Normal POV

You were walking down the now dark sidewalk to go to your home. The reason why you're walking alone in the middle of the night is because you have to cover someone's shift. So here you are now, alone in the cold, cold dark night, scared that something might just pop out of nowhere.

Man, why didn't I accept that ride? You thought.

Suddenly, you heard a noise coming from behind you, but you merely thought that it was an alley cat. You began to walk faster because the noise that you heard became louder each seconds. Then you realize that the noise was a footstep.

Oh man, oh man, oh man! You thought fanatically.

As you began to walk faster, the footstep was also increasing so you run, and whoever the person that was following you, also run. You started walking again, and the person copied your pace and so you run once more, then walk again.But this time, the person following you didn't stop running.

You then saw an ally-way not far so you were thinking either to turn in there and hide, or run away. You chose to turn in the ally-way, but it was a bad idea, for it was a dead-end. Then it scared you more because the person's footstep was right behind you.

Sweats started to form from different places of your face, your heart start beating so loud like a drum and your knees are shaking in fear. You were waiting for whoever the person to grab you or put a piece of cloth on your mouth to either kill you, do inappropriate things, torture you or kidnap you.

But your expectations weren't meet. Instead of all the things that you were just thinking would happen sooner or later, you can hear the person breathing heavily, as if it was in pain and it was murmuring something you couldn't understand.

Slowly but surely, you start to turn around just to see the person and when you were halfway to seeing whoever it was, the person pushed you towards the wall, making you squeak because you didn't see it coming.

"H-h-h-help m-me..." Was all the person said before he collapsed in front of you.

By the voice, you could tell that it was a man. At this time, your nervousness, worried and panic had disappeared like a bubble popping on the air. You stared at the person in front of you, observing his appearance. He has very long jet black hair, and was wearing a green top and black pants.

But that's not the only thing you have notice. His green top was almost covered in red blood, and there's a big, deep, cut at the side of his left forehead. Without thinking, you immediately crouch beside him with one knee touching the ground and you shake his body lightly.

"Uhhh, sir? Are you alright?" You ask, which you think was the stupidest question you have ever ask to someone.

Of course he's not alright! He's covered in... blood! You thought and mentally slapped your face.

So without hesitation, so scoop under the man's arm and stood up with all your might, dragging the man along with you all the way to your apartment, which you were lucky that no one else is awake to see you, and there's elevator.

It took you a very long time to travel from the alley-way, to your apartment because the man was really heavy for you, and you're just a normal female, wanting to help the man. As soon as you arrived at your apartment, you immediately locked your door and laid the man on your bed, then you flop down beside it, trying to catch your breathe.

You rest for five seconds, then you stood up, rushing to your cabinets to find a first aid kit, then a clothes that could fit to the man, some hot water and other medical stuff you needed. (I'm just going to skip a little)

After you have aided the man, put bandages on his head and change his top without looking at his body because you were focusing on treating him, your knee collapsed down the floor, and you lean your back on the wall, breathing heavily.

You studied the man one more time, watching his breast goes up and down. That's when you realize that you were a mess, so you decided to have a shower.

Illumi's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar place and I notice that the blood that was once on me was gone, my top was now a white top and there's bandages on my head. I also realize that whoever place I was in, was a mess. I heard a shower that turned off from I recon where the bathroom is, so I sat on the bed, while waiting for the person to come out of the bathroom.

Five minutes of waiting, a woman with e/c eyes, h/c h/l and wearing (Favourite sleeping clothes) on went out of the bathroom. Her eyes met with mine and we stared at each other for about five seconds before she speaks.

"Oh, you're finally awake. My name is Y/n, Y/n L/n. You were in the alley-way bleeding so I took you in. I was lucky that I found a top that can fit you. So how are you feeling?" She ask while smiling.

Is she stupid or what? She took a stranger inside her place without caution? 

Normal POV

When you went out of the bathroom, you saw that the man was finally awake and was sitting on top of your bed. He stared at your eyes for about five seconds before you spoke.

"Oh, you're finally awake. My name is Y/n, Y/n L/n. You were in the alley-way bleeding so I took you in. I was lucky that I found a top that can fit you. So how are you feeling?" You ask with a sincere smile.

