Illumi's POV

After killing one of the Chimera ants, the snake, I continued going after Y/n. 

I have to get her back no matter what! If I don't, she'll become one of them. But... if she is the one, she would survive being a Chimera ant, and a vampire.

I encountered many more Chimera ants, but I defeated them all at ease and continued on. The only thing in my mind was Y/n. I shouldn't had let her go to her work and should had known that Killua was there.

I know Killua can protect her, including the other vampires, but that won't be enough. I will save Y/n no matter what happens. I should have told her earlier that... that I love her. When I left her yesterday and heard her scream, I was really desperate to find her.

"Illumi!" The voice of Kalluto called my name.

Soon, he was beside me.

"What is it?" I ask with my usual facial expression.

"Let... us help." He answered and I look back and saw Killua, Gon, Bisky, Kurapika and the Phantom Troupe.

As much as I want Killua not to be here, I would let him because I would... need as much help as I can.

"Fine." I agreed to him.

Throughout the journey, there are more Chimera Ants army, and I couldn't stop worrying about Y/n.

"Get out of my way!" I growled as I removed the head of one of the Chimera ants out of its body.

"Illumi..." Killua trailed off and I look at him, full of blood-lust. "As much as I want to get there as fast as we could without getting angry, I would have done it but calm down, we don't want them sensing our presence."

Still, I didn't calm and glared at him, releasing even more blood-lust.

"Do it for... her." He added and I widened my eyes, then I finally calmed down.

"Tch." Was all I said before we continued on.

Normal POV

"Finally, she had transformed into one of us. Great job Master Meruem." Shaiapouf played his violin as a sign of joy.

"She is the most beautiful work of art we have created." Menthuthuyoupi added.

"Master, someone is coming. I felt them in my En." Neferpitou announce.  

"Is that so, then let's send her to fight them. Surely, they won't hurt her so they won't have any chance." Meruem snickered.

Illumi's POV

We finally made it to the territory of the Chimera Ants. But I sense something was wrong, Meruem and his three royal guards were there, waiting.

"You finally came." Meruem smirk evilly and I could sense something, something way more worst than killing the Chimera Ants.

"Where's Y/n?!" Killua burst out.

"She's no longer called Y/n, she is now... Scorpio." Pitou meowed then the four of them steps aside.

Another figured came walking in and no one made a sound. We were all observing the girl, whom Meruem might have called 'Dark Angel' which was... Y/n. (What you look like is photo below but make your colour your favourite colour and just imagine you have scorpion tail and your face)

"No way..." Killua said the first word.

Y/n was turned into an angel looking girl, but she has a scorpion tail. She look... completely different, but she's still Y/n. The girl that...  I have fallen in love with.

"No way..." Killua was the first one who reacted.

"It... can't be..." Bisky cried.

"She's..." Kurapika trailed off but I could tell that he doesn't want to continue.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Gon immediately charged towards them without any thinking.

Y/n attacked Gon with one single attack, by swiping her new scorpion tail to him. With Gon's reflex, he manage to block Y/n's attack, but he was thrown back to us. Then Y/n drew a line between her and all of us.

"Pass this line, I won't hesitate to attack." She warned and I could tell that she was serious. (Just like Canary when Gon was trying to pass)

"What now?" Bisky sobbed.

"Y/n! It's us! Your family!" Killua screamed.

"Y/n no longer exist, my name is Dark Angel, the most trusted royal guards of the Chimera Ants. I will follow orders from Master Meruem and would be loyal to him until I die. You all are my enemies. And if you don't want to get hurt or die, you better leave this instant." She threatened us.

"We're your friends Y/n!" Bisky shrieked in tears. "And we will always be friends."

From that sentence, I knew what she was saying. And we will always be friends, meaning, we don't want to hurt you, or fight you.

"Like I care." Y/n stated and I clutch my hand.

Before anyone can say a word, I started walking forward.

"Illumi! What are you doing?!" Bisky asked.

