Chapter 6

(Jenny's P.O.V.)

The car raced along the highway and I was beginning to feel tiered. I rubbed my eyes and watched as the town stretched out in front of us. By the time we got into town in was mid afternoon. Chris was scrolling through her phone when we passed by a house surrounded by police cars and ambulances. I quickly parked the car feeling quite awake.

"Let's check it out." I said climbing out of the car. I slipped a couple of badges out of my purse. I tossed one to Chris and we walked up to the front door. There wee two girls bawling their eyes out and a body was slowly wheeled away.

"Karen Strong, I work with the police. Chris and I flashed our badges at the real police that were guarding the door. The guy standing there rubbed the back of his head.

"Looks like it was a typical stroke, although the strange thing was that his eyes burst." He sighed. "It's like nothing I've ever seen." Chris and I glanced at each other.

"We'd like to talk to the family, if you don't mind." The man nodded and gestured to the girls. Thanking him I walked over to the girls. "Hello, my names Karen Strong, I'd like to ask you a few questions about your fathers death, if you don't mind." The older girl looked at me, she looked slightly angry.

"He died if a stroke, there's nothing more to tell."

"That's not true!" The younger girl cried. "It's all my fault, I said Bloody Mary in the mirror, it all my fault." She sobbed. Chris stared at me and I frowned.

. . .

"Do you think that Bloody Mary could really be behind all of this?" Chris asked. I shook my head.

"I'm not sure, although it seems really unlikely. There have been many cases of people claiming that she had been the one to kill many people, but I just can't be sure." Turning the engine on I drove us over to the local police station. I went through the same routine with the coroner and found out a little bit more info after he had inspected the body. Later that day there was to be a mourning party and Chris and I had to be there. As we walked in I saw two strangely familiar guys.

"Bloody hell, I think Sam and Dean are here." I whispered to Chris. We ducked behind a couch when Sam's gaze passed over us. I breathed a sigh of relief. We needed to investigate the dads room and the maybe the older sisters room as well. Carefully we hurried up the steps.

The dad's room appeared neat and tidy, but I knew something was up. Call it a women's sixth sense. Just as we were going to investigate the older sisters room I heard footsteps on the stairs. With no time left two heads focused in on Chris and I.

"Jenn, Chris, is that you.?" Just as I feared. We had been found out by the brothers.