You stood there, waiting for the man to answer while observing the emotionless expression planted on the man's face.

"Where am I?" Was the answer that you got.

"You're in my apartment." You replied.

"Why did you bring me here?" He ask one more time.

"Because you needed help." You said honestly.

"I don't need your help." He stated emotionless at me and this comment kinda hurt you, but you ignored it.

"A simple thanks would be fine." You whispered, not aware that he heard it.

The man sigh then removed his gaze away from you. 

"Thanks." He mumbled but you heard it clearly.

Though he said that without any emotions, like he didn't really meant it and was force to say it.

"So um... may I know your name?" You ask politely while tapping both of your pointy fingers together.

The man on your bed returned his gaze to you, which made you feel uneasy.

"I am Illumi Zoldyck. Prince of the Zoldyck clan." Illumi replied and this made you think.

"Zoldyck... Zoldyck..." You repeated. "Pretty sure I heard that word before."

And then realization hits you like a wrecking ball.

"Zoldyck clan! You mean the Vampire clan?!" You screamed in surprise.

"Yes, indeed." Illumi bluntly answered.

There was a minute of silent, memories flashing in your mind and Illumi thinking whether to eliminate you or not, or just wait there for you to do something.

"S-so you're a real vampire?" You ask just to make sure of it.

Instead of replying, Illumi disappeared and appeared in front of you, pushing you backwards to the wall, while trapping you in both of his hands at the both side of your head.

"Does this answer your question?" Illumi questioned and you were daze for a few seconds, but then you came back to reality.

Illumi was expecting you to scream or call for help, but none of that happened, except for the screaming.

"AWESOME!" You screamed and Illumi was confuse, so he just stared in your e/c eyes.

"W-what did you say?" Illumi ask.

"I said awesome. Pretty sure vampires can hear even a whisper of a person, but why didn't you hear my scream?" You responded while going under his arm and putting your dirty clothes at the laundry.

After you do that, you went on your couch with a pillow and a blanket, then made yourself comfortable.

"Oh, by the way, how are you feeling?" You ask.

"What do you mean?"

"Your wounds silly."

"I'm a vampire, my wounds would heal."

"Oh... anyway, you could sleep on my bed. Goodnight... Illumi."

Illumi's POV

This girl is weird. She helped a stranger that could have killed or hurt her when she's asleep. And on top of that, she already knew I was a vampire, but she still let me stay in her apartment, and sleep on her bed? She's reckless.

I was about to say something to Y/n, but was interrupted by her soft, not so loud snore. I studied her face and at that time, I felt something... different. I don't know what it is because it was new, but I know one thing for sure. I'm going to find out what the new feeling inside me.

But what I don't understand from her is she 'let me' into her apartments when she already knew what I am. My thoughts were interrupted when a knock on the window was heard. I walk towards the window and saw Kalluto. I opened the window and Kalluto went it at ease.

"What?" I ask bluntly.

"Father wants you to find Kil right now." He replied and I nod.

"I will, but he would be hard to trace." 

"Understood." With that, he left.

So throughout the night, I made sure that no Vampires from the Chimera clan can follow my scent.

Normal POV

You were woken up by the sound of your alarm, and you lazily turned the alarm off, while thinking that you're going to get up at five minutes. 

"Oi! Wake up!" The voice of Illumi startled you and that's when you realize that he was in your apartment.

You shot your eyes open and sat up. You then notice that you were in your bed, not on the couch.

"Where *yawns* did you sleep?" You ask, still half sleep.

"I don't sleep." Was all Illumi said.

"Eh? How so?"

"I'm a vampire, remember." Then you remembered everything.

"Oh... right. Sorry, I just forgot."

"You don't have to apologize. Now get up and prepared for your job." Illumi commanded.

"Yes... sir." You smirk playfully and Illumi just stared at you with no emotions, so you just drop your smirk and pouted. "You're no fun."

So you did your daily routine and after that, you were ready.

"So uh, I guess you can stay here in the apartment till I come back?" You questioned instead of just saying it in a normal sentence.

"I'm going with you." His emotionless replied made you confuse.

"E-eh?" Was all you can get out.

