Jimmy didn't take the news well, not just that he drank laxative, but also his stomach was feeling the full force of the 'soda'. He runs twords the nearest door and knocks on it almost collapsing it if someone didn't open it.

He explained the situation and the man just laughed "the rookie crusher strikes again!" Suddenly Tonpa runs to them doing the same dance asking the same question, the man just lost it at that point. Jimmy turns to us "you'll wait for me right?" I nod and talk to Lehona and Fu for a few moments.

"Good thing I passed on that!" Lehona laughs and I told them I switched sodas with 'the rookie crusher' we shared a laugh and a man walked in front of the large group of us and spoke up "hello all I will be your guide on this leg of the test, just follow me and we will make it to the next leg soon" he turns and starts walking waving his arms back in forth.

We turn and look to where Jimmy was using the facilities "we have to continue on" Lehona says waving us on but I stood thinking we should wait but again the captains advice get to me and I shake my head knowing it isn't right but walk the way of the croud.

We follow the croud with a smooth walm but soon the front of the group picks up speed so we start jogging quickly to catch up. I wipe the sweat that began to drip from my forehead "how long is this tunnel" someone says next to me, I didn't know his name.

Then everyone starts to dead sprint as the man ahead of us just makes long strides making the rest of us look like scrubs "I dont know how much more of this I can take" the same person says panting up a storm.

Two hours later

I was running on fumes at this point of the run and those around me had already collapsed, Lehona and Fu where still running alongside myself but were in the same shape as I was, sweating and almost zero energy. I wasn't, wanting to do my power now but it was as good a time as any to do so "I'm sorry guys im going to try my power" they both look at me shaking there heads, I only smirk and roll up my sleeve.

On my wrist was my birth mark, a star, and tap each point individually and whisper "give me speed, give me strength, to complete my task I ask of you" the star glows a dark red and I feel the power shift throughout my nervous system.

I ball my hands into fists and smile "all right!" and I run past my friends and to the beginning of the line, I bump into a few people and finally run into a man with a suitcase. He looks at me and curses "hey buddy watch where your going!" He hits me across the head and I stare at him trying to punch him but something catches my shirt by the neck and throws me to the ground.

I stood up looking at the culprit to see a kid in a green outfit, spikey hair, and a fishing pole, my power had worn out at this point so I couldn't do much to help it. I stood and started running, the fight put us behind a bit, we were in my friends position in the mass of applicants.

The kid looks at me angrily and I bow my head "I apologize for how I acted, I wasn't in control of myself" that wasn't a lie either in that state I was able to fight for a time without using any stamina but the drawback was I was susceptible to rage easier then before, so that hit tipped me off the hinge.

I look at my friends and then explain what I know about my skill, which honestly wasn't as much as anyone else, I only knew that I had this skill since I was born and I knew the words whenever I thought about using the skill but never when I wasn't.

They all look at me and know why it happened and started introductions Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika. Having more people to talk to things won't seem to be as bad as it should be.

Another two hours later

I had a boost of energy from my "Infinite Boost" as I called it and I started talking to Lehona and Fu  on their opinions on Gon and his friends.

"They seem ok Im not sure about that Leorio character he seems so sure of himself" Lehona says but just shrugs "but besides that he and the others seem ok"  I cant disagree with that point.

I spot the light at the end of the tunnel and look back at the two "I'll be seeing you guys in a bit" I sprint faster up the steps twords the end, I wasn't the only one picking up speed, Gon and someone with a skateboard raced up further ahead.

I jump few steps a time until I caught up with the pair and smiled at them "see you guys at the end" the look at me and laugh easily keeping pace, they definitely had some good stamina. We reach the end and I stop raising my hands into the air triumphantly and Gon and his friend argue about whos buying whos lunch until Gon made a compromise.

"How about you buy my lunch and I buy yours" he seems to think thats fair.

The rest of the applicants catch up behind us and Gon's friends and mine gather together and take a serious breather. Our guide starts to tell us of this swamp and the dangers of it, the name was the Trickster Swamp that are full of dangerous animals that will trick and go for the kill. Lehona laughs "bring it on!" a few of the people in the croud chear along with her not scared of the challenges.

There is a scream in the side of the tunnel and a man holds a beast with the face of our guide "he's not your guide I am, hes a man faced ape" I turn looking at him not sure what to believe, but then something hits him innthe head and chest with a sharp thunk I notice there playing cards and the man falls dead.

The beast sits up looks around and runs away making noises of fright, I turn and our guide also was holding a few of cards between his fingers, I look at a guy with a playing card outfit style "I thought so I assume each person directing the test is either a former or current Hunter and if the man was able to defend with ease then we would know you are the fake" our guide nods "I understand your logic but if you attack me again I'll have you thrown out of the exam" the man nods and I ask Gon "whos that?" He looks at me and says "he isn't someone you want to mess with thats for sure" I knew he was bad news.
