After taking Ettelbruck it's now Christmas and right now a whole battalion of tanks are taking it with a few infantry soldiers.

As of right now they are entering a city Mary's Angel is on the road with the command tank on the left as a regular Sherman as another Sherman which is a firefly.

Izuku: so this is it huh?

Shoto; what do you mean?

Izuku: we are heading to Bastogne from here that's what I mean.

Ejiro: there's Germans that hid up there with snow terrain

Shoto: nothing can handle this bad boy here

Izuku: we leave that for the flyboys right now we take care of what's left after they finish them off.

Command tank: *radio* all tanks prepare to stop on my command we got air support coming in to soften up the main buildings.

As all tanks hold for air support as the the planes came and bombed them as it took awhile for the bombings  to stop and soon everything had died down.

Command tank:*radio* alright all tanks move out at full speed ahead

As all tanks started to move after the lead tank.

Shinso: you think the flyboys got 'em all

Izuku: I sure as hell hope they did

Soon after a Sherman got destroyed by a panzerschreck from a German who was hiding and soon multiple started coming out and tried to destroy them. Soon after none of the Germans were able to hit them Sherman's as some got blown to pieces and some got bullet holes in their bodies.

Izuku: damn kraut *radio* 4th infantry do you copy

As a static just appeared as Izuku looks at it as it was sitting there just of burning as it looks completely destroyed.

Izuku: damn I wonder how their mothers would react to their sons dying including their wives.

Shoto: we gonna end up like that if we are not fucking careful.

Izuku: I know

Command tank:*radio* 5th armor your gonna be left if you don't pay attention.

Izuku: *radio* apologies for that.

As they continued another Sherman got destroyed due to a landmine that was buried in the snow. And soon they all are set on the hill.

Izuku:*radio* a lot of field positions in this field are we gonna return fire sir?

Command tank: *radio*confirm I need 5th armor to take out all kraut armor it looks like it's gonna be a pincer movement.

Izuku:*radio*copy that we'll make sure that your guys are safe

As all tanks pushed forward as as Izuku tank crew went on ahead and took out all the panzers that was operational and destroyed them and soon after they got done they returned back to the tank column. As they continued pushing forward the firefly that was next to Izuku tank got destroyed by a anti tank gun soon after all tanks but Izuku crew pulled back.

Izuku: crew look for the anti tank gun that took out the Sherman.

Crew: copy that

Soon after the Sherman was now facing sideways as the head of the Sherman was looking for the anti tank gun. Soon as the Sherman saw the flak gun that destroyed the Sherman was there and just before they was about to destroy it the infantry killed the crew as the tank crew watched them as they provided cover fire for them as they set charges for them and soon after it gotten destroyed.

Command tank:*radio* 5th armor flyboys are having trouble due to the flak gun keep supporting the infantry units.

Izuku:*radio* copy that..... Denki drive us back I think I saw one before the anti tank gun.

Denki: copy

As he drove back and looked for the flak gun until Izuku found it.

Izuku: Denki hold

As he held the tank and now they gave out support for the German forces that was defending the flak gun until it they were all dead. Soon after the infantry vaulted over and went towards the flak gun and destroyed it. Soon after it got destroyed Izuku crew rejoined the tank battalion and soon a panzer tank started showing itself.

Izuku: aw hell Shoto Ejiro put rounds into that damn panzer.

Both: copy

Just as the panzer came out and destroyed the wall which gave the allies a way to go threw to the other side of the wall and soon enough it got destroyed by Izuku crew.

Command tank:*radio* all tanks we are going threw the forest to continue taking this city.

As the command tank went threw the forest followed  by what's rest of the tank column which dwindled to 5 now. As the Sherman's made it threw the the forest on the other side there was a river bank which had a bridge. Little did they know is that there's a tiger tank waiting for them to come threw the bridge.