"I'm going to make sure that you don't take another stranger in your apartment."

"But aren't you a stranger as well?" You raise an eyebrow and Illumi stared at you for a moment, thinking of something to say to what you just said. "Right?"

Illumi's POV

"I'm a vampire, remember?" I ask and I think she just came into a conclusion.

I have to protect her no matter what. Even if I have to give away my immortality.

Flashback (From last night)

I went out of the window of the apartment and covered my scent by using perfumes that Milluki gave to me. After I have done that, I felt a familiar presence so I landed on a building's roof.

"Kalluto, I thought you have left?" I ask without looking at the direction where Kalluto was.

He appeared next to me with a bored face, but I could tell that there's something in them.

"What is it?" I questioned with my usual facial expression.

"That girl." Was all he said while looking back at the direction where her apartment was.

I glance at his gaze then stared into his eyes.

"What about her?" I was getting annoyed by him not telling what was in his mind immediately.

"I am not quite sure, but I think..." He trailed off and I waited for him to continue.

He then sigh and close his eyes, then open it again but he was looking down the ground.

"I'm sorry, I just thought that she was the one." By that statement, I knew what he was talking about.

So I decided that from now on, whether she's the one or not, I will protect her until I find out if she is really the one. I mean, Kalluto was always right by his conclusion, but he wasn't sure this time, so I'm going to find out. 

If the Chimera clan find out about her, she will be in great danger so I have to be always watching over her to ensure her safeness. If they get to her first, Zoldyck clan will be in great danger, especially when Killua ran away. He was one of the best vampire we have.

End of Flashback

"Hello?! Earth to Illumi?! Are you still there?!" Y/n shouted while waving her hand on my face.

"H-huh? Oh, I'm fine." I said bluntly.

"You coming or not?" She questioned and I only nod for an answer.

I notice that she wasn't going to her work, but to another direction. I was about to ask, but then she immediately held my hand and drag me to who knows where, running. I look down at our hand and I felt the weird feeling again.

What is this girl doing to me?

That's when I realize that we already stop inside a forest. She was trying to catch her breathe and I was just staring at our hand. 

What is this feeling? Why am I feeling it?

She release my hand, which I didn't want her to do... wait, what am I thinking? Stop it! 

"What are we doing here?" I ask.

"I... ummm... I forgot that I don't have work today." She tapped her pointy fingers together.

She then put her hand together in a pleading way, then closed her eyes.

"Can I please have a piggy back ride and you do the vampire speed thingy?" She ask like a five year old while her eyes sparkled in hope.

"No." I replied bluntly and she pouted, which was cu- wait what?

"Awww, why not? I just want to experience flying cause I know that vampires can jump really high, so I want to try it out. What's wrong with it?" She questioned with a cu- I mean, annoying childish voice.

"Cause it's a no."

"You're no fun." She folded her arms together and leaned her back at a random tree.

Then, her eyes widen, as if an idea pop in her head. She looked at me and I just stared at her with my usual, emotionless expression. She then started climbing the tree that she just leaned on.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm... climbing... the... tree! What else do you think I'm doing?" She replied while she was struggling to climb the tree, since it looks like it's her first time.

"I know you're climbing, but why are you climbing?" I rephrase my question.

"Well, since you don't want me to experience flying, I'll climb this tree and jump off just to experience it." She smirk evilly while looking down at me.

"You'll... hurt yourself."

"Awww, does Illumi the emotionless care about me?" 

"No I don't."

"Then let's see about that." 

"What do you mean?"

"Well, let's make a bet. If you catch me when I fall, then you cared about me and you would let me go on your back and experience flying. If you don't catch me, then you don't care about me." 

"..." I watch as she gets to the top of the tree, which was only six foot tall.

"Then it's a deal!"

"I haven't even agree-" I was cut off by her jumping off.

Reader's POV

I didn't let Illumi finished his sentence. I'll just find out his answer with my fall. But it looks like it was one of the worst thing I have ever done. While I was falling, Illumi was just standing there, watching me without any emotions.

The ground was coming closer and closer to me and I'm having a doubt that Illumi won't catch me. I mean, I only jump off from six foot right? That's not that high but I was just making sure incase Illumi won't catch me.

