Fiore's Hunt.

Dijon gulped. Him, Scarlet and Lapis were heading to Fall City for a mission. It had been a week since he had arrived and he had finally gotten used to the other rangers. But now he had to get used to the fact that there was more. They arrived as something blurred around Lapis.

"Lapis! Percy's trying to kill me!" Lapis shot a glare at Scarlet.

"Thin ice."

"Look who's talking."

Dijon instantly stopped his motion to gain some distance before looking at the Fall City Base. He could do this... right? He trusted his instincts and went over while the others got into an argument. He went in quietly and paused. Two people looked over.

"You part of the Ringtown rangers?" He nodded. The male stood up. "My name's Joel. I'm the base leader here."

"Dijon. I just transferred here." Joel smiled as the female went over.

"This is Aria. She's the Top Ranger here." They shook hands. "Where's the rest of your team?" He went to answer when a shout hit the air.

"LISTEN UP, GO SIBLINGS!"

"LADIES FIRST, STAR GAZERS!" Aria looked at the ceiling.

"I'm not going out there. Not this time. We have business to do." He smiled.

"Then I'll go. You stay here with Dijon until I hopefully split them up." She nodded as the base leader went out. Dijon stayed quiet as Aria smiled.

"So... Dijon..." Oh shit. "Do you have any goals being a ranger?" He slowly nodded.

"I'm actually hoping to join the Top Rangers." She hummed.

"Join the team I'm in? Impressive goal." He smiled as Joel came in dragging the other two.

"I still have another round with him."

"Lies."

"You two can fight later. We have needed business to do."

"Yeah... ripping some musician's heads off."

"Hey!" Aria growled.

"Scarlet, we can fight them later. We have another threat in the air."

"Aria, who can be more threatening than the master of music themselves?"

"I swear..." Joel grabbed a paper from his desk.

"I'm two seconds away from sending you two back and seeing if Dijon wants to solo." The redhead went pale at his words. The other two held a glare before sighing. "Better. Now to the situation. Someone has attacked the factory."

"Are you sure it's not the Go Siblings?" Lapis looked at the ceiling upon Scarlet's words.

"Beings that Tiffany was the one that alerted us?" Lapis chuckled at the sound that his partner made. "Are you just finding reasons to blame them?"

"Not yet..." She sighed. "You want us to shut it down?"

"And find the culprits. Some Fall City Rangers and Wintown Rangers are waiting to assist you. Aria will be joining you guys." Lapis's face went pale.

"Can I... just... Stay on the side lines?" Aria facepalmed.

"I will not attack you, Lapis. I'll keep someone at bay." Scarlet whimpered lightly. "Shall we?"

^*^

Dijon frowned as Scarlet hummed.

"No lights? Well here come the ghosts." Dijon panicked.

"G-ghosts?" Lapis let a nervous laugh out.

"I think that's why we were paired up like this. I can scare them off with sound, Aria can get the areas lit up, Scarlet knows how to navigate past them with ease..." Dijon gulped.

"And I'm dead weight."

"Nonsense. You were put in here for a reason. Let's go."

Dijon huffed as they went to break in. They were good until they clashed with the culprit, who used Muk to grab them. Dijon was able to avoid and capture his attacker while the others weren't as lucky. What could he say? It wasn't a ghost, so he wasn't too scared.

"Look who I grabbed..." They looked over as a woman in pink went over. Dijon stayed quiet. "Oh? Someone got out... hm..." She sighed. "Infernape!"

Scarlet and Lapis let out noises of pain before they were dropped to the ground, unconscious. Dijon froze as she smiled. Aria was quiet as Dijon got to his feet. It was dark enough in the factory that he could pull this off without Aria noticing and the other two not waking up. He faced the female with a frown as he slowly moved to the unconscious duo. He checked them and got a pulse instantly. He then moved around the small area around the woman, grabbing her attention.

"What do you think you're doing?"

He stayed quiet as his eyes flashed and the darkness clouded him, giving him invisibility. She panicked and looked around.

"Hey! Where'd you go?"

He slipped his styler into his hand and let the disc race over and capture the other three Muk. He then brought it back briefly before swiftly capturing the Infernape. She hissed as he reappeared by the unconscious duo.

"No fair! I'll get you back for that!" She then raced out as Aria went over.

"Not bad." He stayed quiet. Well shit. She did see it.

"Thanks..." He muttered as he picked Lapis up. The older male groaned softly as Dijon sighed. "They need fresh air."

"And light." He nodded as she picked up Scarlet. A pause filled the air before she spoke again. "Wild Hunt." He paused.

"You know it?"

"Part of it. You?" He nodded as Lapis panted weakly.

"Come on. Let's get them outside and alert the others."

^*^

As the others were rescanning the factory, Dijon and Aria were talking.

"So... the Fiore Hunt is the smallest?" She nodded.

"Just me and 4 others." He hummed.

"Who? I met two of them in Almia." She smiled.

"April and Janice?" He nodded. "Well... there's also a guy in Ringtown. You'll know him. Larry." Dijon paused.

"The guy Sage uses as a Rookie Mission?" She nodded.