Now, I could feel everyone's eyes behind my back, including Y/n. I was getting near the line and as soon as my right feet pass halfway, I was sent backwards making me slide on my feet with one hand down the ground. She hit me on my right cheek using her scorpion tail. I stood up straight again and walk towards her again.

"What the heck are you doing Illumi?!" Killua ask and I could tell that he was a bit worried at me.

The same thing happened again, but I kept repeating it, not minding the pain that she's giving to me, for it only hurt inside five seconds, then it would disappear. At this moment, everyone was trying to stop me from doing it, but I won't. Not unless Y/n would finally wake up soon.

"I know you're still there..." WHACK!

I stood back up again and walked towards her.

"I know you can hear me..." WHACK!

"I won't give up..." WHACK!

"I know that's still you..." WHACK!

"You said that you would kill us once we cross the line..." WHACK!

"But I know you're fighting the voice inside your head..." WHACK!

"And if you really want to kill us, you would have done it long time ago..." WHACK!

"SHUT UP!" She screamed.

"But you didn't..." WHACK!

"I SAID SHUT UP!" She repeated.

"Because I know that you don't want to hurt us..." WHACK!

" STOP IT!" She pleaded.

"I know you're holding back..." WHACK!

"PLEASE, STOP!" She begged.

"You see, I won't stop..." WHACK!

"Till you come back..."  WHACK!

I wipe the blood on my mouth off and locked my eyes on her.

"To me..."

With that statement, she widen her eyes a little and at that little moment, I saw that the Y/n that I have learn to love, was awaken at last. She stared at me for a second and it looks like she realize what she had just done, then she clutch her head with both of her hands.

"LEAVE!" She shrieked.

"PLEASE, RUN AWAY! JUST LEAVE ALREADY! I... I don't want to hurt anybody..." Tears started falling from her eyes, then she just started laughing hysterically.

"Now you done it. I warned you but you didn't listen. I won't hold back anymore." Dark aura started to surrounded her and winds are starting to build up.

"This is bad." Killua commented and without thinking, I dash towards Y/n and jump really high, making the both of us fly up the sky.

She opened her wings so she can fly as well and she pushed me backwards, but I held on her wrist and pulled her by the waist. She froze for a minute, except for her wings, and she stared into my eyes.

"I know you're still in there Y/n. I know you can here me." I said softly while I rub my thumb softly on her cheek.

Her eyes started to be watery and I smiled on the inside, for I know that she was fighting whatever is blinding her from seeing the truth at the moment.

"Illumi... I... I'm so sorry..." She cried and I wiped the tears that was streaming down her face with my thumb.

"Shhh, don't worry, it's okay. I'm fine. Please... don't cry, I don't like seeing you cry." I comfort her and she cried on my chest.

"Please... Kill me, before I kill you." I froze at her sentence and my heart was beating loud.

"I cannot kill you..." I trailed off. "Not now, not ever." 

"Why not? I don't want to hurt you again... so please, I'm begging you, kill me now before I hurt somebody again." She begged.

"I... I can't... Y/n, I know it might be too late now but, I... I" Before I could finish my sentence, something soft touch my lip.

I look down and saw Y/n kissing me. My heart race and fireworks was everywhere. But before I could kiss back, I heard the sound of a sword and Y/n pulled away. She slash me on my chest and I grunt in pain while falling down. 

I landed on top of the mountain and I sat up, feeling the sting on my cut that is now healing. Y/n soon fly down and grabbed me then she flew up. She tried to slash me again but she misses, like there's two spirit controlling her.

"I told you to kill me but you didn't listen, so now, you're going to meet your end!" She exclaimed and was about to charge at me but she stops.

"I'm so sorry..." She started crying. 

"I... I love you... so much..." Was the last words she said before putting the end of the sword towards her chest to where her heart was.

I tried to stop her, but I am not that fast up the air so she plunge the sword straight to her chest and she send me a smile, the smile that I only saw for the first time, a genuine smile. Then she started falling down and I caught her between my arms, then we landed a bit hard down the ground to where the others are now fighting the Chimera Ants.