I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, but instead of falling, I feel myself being lifted up and hit something soft. I shot my eyes open and found myself at the back of Illumi. He held my legs gently and I wrapped my hands around his neck, without choking him though.

He crouch down, then jumped up, making the both of us shot up the sky, flying! I was overwhelmed by the sight I saw because the sun was setting, so the sky's colour was pink, yellow, clue and a little bit of dark green.

My mouth shaped an 'o' and I was just taking in the sight in front of me. Soon, we fell down, but not that hard and Illumi landed down the ground like it was nothing for him. He look back at me.

"Happy? Now get down." He demanded and I frowned, but me being stubborn, I held on tightly.

"I want more." I leaned closer to him and whispered to his ears.

"Tch." Was all he said before he went for another jump.

He did it repeatedly and I like the feeling of it. I hugged Illumi's neck and smiled. This is the first time that I was really happy and I love the feeling of it. Then I remembered our bet.

He caught me even though I wasn't going to hurt myself. So that means, he... cares about me.

Illumi's POV

When Y/n hugged my neck, the feeling came back. Something was... I can't explain it but my tummy looks like it's... hungry? Or someone playing something in it cause it won't stop vibrating. My heart was beating fast and loud and... I think I feel... happy?

I secretly look back at Y/n, watching her beautiful h/c hair fly with the air and the smile on her face, she's... beautiful. Huh? Did I just said beautiful? Is she... my zing? No, you're not certain for sure. I cannot love someone. Not now, not ever! This has to stop.

Reader's POV

All of the sudden, Illumi went down on the top of the hill and release my leg, so I had no choice but to go down. I unwrapped my arms off him and hugged him from behind.

"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed happily.

But Illumi grabbed both of my hands and pushed me backwards, making me fall down the ground.

"Get your filthy hands off me!" He said in anger and I was really shock.

"W-wha..." I couldn't finish my sentence.

At that moment, Illumi realised what he had just done and at that very moment, I saw a bit of emotions in his eyes and he opened his mouth, but nothing came out and the emotions disappeared immediately and he also disappeared, leaving me on top of the hill, far from home, out of nowhere and it was getting dark.

"Illumi! Come back!" I called out but he was gone. "I don't know where I am..."

Tears started forming on my eyes and I let them out. I stood up slowly, grunting from the pain of him pushing me. I looked around and I really have no idea where I am, so I just started walking forward, while crying, even though I don't know where it leads me.

It was getting darker and darker, and on top of that, I was on my work clothes because I forgot that I don't have any job today, so I don't have any jacket and it was really cold.

Illumi, where are you? What ever did I do to make you angry like that? We were having fun right? Or maybe I'm the only one having fun. Is that why he's angry? He got annoyed of me?

Then his eyes flashes through my mind.

That eyes, I know there was emotion in them. That was the first time I saw it, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared. 

A noise snapped me out of my thoughts, and I looked around, scared, cold and lonely. The bush rustles and I could feel that there's someone out there.

"I-Illumi? I-is that you?" I ask afraid.

Maybe he went back for me... I hope it's him.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" A voice of an old man with a cranky voice said and it sounds like he was drunk too.

Three mens went out of the bush and they were holding a bottle of beer. They look scary and a pervert. Fear strike me and I stepped backwards.

"You lost little girl?" The other man ask.

"Y-yes I am..." I answered and my voice was shaking.

"Awww, the little girl is scared. Well you better be. Look at that body, we'll have fun with you." The last man licked his lip and it sent shivers down my spine.

I wanted to scream for help, but I'm sure that it's only the four of us were here in the forest.

"H-help..." I tried to scream but it came out as a whisper.

"No need to call help little girl, no one will help you because no one can hear you. So be good little girl and let us play with your body." The first man smirk creepily.

I started running away, but the second man grabbed my hand and pulled me down the ground.

"Don't run, it will be useless." He said and tears fell down like a waterfall.

"HELP!" I screamed at the top of my voice and the man who grab me slapped me really hard on the face, which really stings.

The third man started taking my clothes off but it happened so fast that no one knows what's coming. They all fell down the ground and I saw a needle on their head. A figure appeared and I recognize the long, dark purple hair.

