Gon is staring down infront of the window and remembers what Killua said before.

"I'm from a family of assassins. So they're all assassins. And the family has really has high hopes for me... But I can't stand it. Who wants to have their life planned out for them?"

"Hey, Gon. Are you ok?" Chika asked and Gon turns to Chika.

"Yeah"

"You're thinking about Killua, aren't you?" Gon nods.

"Same here. I hope he's fine..." Chika said and they look at the buildings. Then someone puts french fries into Gon's mouth. He turns around and saw Leorio and Kurapika.

"What's with the long face, Gon?" Leorio asked.

"We'll be in Republic of Padokea by morning. You'll see Killua soon enough" Kurapika said.

"Yep" Gon eats the french fries and Chika turns around.

"We'll definitely take Killua back with us!" Gon said to himself. At midnight, the others are asleep and Chika can't sleep. She remembers what Hisoka told her. Another reason is that she's charging her phone. Then her phone vibrates. Someone messages her and she's suprised. Kurapika is sleeping and then he wakes up.

"You can't sleep?" Kurapika asked and Chika nods.

"I'll try to sleep" Chika said and Kurapika goes back to sleep. Chika looks at the window.

The next day, Gon, Chika, Kurapika and Leorio have arrived in the Dentora region of the Republic of Padokea, where Killua lives. Currently, they're riding on a train.

"There it is. The base for this family of assassins is on that mountain. It's surely looks creepy" Leorio said.

"Yes. Once we reached our destination,we should start gathering information" Kurapika said.

"Okay" then later they arrive in a village and they start asking how to get to Kukuroo Mountain.

"Kukuroo Mountain? In that case, you should take the scenic mountain bus tour over there. The tour only runs once a day, but you'll have a guide to show you around" the lady vendor said pointing the terminal.

"Okay... Thank for taking the Lamentation Tour today" the tour guide said and bows.

"We will be visiting Kukuroo Mountain home of the famous Zoldyck family of assassins"

"Look" Leorio and Kurapika looks to the two men at the back seat.

"They're obviously not tourists"

"Everyone... Please look at your right. That's the Kukuroo Mountain, where the Zoldyck Family lives. A forest surrounds the 3 722 meter mountain and the Zoldyck Estate is somewhere on that mountain. The Zoldyck Family includes ten members: a great grandfather, grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and then, there are five children. All of them are assassins! Then let us approach to the mountain" then they arrived infront of a tall gate.

"That's really something" Leorio said.

"This is the front gate of the Zoldyck Estate. Also known as the Door of Hades because no one who's entered has ever returned alive. To enter, you must past through the door beside the security checkpoint. But the area beyond the gate is private propertyso we can't proceed"

"This is the front gate? But the mountain's all the over there!" Leorio said.

"Correct... The Zoldycks own Kukuroo Mountain as well as the surrounding land"

"This whole area is their backyard?"

"Hey, guide..." Gon calls her.

"Yes?"

"What do we have to do to get inside?"

"Little boy, were you listening to my explanation?"

"Uh-huh. But...."

"If you go inside, you'll never get out alive! Assassins live inside"

"That's all sham" the man said walking towards the door with his friend.

"The family of assassins that no one's ever seen. Just the photo of their faces is worth a hundred million" the slim man said.

"SERIOUSLY?! DAMN!" Leorio snaps his finger.

"I should have taken the picture of Killua!"

"It's just another case of rampant rumors masking a mundane truth" a guard is inside and the fat man removes the door and then grabs the guard.

"Open the Gate!"

"I-I cannot do that. The master would not be pleased"

"Don't worry. We're going to kill your master" the slim man said and the guard sighs. He gives them the key and the fat one throws him.

"Ouch..."

"Are you ok?" Gon asked approaching him.

"Yes, I'm fine" the two goes in.

"Man... Mike's going to end up eating between meals again"

"Huh?"

"AAAHHHH!!!" the two men screams. The door opens and two skeletons appears and the monster drops them. The tourists and the tour guide panics so they all go inside the bus.

"Please... He's only to eat at assigned times. Mike! Don't blame me if you get fat" 

"What was that?" Kurapika asked.