They all stop as soon as we made an entrance and I knelled down the ground, with Y/n on my lap and her head on my arms.

"I... I love you too Y/n. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I was afraid that you wouldn't like me back and reject my feelings. I love you so much. I have love you since I first saw you. You were different to other girls and that's what I love about you." I didn't realize that I was already crying.

"I-Illumi..." Y/n cough and I look at her.

She was looking weak and fragile. Like if someone touch her she would just break. Blood was dropping from her mouth and she was still trying to smile.

"P-please do-don't cry, i-it's not l-like you... I-I'm glad t-that you l-love me t-too... b-but I-I want y-you to forget a-about me and m-move on..." She spoke while placing her hand on my face and I shook my head.

"I would never do that, I would always love you and nobody else." I stated.

"Do it... f-for me..." Was the last word she said before  her hand fell down by her side and her chest stopped moving.

I place my lip onto hers while my tears drip down her face then I let out a super scream that can kill an ordinary Chimera Ants and Vampires, which only killed the soldiers, not the leaders of the soldiers, the three royal guards and their master, Meruem, whom had turned the only girl I love into one of their kind.

"Illumi, there's only... one way to get her back." Kalluto suggested and I know what he meant by that. 

To turn her into one of our kind, a Vampire.

Even though I was unsure if she's the one, I'm going to do it. I'll do everything just to get her back again. Without wasting any seconds, I slowly planted my vampire teeth on her neck. Soon, she started shaking, then stopped.

Everyone started fighting again, protecting me and Y/n. I looked at her, for any shown of life, but she wasn't even breathing, nor moving. I clutch my hand and swore that I will avenge her, then I could feel my vision going red.

There's a reason why I'm the next leader. This is because when I'm really angry, I could kill millions of Vampires and Chimera and no one can stop me until I'm satisfied. 

"Illumi no!" Killua warned but it was too late.

I charged towards some of the Chimera Ants, and towards where Meruem was. The three royal guards tried to stop me, but Killua verse Pouf, Gon verse Pitou, some of the Phantom Troupe fought Youpi and the others fought the leaders.

I fought Meruem with all my might. At the end, there were bruise around me while he doesn't have even a single scratch. But my bruises have healed. We fought a bit more until I have to use all my energy to defeat him.

He also charge at me at the same time and we both caught each other's hand, and he was about to attack me with his tail, but something blocked it.

"Taking a break Illumi?" A familiar voice made me shock and I was really happy and surprise to hear her name.

I look over my shoulder and saw none other than Y/n. The girl that made me feel emotions, the girl I have love. But her once f/c wings was now blood red color. (If red is your favorite color, then make it pink). Also what she was wearing before was now blood red.

"You're still alive?" Meruem ask in disbelief, which I was shock as well.

"Well, I guess so. But now, I'm even better than Chimera Ants. I'm also a Vampire." Y/n grinned while showing her vampire teeth.

"Stop grinning you idiot, you look stupid." I smirk and she pouted.

"You're no fun. You should be thankful because I saved your life." She smirk in triumph and I rolled my eyes.

We both fought Meruem and soon, every Chimera Ants are defeated. 

Reader's POV

After the fight, I transformed back to my normal form then ran towards Illumi as fast as I can, which I was really over-whelm by my speed and I couldn't control it! So now, I startled Illumi and I opened my arms while wrapping it around his neck as soon as we collided.

"Oof!" He made a sound and we crashed down the ground while he grunt slightly.

"What do you think you're doing?!" He ask in rage.

"Sorry, I wasn't use to vampire speed yet." I said childishly.

"You could have been hurt! Or worse, get you-" I cut him off by crashing my lip into his, which he kiss back, but I pulled away immediately.

"Am I forgiven?" I ask sheepishly.

"Hmmm, one more." I smiled then we went for another kiss.

"Oh get a room! You two are disgusting." Killua complained and I laugh.

And from that day on, we live happily, ever, after!!!