Command tank:*radio* Bridge ahead we are gonna cross single file only command is taking point cover me

Izuku: I got a bad feeling about this

Just as the command tank got on the other side soon they were met with a tiger bullet that made Denki stop the tank as now the 4 tank column stopped due to seeing the the command tank being destroyed.

Izuku: shit it's a damn tiger tank Denki back us up I saw another bridge down the way damn kraut hot a damn tiger tank dig in that damn building over there.

Shoto: damn kraut there's nothing I hate more them fucking cowards hiding behind buildings.

Just as Denki aligned the tank for the next bridge and drove as the rest of the Sherman's followed. Along the way panzer tanks are trying to stop them from trying to destroy the Tiger tank and they got lucky and hit one before it got destroyed by omw of the Sherman's. Now that all the panzer tanks got destroyed Izuku crew were the first to get past the second bridge.

Izuku: ok we are across let's find that tank and get the bridge secured

Just after Izuku said it they found the tiger tank that was responsible for destroying the command tank.

Izuku: Ha! Tiger

With just one shot they aimed for the head of the tiger and fired at it destroying it as the tiger exploded like fireworks as the head of the tiger blew up in the air and landed next to the tank that was destroyed.

Izuku: finally the race to Bastogne is secured seems like we are having a Merry Christmas after all.

Crew: Amen to that

As now the tank of 3 are now driving past the destroyed tiger with the infantry soldiers making remarks of the destroyed tiger saying "that what it gets for going against the best" or  "this tank is an angel to all Sherman's" or "tigers and king tigers worst nightmare". After a while ally forces came and saw the command tank destroyed and the General of the army had someone get a scoop Sherman and had it pushed the destroyed command tank out of tue way so that more armor could get threw. Right now Izuku is going to General Geroge for his next mission.

Izuku: General sir Lt. Tank commander Izuku Midoriya reporting for my next mission.

General George: Ah Izuku good timing there are 2 things I want to tell you first of all since my commanding tank is destroyed you will be my new commanding tank congratulations and for my second you will be relaxing for awhile you been doing a lot of missions please relax I don't want to run you to the ground.

Izuku: copy that and thank you sir for the crew promotion I will let my crew know that we are the commanding lead from here on out.

General George: thank you and before you leave how is the firefly for you and the crew?

Izuku: sir I just want to tell you that she is perfect for us but um

General George: you can speak your mind Tank Lt.

Izuku: I don't know how many you lost but we lost a firefly today on the way here.

General George: *sighs* I know but they are not the only ones I lost so far thank you for caring for them and those we lost. Our fireflies maybe be the Tigers and King Tiger worst nightmare but that doesn't make them indestructible as well you and the crew are very lucky to make it all the way here.

Izuku: well sir we are the best you have ever we won't let you down.

General George: that's good to hear and by the way here you got a sugar report from you and the crew family.

As Izuku took it and nods then he left going back to his tank crew.

Izuku: alright ladies I got good news and here's your sugar report.

As he gave them their letters as they all caught it.

Ejiro: what's the good news Midobro?

Shinso: yea it must be important if you say that.

Izuku: well General has given us the led tank column meaning we are now the command tank since our commanding tank got destroyed.

As the crew cheered for now being the commanding tank. After they celebrated  they read their letters from their family.

Midoriya family letter

     Dear Izuku
It's been a while since we wrote you a letter we are glad that you are doing fine in the army. So far everyone in the family is doing great until one day your ex girlfriend has been trying to come back to us and get what your fiancé Momo has broke the girl as she told us that the both of you are having twins and she showed us the pictures of the both of them. We hope that the war is nearly over as we are waiting for you at home.

After Izuku read the letter he was happy to hear that Momo is doing well with his family and that kendo got put in her place by his fiancé. As he wrote back as the day progressed and that the war is almost over and told them that they are now the commanding tank lead due to his previous tank leader got destroyed with his crew as he felt bad for them.

That's the end of this chapter only like a few more chapters like 1 or 2 of them and soon this story will be over.
