Leorio losed his match against Leroute. Will Kurapika win? Will they pass?

"Hahahahaa!!"

"That's one freaky body..." Leorio said.

"And face" Killua added.

"Look here! I've killed nineteen people, but it bugs me that nineteen is such an uneven number. I'm so glad I've gotten to meet my number twenty" he said pointing the hearts on his chest and then he laughs.

"Now we have serial killer?" Leorio said.

"I insist that we put our lives on the line. I won't accept some half assed contest. Blood! Entrails! Agony!" he laughed again.

"Well? You must be scared now...."

"Very well" Kurapika said.

"Huh?"

"You can now decide how we can settle this contest. I'll agree to his choice"

"O-oh... You've got balls" Majitani saaid clenching his fist.

"Hmph. I know you're quaking in your boots. How long can you maintain the tough guy act?"

"In that case, I also propose a death match, where we fiht until one of us surrenders or dies. However,don't expect me to stop when you surrender or beg for your life!" Majitani laughs again.

"Hold on! I forgot to mention something. No weapons allowed. We'll beat each other to the death with our fists. After all, while I may be hired as an examiner, I'm still a prisoner. I'm not allowed to carry weapons"

"I see. I understand" he throws his bokken at the side with his tabard.

"Anything else? If not, I'd like to get started"

"Huh? That little bastard... He had a concealed weapon! That was close. However, he appears he doesnt rely on it. He's that confident in his fighting ability? No, that doesn't seem to be the case! Hmph, maybe he wants to run, but he can't infront of his friends. Or he's so stupid, he can't even imagine how scary I am! Yes, that must be it... Well in that case. I have a couple of cards up my sleeve for dealing with such fools" Majitani gets ready and he's pumping his muscles to scare him.

"Hey, now. Is Kurapika gonna be ok? This guy looks dangerous"

"In what way does he looks dangerous?" Killua said in his mind putting his arms behind his neck.

"As far as I can tell, this guy's just a blowhard who doesn't have the guts to hit anyone, let alone kill anyone"

"Don't worry. Kurapika can do it" they look to Chika.

"Why not?" Leorio asked.

"Because I can see he has potential. I know he can beat him. Besides, I don't think he's strong"

"I also agree to Chika. Kurapika can win. Because when I look at him, I don't get chills"

"What do you mean?" Leorio asked.

"Time to show you my ace up my sleeve" Majitani jumps.

"Here he comes!" Leorio said.

"I'll see you dead!" he's ready to punch and Kurapika dodges it. Majitani punches the floor with a hole and Kurapika lands.

"He made a hole in the floor with his bare hands..." Leorio said shocked.

"That was perfect... And I still have one more trick..." Majitani turns around intentionally and Kurapika gasps seeing a spider tattoo.

"A tattoo of a spider with twelve legs... That's the Phantom Troupe!" Leorio said,

"Really?" Gon asked.

"Yeah, definitely. They're famous. I heard about them straight from Kurapika" Leorio said and Kurapika didn't move.

"It's fake..." Chika said.

"Huh?" they look to Chika.

"He's not one of the Phantom Troupe. He's just scaring Kurapika. He must have put a spider tattoo to scare anyone and not fight him" Chika explains.

"How can you be so sure?" Leorio asked.

"I'll tell you later... Look" Chika points Kurapika. Kurapika stands up.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? I'm Majitani, one of the Phantom Troupe's four kings! Consider that first strike my way of saying hello. Thismis your chance to surrender. I'm still willing to..." Kurapika raises his head and his eyes turns to scarlet.

"Huh?" Kurapika breaths weirdly.

"Wh-what's wrong with you?.... Huh?" Kurapika disappears. Majitani looks around and Kurapika holds his chin. Kurapika clenches his fist.

"O-o-okay... Wait! I get it! I surrender!" Kurapika punches him down and they bounces back. Gon and Leorio are suprised, Chika raises her eyebrow and Killua whistles.

"Consider this a warning.... First, a real phantom troupe tattoo has the member's number on the spider. Second, they don't bother how many they've killed because it's irrelevant. Third, don't mention the troupe again... Or I'll kill you..." Kurapika said coldly.

