say that. Oh well here we are!"

"Thank you Bella" Shawn said before opening the door to Cindys room.

Bella nodded and hurried off as Minnie and Shawn opened the door. A very councious Cindy White lay in her bed with tubes entering her body from all different directions. She looked over at Minnie and Shawn and cocked her head to the side.

"Who are you guys?"

Minnie looked up at Shawn who clearly didn't have an excuse to help her out with.

"Well we urm-" Minnie began before spotting a basket at her bed stand with a red bow tied on it.

It had a picture of Cindy with a class of 3rd graders. And with them was Sara on Cindys lap. Immediately Minnie found a connection.

"Well were kinda new in town and Sara told us all about you so we decided to come visit"

Cindys eyebrow raised, but before she could respond she inhaled some oxygen painfully before shakily exhaling and looking back over at the two.

"Sara Red? Wait... Are you two the ones that saved her the other day in the woods?" she questioned

Shawn and Minnie walked further into the room and ot her bedside.

"Yeah uh we did. Im Shawn, this is Minnie." Shawn introduced himself, sitting down in a chair beside Minnie

"Nice to meet you both. Thank you for all that you did for Sara. Although what really happened? She made up this huge story about being attacked by a werewolf" Cindy chuckled and Shawn and Minnie may couldn't help but glance at each other

"Ah well children have imaginations" Minnie laughed nervously "Well it was someone, tried snatching Sara up and we stopped em"

Cindy smiled and once again shakily inhaled and exhaled. Minnie made herself comftrable in her chair as she looked around the room.

"So what happened to you Cindy? Sara uh, didn't tell us" Minnie said, looking back at the worn girl

"Oh well its all kinda of a blur. One minute im doing my chores and the next my stepmother slams a vase over my head and im being hit and beaten with pots and pans and random things by my step sisters."

Shawn raised an eyebrow "Oh wow. Im so sorry that happened to you"

Cindy chukled lightly and shrugged " I mean I knew she hated me but I didn't know she hated me that much"

Minnie cocked her head to the side confused "What do you mean she "hated you"?"

Breathing in and out Cindy sighed "Ever since my father died they were always really mean to me. I was never able to go do anything fun, I always did extra chores, and was called Ugly. I never really let it get to me and then yesterday there hatred boiled and overflowed I guess."

Shawn furrowed his eyebrows "Hm..." he looked over at Minnie who looked equally in thought

She looked down at her watch and sighed

"Well Cindy im sorry to cut this trip short but we have to go. It was nice to meet you" Minnie said as she got up

Cindy nodded a bit "I would shake your hand but im afraid im in too much pain to move"

Minnie smiled a bit and Shawn said goobye before they both got up to the door but just as they were about to leave Cindy croaked

"Minnie? Could you tell the nurse to bring me a cellphone and call a police officer? I forgot to tell them something I remembered this morning"

Minnie paused "Uhm do you mind me asking what it was?"

"There was a little boy there. He had a burgundy uniform and was standing in the window. After the attack I didn't know where he went"

"Alright so how does any of this piece together with anything?" Shawn asked as they exited the hospital and made there way to the Jeep

"I don't know.. Yet. I don't know yet. But Im getting a sense of Deijavu. Are you?" she asked as she unlocked her door

"I mean I does sound kinda familiar"

"Oh my god thank the lord you're here, its hot in here and ive been dying for the A/C" Max panted as Minnie turned on the car

Minnie rolled her eyes and they headed back to the hotel. During the ride they explained everything that had happened in the hospital to him. And once again at the hotel Minnie tried looking up as to what could be going while Shawn cleaned out the weapons on his bed. As she wrote, read, and typed vigorously, she began to feel tired. The prvious night had concluded with no sleep at all. All she could think about was Sara. Before she knew what was happening her head was resting on her elbow on the table and her eyes sealed close.

Everything seemed to be moving fast around Minnie and she didn't know what was happening. Suddenly the world seemed to stop and she was in the middle of a courtyard. A girl with blonde hair and a puffy blue gown raised down the steps to a... Castle? Her shoe, well more like a glass slipper slipped off and a man with a crown raced out and picked it up. This was Cinderella! Suddenly the prince dissapered and a beast with fur walked down the steps in a tuxedo. A girl with brown hair and a yellow gown followed happily. And then Minnie was sucked out of the courtyard and flashes of odd stuff began to appear this time

Minnie suddenly jolted up from her seat. Shawn who was now watching TV directed his attention to Minnie who was breahing heavily. She looked down at her papers and saw the small list of names she had made of the people she had met so far.

-Cindy White

-Sara Red

-Bella

-Ursula

And suddenly something clicked. She jumped up with eyes widend.

"What? What is it?" Shawn asked, getting up from his seat

"Shawn.... Sara was wearing a red hoodie as she walked through the woods and was almost attacked by a wolf... Then Cindy was attacked by her Stepmother and Two stepsisters. The nurses name was Bella and the others was Ursula."

"So?"

"Don't you see?! There fairytales! Real live, modernized, fairytales! Except they have the original Brothers Grim fashioned ending. Its ugly and definatly not a happily ever after."

Shawn stood frozen before blinking several times.

"Fairy tales? Okay so even if this crazy hypothises was right, what could do that?"

Minnie sighed and ran her hand through her hair

"I don't know... A Trickster, maybe even a spirit...."

Suddenly Minnie froze and Shawn realized what she was thinking about.

"The boy Cindy saw" they said both aloud