"Y/n, are you alright?!" He ask and I could tell the worry in the tone of his voice.

Is this really him?

"Those bastards!" He growled and was about to kill them more when they're already killed, but I grabbed his wrist and he stop.

He look back at me with his eyes full of worried. 

"Illumi!" I exclaimed and swung my arms around his neck, while I cried on his chest. 

"Don't ever leave me please!" I beg.

He slowly stroke my hair, comforting me while his other hand wrapped around my waist.

Illumi's POV

I... I can't... I can't hold back the feeling anymore. I can't stay away from her anymore. I have to protect her no matter what, I'll be her protector. I will protect her with all of my life. I can't confirm if I love her, I don't want to confirm it yet. I'll just protect her for... she is the one.

"Don't worry, I won't anymore. I promise." Then I realize that I was... worried of her.

This girl the the first person who have made me feel... emotions...

After she finished crying, I let her go at my back again, then we returned at her apartment. She got ready for bed, then she looks at me, I was beside her window. She then walked slowly to me, and I just stood there emotionless, as usual, waiting for her to say something.

I thought that she was going to close the window, but she went on her tippie toes and gave a kiss on my cheek, making my heart race and my whole body on fire.

"Goodnight Illumi, and... thanks for saving my life back there." She thanked and tucked herself inside her bed.

Don't thank me, it was my fault why it happen.

The next day, it was her day-off again and this time, we went to a park, on the swing. I look like her baby-sitter, but I'm only following her to protect her. Nothing more, nothing less. We spent our time most at the park, then we ate and time to go back to the apartment.

While we were walking, Y/n suddenly pulled me by the wrist and ran somewhere, which I followed her by the same pace. I was about to ask where we are going when she stops in a green field and she held a finger on her lip as a sign to not make any noise.

Soon, fireflies started to appear and Y/n once again pulled me and we both stand at the middle, while the fireflies slowly fly around us. 

"Do you know how to dance formally?" She asks while tapping her pointy fingers together with a shy face and her gaze down the grass.

There was a moment of silence between us until I sigh and placed one of my hand around her torso and the other hand taking her hand. We then gracefully started stepping side to side. Then, she finally locked her eyes into my one, making the 'feeling' that I couldn't understand comes back to me.

Reader's POV

Now I know and it had been confirmed. I... I love Illumi. It just happens suddenly but whenever I'm around him, I feel safe and I always want to see him. In addition of that, my heart beats fast and butterflies appeared in my tummy. Yeah, I do love Illumi but... I'm not sure if he returns the feelings.

"Illumi..." I trailed off, still looking in his eyes.

"Hmmm?" He hummed in response.

"What... do you feel something?" I ask and he looked at me in confusion.

"What feeling?"

"You know, feelings where you feel... jealous, angry, confuse..." I stop at a mid-sentence, then continued.

"Love?" He widen his eyes for a moment, then he let go of my hands and stepped backwards.

"I... I don't believe in love." He commented.

"But... you should have felt it." I took a step forward and he distant away from me. 

"I told you, I don't believe in it."

"Ill-" Before I can finish my sentence, he screamed at me.

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DON'T BELIEVE IN IT SO WHY DON'T YOU JUST LET IT GO AND LET IT BE!" And with that, he disappeared.

----Mini Time Skip----

Illumi's POV

The next day, I followed her all the way to her work and it's like nothing happened from last nigh, which she was working as a waitress at *chosen restaurant*. I told her that I was going somewhere to get some fresh air, but all I'm doing now is hiding up the building's roof, which was opposite side of where she's working.

Reader's POV

I went inside *chosen restaurant* and place my things in my locker (Is that possible???) then went to the kitchen, to greet some of my friends.

"Yo Y/n! Always as early as ever." My best friend greeted me with a grin.

"I could say the same thing to you... Killua." I returned his grin.

"Well, I could see that Y/n is finally earlier than me." My other best friend said, whom just arrive.

"Still looking smart as usual... Kurapika." I complimented and he smiled genuinely.

And then the door bell rings, indicating that someone had entered the restaurant.