"He has a lot of fun with that. There's another member... in Summerland. Her name is Leilani and she's pretty nice. But we're all nasty at night."

"Yeah... I learned that the hard way..." He paused. "The new moon's soon, right?" She groaned.

"Yes... three days..." She smiled. "Would you like to join us in our next strike?" His eyes lit up.

"Sure!" She smiled before a groan escaped Lapis. He sat up and grabbed his head.

"What the..."

"Welcome back to hell." He paused as the duo giggled.

"That's not funny."

"No, you're right. Scarlet will have a better reaction." Almost on cue, Scarlet woke up.

"What's happening?" Aria cocked an evil grin.

"Welcome to Hell, Scarlet. We've been here for about 5 hours. How was life?" Scarlet was on her feet instantly.

"I swear-" The other three lost it as she paused. "-if they... wait..." Aria smiled big.

"Lapis is still half-conscious and he hasn't done anything! Are you kidding me? Scarlet!" She blinked.

"You..."

"Tricked you without the Go Siblings doing Shit!" The Ringtown female hissed.

"Aria!" The Fall City ranger bolted as Scarlet raced after her and the boys grabbed air.

^*^

Dijon hummed as he approached the Hunter with his Tallow. Larry noticed and smiled.

"Hey." Dijon nodded as he waited for Scarlet and Lapis to leave earshot. He finally threw a rock at them, gaining quite the complaint and them to race off into the forest. Larry chuckled.

"What? They were taking too long." Larry paused.

"What is so important that they couldn't be here for?" Dijon let his Hunt symbol flash. Larry paused as Dijon put it away before Sage saw it. "Oh..."

"You didn't tell me you were part of it." Larry hummed.

"Well one was I didn't know you were part of it as well. The other was too many people." Dijon nodded before turning and meeting Sage's eye.

"A and B conversation. C your way out of it." Sage shrugged before going after the duo. Dijon sighed. "But I see your point. At least Aria told me." Larry nodded.

"Have you met all of our members?" Dijon shook his head.

"There's a girl in Summerland... Leilani... I still have to meet." Larry nodded.

"Who's in the Almia group?" Dijon chuckled.

"Mostly my family. I have yet to find outside family members." Larry nodded as he paused.

"Well... see you in three days." Dijon let a soft noise out as they split.

^*^

"Sleep!"

Dijon grabbed his ears. They were fighting Lapis over his sleep schedule. Not that Dijon had much of an argument with the fact that it was a New Moon night and he wasn't going to bed. Of course, Lapis tried to use that.

"Why don't you jump on someone else? I'll sleep tomorrow." Scarlet purred.

"Who would we jump on?" Lapis turned to Dijon.

"Why don't you look tired?" Dijon stayed quiet as the attention turned to him.

"Because you won't sleep." Lapis slammed the table as Seafoam frowned.

"No one believes you."

"Tell you what Lapis..." Dijon started, locking eyes with the blue eyed boy, casting an invisible slow-sleep spell on him. "You and me. Whoever stays up longer wins." Lapis growled softly.

"You're on."

^*^

Dijon chuckled to himself as he tucked Lapis in. Too easy. And he had 30 minutes to grab his stuff and meet up with the others. He slipped out of the bluenettes room and went to his room. He grabbed his bag and slipped out of the base. He met up with Larry and his Tallow as they headed off. Quick 20 minute walk as they arrived at the Fall City base. Aria and another girl waited for them.

"Hey. Great to see you." Larry smiled as Aria turned to Dijon. "Dijon, this is Leilani. Leilani, this is the Almia Hunter I was talking about, Dijon." Leilani smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Dijon." They shook hands as she paused.

"Well... April and Janice won't be able to join us today because they are meeting with the rest of the Almia Hunt. But we have much needed work to do for tonight. Dijon, I hope you can hold the place of two people." He smiled.

"WIth how Almia does our training and everything? Please." Leilani gulped.

"Lapis won't try and intervene, will he?" Dijon smiled.

"I handled him already. Have no fear of that." She nodded as Aria smiled.

"Then let's get to work."

^*^

Lapis was pretty mad when morning hit. The sun washed away the enchantment, letting him wake up. Meanwhile, Dijon wasn't complaining.

"Relax, dude... you are way too tense..." Lapis growled.

"You cheated!"

"Can you prove it?" Lapis fell quiet.

"Did you even sleep?"

"Yes." He said, clearing the doubt from almost all of the room. Seafoam stayed quiet.

"I don't believe you."

"I won. Just take the loss." Lapis stayed quiet at that.

"I'll figure it out." Dijon hummed as Lapis went elsewhere. The others giggled at his little rage. Dijon held a soft noise of fear back. That was close.

^*^

"What?"

Seafoam nodded silently. She was being transferred back to Almia.

"Yep." He stared at the letter. "I might get to see the other two. Probably not. But maybe we'll see each other in the future again?" He trembled before jumping into a hug with her. She smiled as she rubbed his back.

"P-promise you'll keep in touch..." She smiled as she pulled away and placed something in his hand. He saw a paper and smiled. He placed a note in hers as she sighed.

"I promise. Take care of yourself." He nodded as she stepped onto the ship and they waved goodbye.
