Where it Begins
Eleanor lived her life in a small rickety apartment, the place looked abandoned if you didn't look closely. The walls were fixed with duct tape, and boards of wood screwed into the wall. Windows were all smashed in only to be blocked off with blankets nailed where a rod would be. People of all kinds were found living in the building. Homeless, druggies, poor. If you could think it, it was there. But for Eleanor, it was all she knew. This was where her mom and aunt lived.
Her mom worked two part time jobs, while her aunt sat around the house and drank until she passed out. Eleanor would walk to school then sneak off before teachers could talk to her about home life, and why her clothes stank terribly of alcohol and smoke. She had never know her father, all she knew was she was the perfect image of him. All but her nose, she had her Mama's nose. Sometimes, she would look out her bedroom window and dream of him. His mama said he was a hero. He saved people from monsters, and he had saved her mama and aunt once. But Eleanor wasn't allowed to tell others.
Her aunt cursed her father's name, calling him a dirty whore and killer. Her mama called him an angel, saying he would protect them all. It hurt the young girl to know her mother was still in love with a man who had took off before Eleanor was born. Not that he knew. They had never been able to contact him.
Eleanor knew what he looked like, and his name. But so did everyone else in the small town. She was the laughing stock of kids, and the fear of parents.
"That bastard child is the daughter of a murderer. She'll poison the minds of everyone around us." A once nice old lady had whispered to another. Eleanor learned it's best to keep to herself. It only made it worse when she tried to defend her dad. No one cared. She didn't even know him to say he was a good person. But she trusted her mama. Her mama never once steered her wrong.
Even with all the negativity in the young girl's life, she always seemed to find the bright side. Her mama, books, TV shows, movies, video games, you name it. They were her escape from the crushing reality of her own personal hell.
She had an old beat up guitar that her mama use to play, a small box of Harry Potter chocolate frog cards she stole from the library, The Hobbit book small enough to fit into her pocket, and a necklace with a key on it. These were her favorite things to carry on her that kept her moving. She made a vow to herself that one day, she'd get her mama and herself out of the shit hole of a town and to a better place. Where her mama could sing to the world, and Eleanor could finally live in peace away from the mistakes of a man she never knew.
She didn't hate her father, she didn't have much of a reason to from what her mama had told her. The young girl had learned to ignore whatever her aunt said, since most of it was drunken slurs. He was doing his best with what he could. She also promised herself one day she would find either him, or someone super close to him. Just to know all she could about him. Everything she could learn about her other parent.
But she would never get that wish. It was late May, she was only twelve years old. She could tell you the exact details of it. She has just purchased some ice cream from some extra change she found on the ground. It was her favorite, chocolate. Eleanor had heard some fighting, but she had figured it was her neighbor and whatever guy she was with that week. Then, she heard the voice of her mama. There was a crash, a table or chair breaking which caused her to run up the stairs. She was almost to her door, when it was kicked open. A man and woman with black eyes walked out, looking down at her. They smiled.
"There's the little Winchester bitch." The woman spoke, her black eyes flickering off. Eleanor backed up as they walked closer. Before they grabbed her, her mama started chanting strange words. It seemed to paralyze them, because black smoke left their bodies and disappeared. The bodies fell with a thud, dead.
"Ellie. Ellie look at me. I know you're scared baby. I need you to listen. You need to pack up a small bag and go. Go as far away as you can. Don't trust anyone or anything. Watch your back. And stay alive at all cost." At this point the child was shaking. "Mama.. what... What about you?" Her mother tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "It's going to be ok. I'm going to hold these demons off. I promise you everything will be explained at some point. I'll let you take my journal on supernatural creatures i collected after meeting your father."
"D-demons? T-theyre real?" Her mama only pulled her into the apartment and helped her pack everything she could need. "There's no time. Hurry, get ready." With a bag strapped over her shoulder, guitar on back, book and cards in pocket, and key resting on her chest, she was set. "Here's all the money I have. Use it wisely."
The child was shaking, confused and conflicted. "Mama I don't wanna go!" "I know baby I know. But you have to. You need to go find your father. Promise me no matter what you will find him. He will protect you." Eleanor felt tears pouring down her cheeks. Her mama wiped them away, struggling to hold back her own. "It's going to be ok Ellie. You're strong, and brave. I know you can do it."
Her mama ushered her out of the building, into the dimming day. "Now, go to the bus station and get out of town. Follow the cases of strange deaths."
"But- but I don't know how!" "Read my journal. It will guide you. Now hurry before they come back. I love you."
That was the last time Eleanor saw her mother. She ran to the bus station terrified and in tears. She paid for the bus that was leaving, and made he way to the back. The young girl hugged herself, trying to calm her breathing. She closed her eyes, thinking of what she had to do next. Find her father, Dean Winchester.

... I'm not dead surprisingly. I haven't done anything on here since... Like a year ago? God I was still in middle school. Dark days. Much regret. Much cringe. Please end me. Anyway enough of that, I'm doing new stuff.
First off I am not making Ellie some type of badass. She is a cringy teenage girl (fangirl) and will be kinda sarcastic but also timid.
Second, I don't know if I'll do ships in this one as much as I love Destiel and Sabriel, because I want this to feel as authentic as the show does. And that's in every aspect. I know I'm also starting at season 9 but I'll do original stuff too along with the episodes there
Third, I'm not sure when I'll be updating chapters because I am all over the place with stuff. It'll be out when I think it's good enough. Am I good at all? No but I'll sure as hell try.
Go ahead and give some feedback and tell me I'm a dick for leaving and not updating in forever cause I deserve it. If you have any questions or comments I will answer them all. (I'll be watching) (jk)
Anyway have a great day or night!