"Wow... He has potential" Chika said.

"Kurapika..." Leorio looks to Kurapika.

"Well, saw that coming from a mile away" Killua said.

"Yup.." Gon agrees and the metallic bridge extends. Kurapika goes back and gets his things.

"You okay, Kurapika?" Leorio asked.

"Yeah, I'm not injured"

"Also, is it safe for us to be near you?"

"From the moment I saw him, I knew he was weak" Kurapika puts his hand on his forehead and Gon and Leorio goes near him.

"And mentally, I knew that tattoo was fake. But as I soon as I saw that spider, everything in my sight turned red"

"Well, I can't blame you..." Leorio said putting his hand on his head.

"To tell the truth..."

"Hm?"

"Even when I saw a real spider, my personality changes and I enter a frenzy" when they heard that, they're terrified.

"We should keep Kurapika away from spiders" Gon whispers to Leorio.

"Yay! We won!" Chika said.

"Huh? Oh yeah!" Leorio remembers.

"Guys, we've won!"

"Alright!" Gon said happily. The door at the right opens and a metallic bridge extends.

"Across the bridge, you'll find a small room. You must spend the fifty hours you gambled away there" Lippo said.

"Well, let's go" Killua said and Gon nods.

"R-right..."

"I won't accept this..." a prisoner breaks the shackles.

"Huh?" Sedokan and Leroute gives him his way. They've stop on the ring and the prisoner removes his cloak. Leorio is terrified.

"Guys.. We have to run" Leorio said.

"You know him?" Gon asked. Johness, 968 year sentence, mass murderer.

"Yeah, Johness the Dissector. The worst mass murderer in Zaban's history. He chose his victims randomly. It was a famous case... 146 people young and old, men and women, met with his brutal deaths by his hands. The victims had one thing in common. He murdered all of them with his bare hands. He was known for his iron grip, the power in his fingers" Leorio explains.

"It's been a long time since I touched human flesh" he said.

"Let's go now"

"I'll fight him for a while since I didn't get the chance to do anything" Killua said and he walks towards Johness.

"Hey! Haven't you listened to what I said?!" Leorio asked.

"Let him be" Chika said.

"Let's trust Killua" Gon said.

"Huh?"

"I have no interest of this exam or any offers of the amnesty. I just want to touch human flesh..." Johness said.

"I'll tear your body apart" Killua passes him by. Johness's left breast bleeds. He turns around and Killua shows him his heart beating in a piece of cloth.

"That's... mine..." Johness tries to walk towards him while holding his chest.

"After seconds, the heart stops beating and Johness falls down dead. Killua gives him back the heart.

"Who is he?" Leorio shakes.

"That's right. You guys didn't know" Gon said.

"Huh? Don't know what?"

"Killua comes from an elite family of assassins"

"Isn't it cool?" Chika asked smiling.

"Eh? A-an e-elite family of a-assassins? And what are saying that's cool?!" Leorio stutters.

"Let's go" Killua said Leorio avoids him.

"What?"

"While at the base of the tower...

"Gitarrackur, applicant #301, is the second to pass. Total time, twelve hours and two minutes" the first one was Hisoka.

"I figured you'd already crosse the finish line" Gitarrackur said.

"ALL RIGHT! I'm the first to finish!"

"Hanzo, applicant #294, is the third to pass"

"Huh?" Hanzo looks at the right and saw Hisoka and Gitarrackur.

"No... I don't believe this. I came in third" Hanzo said irritated.

While in the top floors, Gon and his friends enters the room and they have fifty hours.

"Good grief. We have to spend fifty hours in this room?" Leorio sits on a couch.

"Killua"

"Huh?"

"Can you tell me how's that technique works?"

"Technique?"

"The one you used to instantly removed his heart"

"Oh, that wasn't even a technique. I just ripped it out"

"Ripped it out?"

"But to make it easier, I manipulated my body a bit" Killua shows his hand and it turns into sharp nails or claws.

"Y-your nails..." Leorio said.

"Wow!" Gon said and his hand goes back to normal.

"Mass murderers are still amateurs. I used to be a professional. But my old man would've done it better. When he removes a heart, you'll won't see even a drop of blood"

"How reassuring"

"As long he's in our side..."