"A watchdog, I guess..." Chika said.

"HEY, YOU FOUR! What are you doing? Get on the bus!" the tour guide calls them.

"You can leave. We're staying here" Gon said.

"Huh?" the tour guide exclaims. Later it's sunset and Gon and his friends are inside the guardhouse.

"I see. So you're young Killua's friends. I'm happy to hear that. I've worked here for twenty years but this time it's the first time any friends come to visit" he said while he serves tea to them.

"Since I worked here, I shouldn't say this, but the place is rather lonely. No one ever visits. Though we do see a lot of those..." the guard points the skeletons in the trash can.

"The Zoldyck Family are really cool..." Chika said to herself.

"Well, a family of assassins is pretty unusual.  So I suppose it's the price they have to pay. Anyway, I'm glad you're here. Thank you" he bows his head.

"Don't mention it" Leorio said.

"However... I cannot let you inside. Didn't you see that large arm of that creature? Its name is Mike. It serves as the Zoldyck Family's watchdog. It only obeys family, and will attack anyone else. The beast still follows the order its master gave it ten years ago.... To kill every single intruder. But technically, he isn't following an order. Because he keeps eating them" he gets his tea.

"Anyway, I can't let to inside. I don't want to reduce young Killua's friends to skeleton"

"Sir, how it is that you're safe? You go inside, correct? Kurapika asked.

"If you never needed to enter, you wouldn't have a key"

"Quite perceptive of you. But you're only half right. I require no key to get inside" the guard gets the key.

"This key is for intruders"

"A key for intruders?" Leorio asked.

"For some reason, eighty to nineteen percent of intruders attempt to use the front gate. If I don't open the gate for them, they'll try to break it down. Such troublemakers.... So we added a lock door to one side. The intruders take the key from the helpless guard, and then Mike eats them"

"A locked door.... That's it!" Kurapika realizes something.

"As you realize, I'm not a guard. I merely clean up after Mike"

"And the actual gate isn't locked!"

"Exactly"

"What?" Leorio looks at the back and they now know that the actual gate is the tallest one. They go outside. Leorio prepares himself to open the gate. Then he pushed it with all his might and it wouldn't open. He catches his breath and then he pulls it and it won't still open.

"I've tried pushing and pulling but it won't budge. Are you sure it isn't locked?"

"You just aren't strong enough" the guard said.

"THAT'S ABSURD! I've been using all of my strength!" the guard removes his upper clothes except his sleeveless shirt.

"Just watch" the guard goes infront of the gate.

"This gate's official name is the Testing Gate. Anyone who cannot open this gate" then he releases a white aura.

"Is unqualified to enter the Zoldyck Estate"  he continues and he opened it but one door. He steps back and the door automatically closes.

"As you just saw, the door closes automatically so you'll want to run in, the second it opens. You don't need to worry about Mike. He has orders not to attack any who enter through the Testing Gate. Still, this is getting tougher as I age..." he said wiping his sweat.

"But they'll fire me if I can't open the gate so I need to keep in shape. I should mention thay each of the gate one's door weighs two tons"

"TWO TONS?" Leorio exclaims.

"You're not supposed to be able to open that! Wait, what did you say? Gate one?"

"Yes, have a look. There are seven gates. When you go up the gate, the weight doubles"

"Doubles?"

"The number of gates open depends on the amount of strength you use. Incidently, when young Killua returns, he opened gates one to three"

"Gate three? Then that would be twelve tons!"

"Sixteen tons, Gon..." Kurapika said and he and Chika have sweatdrops on their heads. Gon scratches his head and laugh.

"Do you understand? This is what's required just to get in to the door. They live in a completely different world"

"Hmm... I don't like it. Mister, let me have the key. I came here to see my friend not to be tested. You can consider me an intruder. So let me borrow the key. I'll use the intruder's door"

"Gon..."

"Hey..."

"It doesn't matter if you won't loan me the key. I'll just climb the wall if that's what it takes.

"Hey, are you an idiot? You'll be eaten easily. You die without seeing Killua and your dad" Chika warns him.

"Chika's right. Didn't you see that monster? Its arm is bigger than your body!" Leorio said.

"I won't accept this!" Gon raises his voice.

