<<Mono Third person P.O.V>>

Mono heard guns blazing to his left,then right-Actually Mono could hear them everywhere. 

Unfortunately this time he was one of the few to be chosen to hunt for today.Mono wasn't surprised however since Six,partner and best friend,told him earlier today.

Mono wasn't a fan of bloodshed,however,but weirdly he also liked hunting,which made Six question him sometimes about that since he hunts but doesn't like blood.

Mono hid behind a bush,bigger than him,and he was tired,really tired.Especially since Six snuck out from her house then into his,and talked late at night till morning,It was a weird habit for both of them,and a really bad one since this of course was affecting his title as a hunter.

The sun blazed,almost burning him,as his shotgun began burning his hands and fingers,his back and forehead sweated,it almost felt like hot liquid dripping down everywhere in his body.Damn,he should've listened to Mom..But he liked trenchcoats,also his beloved paper bag over his head.

Mono opened fire at the vampires,who were shooting arrows and sharp spears at them.He spotted a flaming arrow heading toward him,and quickly ran out of the bush,then hiding behind a boulder he spotted.Mono watched the arrow hit the bush he was once hiding, now catched up in flames.

Mono then felt something tap behind his shoulder,and he quickly turned around,grabbing his knife under his trenchcoat.

"Woah,watch it there!!"Six said as she eyed the knife Mono was holding.She was holding her gun tightly to her chest.

Mono sighed in relief,but gave her an alarmed look."What the-Six?!?You're not supposed to be here..!"Part of him was mad,but the other half felt relieved and glad since Mono did miss talking to her.

Six rolled her eyes and cocked her gun,shooting at the vampires.Six spotted a spear heading towards her and she took cover behind the boulder.

"Wanted to pay a little visit!!"Six yelled over the sound of gunshots.Mono facepalmed at her as he put his knife back inside his trenchcoat.

Mono realized that Six wasn't supposed to be equipping a gun,only when she was ordered to hunt.

He sighed."Don't tell me you-"

"Yes,I stole it..So what?!"Six said,surprisingly managing to cross her arms with that huge shotgun she's carrying.Mono gave her a 'WTF six' look.Six didn't really notice since Mono was wearing a huge paper bag over his head.But with two dark,empty holes.Speaking of that..

"You should stop wearing that dumb paper bag,boi."Six teased Mono,poking the paper bag.Mono rolled his eyes in annoyance as he reloaded his shot gun,and fired it,poking out the boulder.The shot gun had a lot of power,making Mono jump back everytime he shoots this thing.And his wound hurt.

You see,a Few days back,Six and Mono hanged out at the moonshine secretly,while leaving,Mono heard barking noises.He decided to investigate it,ignoring Six's warnings.He knew the forest very well,and it was just barking..Nothing bad could've happened..Right?

Wrong.

The thing,whatever it was,bit him hard,going far as to cutting the flesh open.Mono's arm stung,alot.But stupidly kept it as a secret.He didn't want Six to worry,or to think it was a vampire bite,and it certainly wasn't a werewolf.It was just a dog..Besides werewolves are exctinct right?The last one to get caught and killed was millions of years ago.

He had to stitch it silently,but oh boy did that hurt.

Six snapped at him.

"Uhh..Mono?You alive?Hello???"

Mono shook his head,rubbing his hand over the paper bag in frustration.Mono also couldn't hear anything,just birds chirping,and people chatting.

"Wha-are we still-?"

Six slapped him over his paper bag,making Mono grunt in pain.

"You idiot,we're done,but we killed some of those 'Things'..Six said,looking over at the other hunters who were chosen to hunt for today.They all came out of their hiding places and went to check out the kills they made.

"For your information,it's not you.You're not even supposed to be here,let alone steal a gun!"Mono said as he stood up and walked away behind the boulder,dragging Six with him.if they found out Six was here,well..She'll definitely have to clean up the 'business' the horses made.Even lower her from the ranks.

"Hey!I'm 15 years old!I can clearly take care of myself!"Six said,growling at Mono,who was heading towards the Hunter's village-where all the hunters and civilans lived.Where they also lived."Nope,you are still young,and i'm older than you,I should be keeping an eye on you."Mono said.

"What the?Don't you trust me?!"Six exclaimed.

Mono rolled his eyes in annoyance."I do trust you,just not the things you do."

Six laughed."Name it then."

Mono shrugged."Break rules,steal,underage drink,fight people,vape,sneak out-

"Wait-You sneak out too!!!!F*cking goody two shoes.."Six murmured the last part.

"And curse,alot"Mono added.

"UGH!"Six yelled.

"Your parents told me to keep an eye on you Six,And I'm your best friend,so-"

"Adoptive parents."Six corrected him.Mono rolled his eyes.

"It's still the same thing,and we're here!"Mono said,spotting the tall statue of Le'Bell Domas,the First hunter to almost wipe out the entire Vampire race.(Props to you if you know what this is based on)

Well almost.

"Ok can you let me go now?!"Six said,tugging her arm off Mono's grip.

Mono gave her a 'Are you sure'?'Look.

Six noticed the long stare and frowned."..I'll get in trouble if I don't meet Mom!!"

Mono released his grip on her,and Six ran straight to the village.

Mono followed,running towards the village.

The sound of birds chirping and chattering cleared Mono's mind as he walked past shops.He was heading towards Two's house.It wasn't long from here,so that sure was a good thing.

Mono spotted a figure running towards him,and he squinted under his paper bag to get a closer look.

'Oh no,Oh no please don't tell me-'"Hey Mono!!"Eughhh...

Mono sighed as Bread kid hugged him.He was one of those people who you think at first glance are cool,but actually are retarded and stupidly funny.Mono didn't really mind him though, but this dude is just annoying.How are girls attracted to him anyway?

"Heyyy Bargainer.."Mono murmured as bread Kid stepped back,smiling.

"GUESS WHAT!"Bread kid yelled,but not enough to attract attention,which Mono was relived.Bread kid squealed in excitment,this made Mono really wanna sink into the ground.

"Oh,what is it?"Mono said.He just wanted to go to Two's house,that's all.

"I turned 16!!!Ya know what that means!!"Bread kid said,winking.

Oh yeah,this dude was really dirty.Really dirty.

"Ew,Really?"Mono said."Where did you celebrated your birthday anyway?"

"In Two's place?Why?"Bargainer asked.

Mono gave him a weird look.Why was he celebrating his birthday there anyway?Then he remembered about two.

"Wait,Have you seen Two?Cassidy told me that she was inside her house..?"

Bread kid thought,then his eyes lit up."Oh!Two's out hunting with her selected group right now!"

Damn it.

"...Ok then,well that sucks."Mono murmured.

"Why do you have a shotgun anyway?Selected to hunt..?"Bread Kid said,looking behind Mono.Mono gave him a look of confusion before realizing that he didn't return it to the weapon shack,and the shot gun had been attached behind his back this whole time.

"Ah Sh*t!"Mono loudly cursed.How could he forget?!

"OHHHH MONO CURSED!!!"Bread Kid yelled loudly.

This time,the yell caught some attention,which Mono noticed.He immediately shushed Bread Kid.

"Anyway-catch you later BK!"Mono nervously said as he began running to the weapon shack.