"Well, then. We have two whole days..." Killua said.

"What should we do, Killua, Chika?"

"First, we will search the room for any kind of entertainment"

"Yeah!"

"Okay!"

"Man, you kids don't have care in the world" Leorio said and Kurapika sits on a couch.

Meanwhile at the base...

"Gerreta, applicant #384, is the fourth to pass. Total time twelve hours and twenty-seven minutes" he sits and leans on the wall.

"Eh.. Not bad, I guess..."

Killua teaches Gon and Chika how to flip a skateboard. He demonstrates it to them.

"If you hesitate the first step, you'll hurt yourself" Killua said.

"Got it" Chika said and Killua borrows him his skateboard.

"Hey, Kurapika. Once we've spent fifty hours here, we'll have fewer than ten hours, right?" Leorio asked.

"Yes, that's correct"

"That's way more enouh time!"

"But our chances of reaching the goal within ten hours will depend on the remaining trials" Kurapika thinks.

"Yeah, that's true" Chika flips the skateboard just like Killua did.

"Wow..." Gon said.

"You're a fast learner..." Killua said.

"Hihihihi... Well, you're style is cool" Chika said.

"Wh-what are you saying? It's embarrassing" Killua looks away.

"There's nothing embarrassing. Isn't that a compliment?" Chika asked.

"Oh well. Nevermind about that" Chika gives the skateboard to Gon.

"My turn..."

"Leorio"

"Hm?"

"Why did you use me in the bet?" Leorio looks away and scratch his head.

"Oh. Hahaha... I-I've just thinked maybe it might work.. Hehe... Sorry, Kurapika" Leorio said.

"I still can't believe it. You really irritate me back there"

"Hey, I'm already sorry... Can't you forgive me?"

"Sort of..."

"Oh, man..." the skateboard flies pass to Kurapika's face and it hits on the wall. Kurapika can't move because of numbness.

"Sorry about that" Gon said.

"Hey! Don't skateboard in this tiny room!" Leorio said.

"Aww...." in the morning. Killua didn't sleep and Kurapika wakes up.

"Can't sleep?" he asked.

"That's not it. I can go two or three days without sleep" Killua said.

"Ten hours have passed, huh"

"There are no windows, so it's hard to tell. But it's probably morning"

"Most likely" Killua sits up and he gets a pillow. He chuckles and hits it to Chika's head.

"Huh? Hey, I can't breath" Chika said and Killua let her breath. Chika sits up.

"Is it morning already?"

"I think so" Killua is off guard so Chika hits her pillow to him. Chika puts her tongue out.

"That's not fair" Killua said and then Gon hits Chika with his pillow. Gon and Killua laughs. Now they start a pillow fight.

"So you're guys going to team up, huh? Take this!" they hit and throw pillows at each other.

"Hey. Pipe down" Leorio said still asleep. The three laughs.

"Let me sleep some more...."

"Shh..." Chika sushes and she has a phone in her pocket. She walks slowly to Leorio and put it beside Leorio. Chika presses something and then there's a loud ringtone. Leorio got suprised so he sits up and catches his breath. Gon and Killua laughs along with Kurapika.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?! THAT WASN'T FUNNY!" Leorio is piss off.

"Damn, now I'm totally awake. And we still have forty hours left?" Leorio sits by the table. After a few hours, Leorio is sleeping again while Kurapika is reading books.

"Oh, I thought you just had to stick the bait on the hook and you could fish" Killua said.

"Yeah. You have to think like a fish" Gon said.

"Think like a fish?"

"Do you live in Whale Island?" Chika asked.

"How did you know?"

"I heard fishermen lives there and their only job is to fish. I've been there just a year ago"

"Really? How was it?"

"Great. But I left immediately.."

"What? Why?"

"I have a mission. My only goal is to find the five stones. I've already collected three..."

"Wow..." Gon exclaims.

"You really like jewels, huh?" Killua said.

"Not really. I'm just doing this for my parents. They're aren't ordinary stones. If I collect them all, I can find them"

"Oh..."

"Hey, Gon. May I borrow your fishing pole?"

