The man let's his sister and parents off when we reach the city "ill take them to the place from here you guys prepare for the next group of applicants" he waves goodbye and we do to before walking off to the city streets.

We gawk at the busy streets full of activity, kids running through playgrounds, men shopping for their sweat hearts holding all the items they want, old timers eating at local cafés talking about the days toils.

We reach a big building with see through windows and instantly assume its the building we need to be and walk inside, each of us meet a woman in the table ahead "hello do you have and appointment?" She smiles amd we all look at the man, he just looked at us not a word escaped his lips.

Lehona was the first to talk "ok lets just cut the crap, were hear for the hunter exam" she taps impatiently waiting for an answer from a baffled clerk. She blinks and laughs "this is a law firm ma'am" Lehona looks at us and I just sigh turning to our guide "this isn't where were supposed to be are we?" He laughs and nods his head.

Lehona laughs and trys to jump at him but Little Jimmy grabs her before she could do anything "you made a fool out of me" Little Jimmy looks at the person he was holding back "your making a fool out of yourself actually, were still in the building" she looks around and asks him to drop her.

We walk back out of the law firm and he looks at us "I couldn't resist making that joke in letting you walk into a random building like that" I expect a long walk but he walks a few feet to an older looking restaurant. He gestures to the building "this is as far as I can take you im just going to place your order.

We walk inside and a small bell rings, the cheif turns and looks at us, "hello what would you like?" Our guide clear his throat and says "four orders of the special" the cheif and the guide share a silent nod.

"And how do you want it prepared?"

"Well done"

He leads us to the back room "ok we'll find you a seat in the back room" he hands us a number between the each of us, I get 234, Lehona gets 145, Little Jimmy gets 378, and Fu gets 455. I shrug and find that its a sticker and put it on my chest. He looks at us with a smile "see you all and don't walk into any buildings you dont know about" he laughed walking away and shuts the door behind himself.

I laugh, he says not to do that but the ironic part is thats how we found them in the first place. The room shifts and Fu says "elevator thats clever we must be coming close to the actual test area" the wall opens behind us and turns and were faced with hundreds of different others.

They pay no attention to us and we walk to a corner of the tunnel spending time to talk amongst ourselves and eating another loaf of bread because we didn't get the special that was promised. Someone walks up to us a, heavyset man with a blue shirt and a napsack stuffed to the brim with soda.

He smiles "hey you guys new? I am to the names Tonpa" I look at him cautious because you can't trust someone who walked up out of the blue acting nice without a single of is knowing his true motives. Jimmy smiles "nice to meet you Tonpa" he shakes his hand and we hear a crunch, Tonpa screams holding his hand shaking it.

He laughs "no worrys a strong guy like you, sometimes strength get the best of you"

He talks to us for a about 20 minutes about what we did before we joined the exams and future goals if they survived the test to come. He pulls out a few sodas for each of us and smiles, at this point I understood what he was doing, "heres to a new friendship" but Lehona and Fu pass on the drinks giving them to Jimmy and I sit there and say to him "you might not want those big guy?" He sticks his tongue out at me and downs them all in the first few seconds of opening them.

I look at Tonpa and say "hey guy can I talk to you about something?" He nods and I lead him over away from the rest of my group, I stare at him blankly and says "be honest how many times have you actually taken this test man" he looks at me knowing hes caught "that obvious?" I nod switching our unopened drinks while he shakes his head.

We open our drinks and take our first drinks "wow this is pretty good, nothing like this back where I call home" he laughs and pats my shoulder "definitely has that kick I like" I laugh to and talk for a bit stalling for time until he was finished with his can.

I crush mine under my foot and he smiles "want another?" I shake my head and walk away "im good and next time you try to use laxatives on me, try to hide the pill bottle where we can't see it, have a good exam Tonpa" he looks back at the can and curses my way as I smirk.

I tricked someone who was about to sabotage our attempt, but the bad part is breaking the news to Little Jimmy that he just downed three cans of pure "laxi pop" and was in a world of horrible suffering.
