I wake a few minutes (I think) later and Haru was already up cleaning and sharpening her sword, I scratch my head "hey how long was I out?" She just focuses on her sword holding up two fingers. "Two hours? Feels longer but never mind it looks like everyone is getting ready to go" she nods sitting up onto her knees, clasping her hands together, mumbles something, amd sheaths her sword. I help her up and then she looks at me and smiles "ok lets go" we start to run with the croud finding ourselves keeping with Gon and his group of friends again.

The fog begun to thicken in front of us, Gon leads his friend with the skateboard ahead to not loose the croud as Kurapika and Leorio hug back thinking it was best to stay with the bulk of the crowd, it didn't matter it was the same destination either way.

Soon I lost track of everyone around us, including Fu and Lehona, but still had Haru at my side and Leorio and Kurapika in front. We hear screams to our side but all I see is people holding there faces as a puff of something came from a mushroom, I didn't know what it was (Claymore Mushrooms). Haru looks at me and says "we should help them" Leorio only shakes his head "no use whats to help if we got caught in the swaft of that junk we'd be in the same boat" she frowns but I reassure her that he was righ.

More screams are audible behind us as we turn to find floating.....strawberries? Suddenly a giant head comes down and trys to take us in a single bite, we are lucky to dodge out of the way. Haru is first  to react by running up the giant turtles neak and throwing her blade through its head, she then as it falls flips and lands gracefully onto the marshy ground.

Leorio laughs "damn if only you weren't dating this loser" he points at me and we both hit him one on the head, "thats not funny!" We both yell he rubs the bumps on his head and laughs nervously. I hear the instructor's voice beckoning us forwar, I point twords the sound and get everyone moving, we all begin running again. The voice repeats the same sentence and I spy a bird in the air saying it, I look at everyone and scream "guys its just a bir..." I fall down a cliff barely able to turn and grab onto the ledge.

I hoist myself upward and everyone was looking down not paying any mind to my fall, I look and see what drew the attention, the cliff lead to a pit of sharp spikes and on them where dozens of other applicants of our exam.

"Ok that was way to close to call, I almost a seish kebab" I joke and Haru hits me in the shoulder crying "dont do that to me again!" I pull her in for a quick hug and promise. We turn the other direction and make our way trying to make heads or tale of this thick fog we hear argument in the fog ahead and run into a few applicants surrounding the man Gon warned to steer clear of.

"There's no way we can keep you in the exam alive Hisoka, we already failed, but at least we can give the pleasure of tsking you out first" the lead man of the group surrounding Hisoka says brandishing a spear. Hisoka only pulls out a card and smiles "ok if that's the way you want it to be then how's about I be your examiner? " they take the hint charging and in one swoop everyone falls to the ground dead leaving the head of the attack shivering in fear.

He backs away crying for mercy but doesn't get far, with a solid thunk, the card is in bedded into his forehead killing him before another word escaped his lips. He looks back at us and says "Hows about you four? Care to play examiner?" He smiles at us again.

Kurapika says "we won't be able to beat him, even as a group, when I say go we run" I stare at him and think he's lost it, were definitely stronger then him in a group so why not strike while the irons hot? Hisoka walks twords us slowly and Kurapika says "Now" we each choose a different area to run leaving the insane man behind us. I stop myself and stare at him, Haru turns and tells me to keep going, I look at her and smile "this isn't my style to run when I have a chance to beat and aponent, not when I was defending a friend and definitely not now" she looks my way "you'll be killed!" I just look at her and she shakes her head "fine but im coming to back you up" I laugh telling her I expected nothing less.

We walk back his way and find Leorio returning from his direction as well he looks at me "didn't feel like turning your back to him either?" I nod and he returns it with newfound respect for myself and vise versa. Kurapika screams for Leorio and spys us, he spurts a curse out but joins Leorios side. Leorio charges at Hisoka and he dodhes going for a neak hit. Haru stops him by intercepting the blow with her swords blade, I jump next to him and swing my axe but he ducks down out of harms way.

He throws Haru back but she jumps right back into the frey once more with the same result, I stand looking at her she is cut slightly from the several time she is thrown back, I look at her asking if shes ok she nods in response. I lead in for another attack but move away when something red moves in between me and Hisoka. I turn to see Gon back with his fishing pole ready for a fight, I question why he came back "he had every opportunity to leave us behind so why is he back?" I think not sure of the answers. He swings the pole and Hisoka dissipates in a puff of smoke "thats cute, come back to save your friends? " he appears behind Gon, he swings again missing.

I look at his attempts with fear "how are we able to hit him with what he's doing" I say to myself and Leorio runs to Hisoka again screaming "im not done with you yet" he gets knocked down and out when Hisoka lands a blow to Leorios chin. Gon trys even harder to his Hisoka and I stare at my wrist "I might have to use the Infinite Boost" Haru looks at and nods "if it means helping Gon im up for it" I nod taping each end of the star "give me speed, give me strength, complete my task I ask of you!" I feel the power flow into my veins, they begin to turn a shade of dark blue my eyes turn purple just as my hair color. She smiles at me and says "very handsome, I mean before but now your glowing" I smirk and use the power and charge at Hisoka taking him off guard.

I land a blow to his stomach, throwing him back a few meters "very interesting indeed" even Gon is taken back by the transformation. Hisoka jumps back throwing a few cards, I raise my arms up and they stick into my skin, I use my hands to pull each one out they draw blood but no enough. I try for another charge but he moves out of the way and I run directly into a tree, he laughs "I would be a pretty good bull fighter with that dodge" I don't focus on him anymore because in my state any little thing could tip me into a blind rage and the results aren't always pretty.

I unload my rage onto a tree picking it from its roots and throw it into a few others taking a huge chunk and clearing it, my power fades and I collapse onto the ground. He looks at all of us "very entertaining show from all of you" he claps his hands "you all pass" he picks Leorio up from the ground and walks away. I eventually gain back my strength and stand up walking to Haru, Gon, and Kurapika "were did he take Leorio?" They only shrugged, Gon suddenly says "hey I can follow the smell of his cologne we all follow him as he follows the smell.

Gon and Kurapika take the front as me and Haru take the rear she looks at me amd says with a disappoined frowm "you have to control that power of yours it could get someone hurt or worse" I lower my head down disappointed at myself to "I know we can find a way at some point" Gon asks Kurapika why he said we all passed even with Leorio being knocked out.

"He is a man of great skill striving to be better, and that means he has to find people who fit his bill to call equle or better apponents to give him a fair or tedious fight, we all seemed to fit and may be seeing him again" Gon then says he felt scared to be staring down Hisoka but something in him deep down wanted to face the fight head on. I nod "I felt the same seeing him easily dodge your atracks, I knew he was strong but im, were, not weak either" I generalized the entirety of us together facing him "I think where all capable of taking him on individually and still coming on top" Gon nods understanding but Kurapika wasn't looking so sure.

That entire situation left more questions them it answered.