"Oh, sure" Gon gives her his fishing pole.

"I think this is what Gon meant to think like a fish" Chika said and she throws the hook aiming at Leorio's pants but it missed.

"That's correct but you miss" Gon said.

"Chika, let me borrow" Chika gives it to Killua.

"Watch this..." Killua pulls the pole and then it lodges to Leorio's pants. Leorio wakes up.

"H-hey, what are you doing? Hey..."

"Just as planned!"

"Nice!"

"Hey, You'll tear my pants! Stop it..." then the hook is removed.

"See? I caught him"

"Yeah"

"What's that suppose to mean? I'M A FISH NOW?!"

"You don't have to be so mad. It's not like I'm gonna grill and eat you" Killua said.

"Just common sense" Chika said.

"DON'T MESS WITH ME, FOOLS! Man, I can't even take a nap" Leorio said and the three looks at each other and chuckles. Leorio is piss off.

At the base, the other applicants are eating and two arrives simultaneously.

"Yes, the goal!" Pokkle said hapoily and he saw someone with him.

"Pokkle, applicant #53, Goz applicant #371. Both arrived simultaneously. Total time, thirty hours and four minutes"

"Damn. Old timer... In a tie, the applicant with the lower number wins" Pokkle said and walks away.

"These guys must be very skilled. I would like to fight them eventually" Goz said to himself.

Meanwhile at the room, Gon and Killua are asleep. Kurapika fell asleep while reading a book. After Leorio finishes watching tv, he turns it off and Kurapika wakes up and saw Leorio goes to bed. Kurapika puts the books at the side and goes to sleep too. Chika can't sleep. She raise her finger....

"Hm... Will I teach them Nen after the exam? I want to show them my ability. But I can't..." Chika sits up and looks at her friends if they're asleep. She looks at the time and it's only 22:06. Chika smirks.

"How about if I adjust the time.." Chika raise her finger and there's a yellow spark. She goes near the monitor and she touched it. She changed the time. After a few hours, Gon, Killua and Chika throws pillows at each other. Leorio is still sleeping.

"I think we slept to much. It felt like we slept for three hours..." Kurapika said.

"Chika, are you the one who changed the time?"

"Yup and it's a secret!" Chika answers.

"Hm.. It's definitely Chika..."

"Chika"

"What?"

"Can you tell us about the Nen you showed days ago?"

"No. I told you after the exam. Be patient" Chika said.

"Do you have other abilities?"

"Abilities?" then Gon and Killua smash her some pillows.

"Got you!" the two said simultaneously.

"You two!" Chika uses two pillows and she drags them to the ground and covers their faces with pillows.

"Thay's payback. Oh! I can show you an ability, Kurapika..."

"Ch..ika.." the two said while touching Chika.

"Oops..." Chika releases them and Gon and Killua sits up while catching their breath.

"That was fun..." Killua said and they laugh. Chika approaches Kurapika.

"You want me to show you my ability?"

"Yes. Would you?"

"Sure. Give me a piece of paper" Kurapika tears a paper in a book. Then, she gives it. Gon and Killua approaches them.

"I can do what Hisoka can do"

"Huh?" the paper is straightened and she throws it like a shuriken. Leorio wakes up and arose from the couch.

"LEORIO, LOOK OUT!"

"Huh?" Leorio look at his right and the paper cuts half of his hair. The paper hits the wall.

"L-leorio" Gon calls.

"You're hair" Killua said to him.

"What?" Leorio touches his hair.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR?!"

"Don't worry. It'll grow..."

"Grr... This is the last straw!"

"I'm sorry" Chika looks down.

"Leorio, she's apologizing. Just forgive her" Kurapika said.

"Ok, ok. What a bad morning. I'll ignore you after the time finishes..." Leorio said and he sits on the couch.

"It's one of my abilities. I have more but that's the last one. I'll show you more at the other phases, I guess..." after a few hours, there are two minutes left so they get ready.

"One minute left" Gon said.

"That's one long minute" Leorio said and the door opens. Gon goes first.

"Ah.. Wait up, Gon!"

After the hours they've waited, they now proceed to move. Will they make it in time?