"I see everyone except Gon is here. He's always late." Bisky, my girl best friend stated.

"I AM HERE!" Gon's scream frightened Bisky, who was just in front of him.

BONK!

"Owie~ Why you do that Bisky-san?" Gon ask while rubbing the lump on his head.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to scare me from behind?!" Bisky exclaimed irritated.

"Ehehe, I... forgot?" Gon said cheekily, making Bisky anger more.

"Tch. Old hag." Killua stated and I started feeling sorry for him.

Bisky sent a punch on Killua, but for the first time, Killua dodged her attack, making Bisky stumble forward. All of our eyes were wide open at the recent event, and then we focused on Killua, who checked something outside the window

"A-aniki..." Was all he said before he looked at me.

Then all of the sudden, my visions started to mix up and I found myself at the back of Killua, who was... running, no, sprinting, but faster than sprinting. On top of that, I couldn't breathe so well. 

What in the world is going on?

And then the words that Killua said earlier rung in my mind.

'A-aniki...'

So Killua has a brother?

'I'm a vampire...' 

Illumi's sentence popped in my head.

So that means, Illumi is... Killua's brother! So... Killua is a vampire too? But why is he running away from him? And most of all, why is he taking me with him? What did I get myself into? What in the world is going on?

Killua might have notice that I was having a hard time to breathe, so he stop on one of the rooftops and I exhaled the air immediately.

"Sorry about that, I forgot." He apologise and I was still trying to catch my breathe.

"Wha... goi... on... he..." The words that I wanted to ask didn't go out exactly like I want them to be.

"No time for questions. Hold your breathe." He demanded.

"Bu..." I was cut off.

"Now!"

I immediately inhaled all the air and held my breathe, then he continued at Godspeed, not knowing whether I should confess or not. Sure Killua had been my friend for a long time now, but I never knew he was a vampire. 

Killua and Gon are just like my little brother, that's all we have been since before. They're like the little brother I never had. Since I don't have any siblings and my parents died when I was eight years old, Gon and Killua were my new family, including Bisky and Kurapika.

We stop again, but this time is under the tree. We stop so I can catch my breathe. I exhaled then inhaled for a few times, then held my breathe again and he continued on. 

Why is he running away from Illumi?

This time, he hasn't stop and I was having trouble holding my breathe for I knew sooner or later, I have to exhale. I tapped his shoulder and he look back at me then widened his eyes and finally stop.

I suck all the air I could get that it looks like I would run out of it.

"You okay?" He ask and I shot him a glare.

"How... would... I..." I breathed and he cut me off.

"Save it." He said and I could see that he has his guard up. "Damn it."

"Killua..." The voice of Illumi echoed around us and it send chills down my spine.

"Illumi..." Killua growled and this was the first time I saw him this angry.

"So, you knew." Illumi stated instead of asking.

Knew what?

"Yes I did." Killua said and I was getting more and more confuse.

What the heck is going on?

"But I won't let you have her! I had been protecting her for many years now." Killua added.

Protecting? Does he means me? But, protecting from where? Or who? I'm really confuse!

"Protecting for many years? What a joke, you can't protect her all by yourself." Illumi commented.

Killua let me down and he went in front of me, ready to defend from what's coming towards our way.

"Who said that I am alone?" Killua smirk and with that, we heard the bushes rustles and three figures came out.

"We're here for you Killua!" Gon cheered.

"Till the end of time." Kurapika added.

"Just like old times." Bisky smiled.

How did they got he- wait a minute, so this means that... they're a vampires too?!

"Why yes Y/n." Bisky giggled, as if reading my mind. "I'm from the Kruiger clan of vampires, Kurapika is from the Kurta clan of vampires and Gon is from the Freecs clan of vampires."

I am speechless at the moment for my best friends, had been VAMPIRES all the time!

"Apparently Zoldyck clan had been the most powerful vampires in all of the clans but since there was a group of vampires whom calls themselves Phantom Troupe, they match the skills of the Zoldyck clan." Kurapika explained while his face shows full of hatred at the mention of Phantom Troupe.

Zoldyck, Kurta, Kruiger, Freecs, clans, vampires and Phantom Troupe were making me dizzy by thinking about it.

