"1....2.....3.....4....5...6-" I hear my sister counting while I was looking for a hiding spot. "-7...8...9..10! Ready or not! Here I come Brother!" I hear my sister yell while I hid in a fallen log. We live in a forest where there are a lot of other pokemon. Memma told us not to go to far since we just hatched last week.

I hear paw steps coming closer. I hold my breath to better hide myself. Watching the opening of the log carefully, I can feel my heart 'that's what memma calls it at least' start going faster. I can't hear the steps anymore.

Present time

I wake up from my nap still tired. I wasn't happy about today since my trainer was leaving for a trip. If I remember correctly, he was invited for a conference with the champions of the world? I'm not exactly sure but it's somewhere along those lines. He said he can only take one member of our team.

So guess how didn't make the cut. Yep. This guy.

I sigh to myself and went to the kitchen for a snack. My trainer only caught like 30 pokemon including his starter. That's who he decided to take his starter with him. Lights the Typhlosion. Infact, that is one of the things I like about my trainer. He named us.

I use psychic to open the fridge door and bring a plate of oran berries. When I closed the door, our newest member was waiting to talk to me. It was a little Popplio, female in fact.

"Can I have one?" She asks with a cute voice. I muttered a 'sure' and gave her one. "Say, Jewel where's Dusk?" Our trainer's name was Dusk.

She looked up at me with her mouth blue from the berry. "He's packing in his room." Then she goes back to eating.

I finish the berries and go upstairs. As I walked to his door I hear him talking on his pokegear. "-you only need to take care of my umbreon and poppio even if it means you have to stay in my house while I'm gone." All the other pokemon are at the pokemon league since Dusk is part of the Elite Four.

"-call me once you get here." He then ends the call. "This is going to be a long trip...." He sighs as he finished packing. Then I hear Lights talk. "So....what did she say?" Another sigh is heard. "Well, I'm sure I need to hire someone else. I wouldn't have this problem if only I could take Zelo and Jewel."

I walk into the room. "So what will happen now?" I asked jumping up to his bed. He talked in an uncertain tone. "Maybe you and jewel will have to take care of yourselves while I'm gone..." Both me and Lights scowl at him. "Why woul-" We both started to say but he turned off the pokelator. "I'm sorry but, there's no time to find another caretaker. Unless you want to stay with the others at the pokemon league." I shake my head and leave the room.

I walked down the stairs to the living room and turned on the tv. A movie was playing. Jewel soon joined me since it was a kid movie. "Bye Zelo and Jewel! Don't destroy the house!" Dusk called while walking out the door.

It's been thirty minutes since the movie started and I'm already getting drowsy. I decided to take a short nap.

Flashback

I slowly came out of the log wondering why the paw steps stopped. "Sister?" I called out. She didn't answer. I crawled close to the ground to hide myself while going back to our den. I noticed that it was quite.....scary quite. There was no sound. There was no movement. There were no pokemon... I ran back the den as quick as I can.

When I got to the den, I was scared. So scared that my tail went between my legs and I hid in a bush. There were weird pokemon looking in our den. Memma said they were trainers and to stay away from them. The 'trainer' pulled a weird looking ball from their waist and threw it. A white light came from it and a Arbok appeared. "Arbok use dark pulse. Let's see if any pokemon are in this den." The trainer said. Arbok did as it was told and used that move on my home. Memma and Sister didn't come out. They must of left already. I turned around to make a run for it when I hear the trainer yell. "Arbok use wrap on that Eevee!" I feel my body being crushed and I blacked out.

Present time

I jolt from my nap surprising Jewel in the process and looked around. "Zelo don't do that!" I hear Jewel whine. "Sorry. Bad dream." I jump down from the sofa and went to the backyard.

I walked over to a small grave we had. This was Ginger, a Fennekin Dusk rescued from abusive owners when we visited the Reborn region. She died in a battle against the evil organization there. I paid my respects and turned around.

"I've finally found you~" I hear a female voice call out from the berry trees we have. Once I heard the voice and how dangerous the tone was, I froze. I hear the voice laugh. "Well look who's scared now~" I search the trees with my eyes not daring to move my body. I couldn't find them.

"Aw~ What's wrong big brother? Can't find me?" She says in a dangerously innocent voice. It can't be my sister. My sister is older than me. "We'll see eachother soon~" I hear the voice say. I didn't feel the her presence which means she left.

I walked back into the house and closed the back door. "It's still daylight but I couldn't find her...." I told myself. I went back to the living seeing Jewel passed out from who knows what.

I start to get uneasy throughout the day. I went to the sink to wash the plate that had the oran berries in it. As I wash the plate, I let my mind wonder off.

Flashback

"Running diagnostic now E01." I hear a faint voice say.

'I....can't...move....' I thought to myself as I tried to move. 'I...can't...feel...anything..' I realized when I tried to feel my way around. I was both awake and asleep at the same time.

"Diagnostic successful. Launching cloning process.....now." Once I heard that, I felt a sharp pain all around my body. It felt like my skin was being ripped off. Then the pain stopped. "Cloning process done.... E02 has been successfully cloned from E01." I couldn't hear very well since I was recovering from that.....sharp pain.

I slowly open my eyes to see that I'm back in the forest. It must of been a dream. I pawed my way back to the den for a nap. Memma and sister were there waiting.

Present time

I finished washing the plate and noticed that it was close for bedtime. I looked out the window and saw that it was already dark out. I went to the living room to get the still sleeping jewel and take her upstairs to our room.

I put her in her little bed and I lay in mine. I close my eyes and go to sleep.

??? POV

I need to get brother back to master.