"Why would you test your friends? I'll never enter through that door!" Gon said.

"You are absolutely right. However, forcing your way through is impossible. Mike will kill you" the guard said.

"I agree. We have plenty of time. Let's figure out the..." Kurapika is cut off by Chika when she walks near Gon.

"I agree with Gon. But there's no other door. So I'll open the door by myself for Gon. I also wanted to see Killua right now"

"Are you sure, young lady? I've already told you that each gate is two tons" the guard said and Chika goes towards the gate while rolling her sleeves.

"Hey, Chika, do you think you can open that?" Leorio asked.

"Well, fifty percent"

"I trust you, Chika" Gon said. Chika puts her hands on the gate then she pushes it with all her strength then she opened two doors but it wasn't enough for a person to fit. The door automatically closes and Chika flies off because of it. She landed on the ground.

"Chika, are you ok?" Kurapika asked.

"She opened two doors" Leorio said with a shock.

"I'm okay. To be honest, I'm tired. Maybe I can open it tomorrow" Chika said.

"Chika! YOU'RE AMAZING!" Gon said with his eyes sparkling.

"But I really wanted to see killua now"

"Oh! Do you have a telephone?" Chika asked the guard.

"Yes. Why did you asked?"

"We can talk to Killua, can we?" later the guard calls on the telephone.

"Hello. This is Zebro. Four of young Killua's friends are here to see them. They wanted to talk to him right now. Yes. Yes. I'm sorry. Yes. Yes. Yes, I understand. Yes. I'm very sorry. I apologize for disturbing you" he puts the phone down.

"Yep, I got in trouble"

"You called the mansion?" Gin asked.

"No I was speaking with the Zoldyck Family Butler. All communication with the mansion must go through the butler. It's very difficult to reach any of the family members"

"Could you call him again? I'll talk to him this time" Chika asked.

"Yes. This is the butler's office"

"I'm Chika, one of Killua's friends. Is Killua there?"

"Killua-sama has no friends" the butler said and puts the phone down. Chika calls him again. The three goes near to her.

"Yes, this is the butler's office"

"This is Chika. I have something to say"

"What is it?"

"SHOW SOME PROPRIETY! I WASN'T FINISHED TALKING TO YOU! PUT KILLUA ON THE PHONE!!" Chika said with a vein on her head. The three are shock with suprise.

"Let's pretend that Killua-sama happens to have a friend named Chika. There is no proof that you're Chika"

"He'll recognize me by my voice if I talk to him"

"By your voice?"

"He'll recognize me by my voice if I talk to him" her voice is being mimic.

"Don't put the phone down... Gon, you talk to this guy" Chika said and Gon gets the phone"

"Hello. I'm Gon, Killua's friend. Why can't you let Killua talk to us?" Gon asked.

"Killua-sama has no friends and he'll not recognize you by your voice. I recorded her voice" the butler repeats it.

"There are many other ways to mimic a person's voice. Next you'll claim thatnhe'd recognize you by sight. There are only a few methods by which you could perfectly mimic someone's appearance. But it's still impossible. Additionally, it's possible that someone forced you to approach Killua-sama for sinister purposes. As long as the threat exists, I cannot let you meet Killua-sama. The Zoldyck Family practices the trade of assassination. Naturally, it has made enemies. As butlers, our duty is to guide our masters from their enemies. I apologize but please leave" he butler puts the phone down. Gon is piss off.

"How dare they..."

"Now, they're both piss off" Leorio whispers to Kurapika.

"Indeed..."

"Gon, let's just see Killua tomorrow. Now I'm one hundred percent sure that we can see Killua tomorrow" Chika said.

"Where will we stay?" Gon asked.

"Come with me" Zebro said and they come with him. Then they arrive infront of a small cabin.

"You can stay all night here. Feel yourselves at home" Zebro said and he opens the door.

Gon has seen the Zoldyck Family in a completely different world. However, Gon had promised himself... No matter what difficulties awaited him he would find Killua in the end.

A/N: Another chapter finished. I have also something to say. Starting on June 18 I'll be not publishing more chapters. I'll publish the chapter every friday. Sometimes, Saturday and Sunday.