"Illumi, what do you want from her?!" Killua questioned in anger.

"You already know Killua..." Illumi trailed off. "And I will take her whatever it takes. She's safer with me."

"Says who? We had been protecting her for a long time now without any of your help, and now you're just going to take her?" Gon clench his fist.

I was getting tired of the arguments so I butted in.

"Stop! I don't know what's going on or what's happening or any of this vampire clans but I want to know everything that you're talking about! And what's about me being the one?! What in the world is going on here?!" I screamed in frustration.

"The first time I met you, I knew you were the one." Killua said while locking his eyes into mine. "That is the reason why we stayed by your side and promised ourselves to protect you."

"In other words Y/n, you're the one that could save the Vampire clan from the Phantom Troupe who were heartless vampires that kill and steal from innocent people who were defenseless. They also attacked my clan and I was the very last one..." Kurapika explained and by each words, his eyes were turning scarlet.

"Kurapika..." Bisky placed a hand on his shoulder and Kurapika closed his eyes, then calmed down.

"But what do you mean by the one?" I questioned, desperate to know the answer, but I didn't show it.

 "You're special Y/n. You possess the power that no one can imagine. A power that match the Phantom Troupe and the Zoldyck clan. Once you had been turned into a vampire, you'll have those powers but for now, you're just an ordinary girl. The choice is yours, whether you want to turn into a vampire or not." Killua said seriously.

"But... why me? I mean, there's also other people out there, why me?" I look at both of my hands.

"Because you were born at the exact time of the total eclipse before. You are the one." Gon answered.

"But what if I'm not the one you're talking about? I can't be the one, I'm weak and... and..." I cannot continue the words that I wanted to say.

"Y/n, your parents were vampires too. They were the best vampires of the L/n clan, but they were killed by the Phantom Troupe clan." Kurapika said sadly.

"You're all wrong." A new voice said and everyone, except me, became alert.

"No way, t-they found us." Kurapika growled and his blue eyes were slowly turning light red.

"We are not the real enemy." A guy with the Saint Peter's Cross on his forehead and hair was perfectly styled backwards stepped out on the light.

"Chrollo..." There was a strong dark aura surrounding Kurapika as he deeply glared at the guy whom he just called Chrollo.

"We didn't kill her parents, it was the Chimera Ants who did it." Chrollo ignored Kurapika.

"But you killed my clan!" Kurapika charged towards Chrollo and another person, but this time was a girl with pink hair, went out and blocked Kurapika's attack.

"We're not here to fight, we're here to help." The girl stated but Kurapika put his right hand on his side and chains started to appear.

"You'll all die! I'll kill you all!" Kurapika screamed and the chains was about to hit the pink haired girl.

Normal POV

The chains was just one inch away from Machi's face when Kurapika stop it because of your scream. They all look to your direction, which they cannot see you anywhere.

"Where is she?!" Bisky ask.

"This way!" Killua and Gon both said at the same time.

"Right, Killua can follow the energy of someone while Gon can follow of someone's scent." Bisky sweat-drop.

"Kurapika, you have to trust us." Machi stated and Kurapika glared at her eyes.

"Why should I?" Kurapika growled.

"Because... you need our help." Machi said and the rest of the Phantom Troupe revealed themselves.

(BTW, FEITAN IS MY MOST FAVORITE IN ALL OF THEM!!!)

Bisky place her hand on Kurapika's shoulder and Kurapika looked at her.

"I also don't trust them, but she was right on one thing, we need their help. They're as strong as the Zoldyck clan and we need as much as vampires ally we could get." Bisky stated and Kurapika hesitated, before he puts his chain out.

Soon, they all followed Killua and Gon, who were following Y/n, that they don't know who got her.

Reader's POV

Someone took me, someone who's strong and really fast, maybe even faster than Killua. I opened my eyes and saw a person who have butterfly wings and antennae, blonde hair, gold eyes and was wearing formal clothes was carrying me. One thing for sure, I cannot move, nor talk, nor shout, nor scream. I was... paralyze.

Someone please... help me...

"We finally captured the one. Master Meruem would be proud of us." Was the last thing he said before black spots appeared and...

Blackout...
