Part Two
RECAP:

Sacramento, California-
Once Ayden and I were upstairs he pulled my hair and I messed up his hair even more. We eventually went to our separate ways, yelling a few insults towards th other.
I went into my room and put away my school bag, deciding to do my homework later. I plopped onto the bed and plugged my headphones into my phone. Just as I was about to play a song Ayden burst into my room.

Sacramento, California-
"You do know there is a wooden door stopping you from entering, right? Yet you continue to ignore it and let youself in. Why?" I asked while he made himself comfortable in my computer chair.
"Oh please make yourself comfortable. By all means." I scoffed.
"Don't mind if I do," Ayden smirked, kicking off his shoes.
"Anyway, mom and dad's guests are here. What do you say? Ayden said while looking through my art book.
"Dad told us to stay upstairs and that's invading their privacy. He literally told you less than 15 minutes ago to stay up stairs. Was there an networking issue in you brain?" I answered as I snached my art book from him.
"Your 14 now, don't be such a whimp." Ayden said joked.
"What if we get caught? Are you going down for the both of us?" I thought aloud.
"No way!" He frowned. (Gif)
"Exactly! I have more important things to do than invade others privacy. Do it yourself." I said placing my ear buds back into my ear.
"You know, Octavia would have never turned down an opportunity like this. This is the perfect time to see what they are up to." Ayden glared, snatching out my ear buds. Octavia is-was our older sister. She was killed 2 years ago in a car accident.
"Yea, well I'm not Octavia, so stop comparing me to her." I growled in annoyance. We sat in a awkward silence for what felt like minutes but was only a few seconds. I finally gave in. You know what they say- Curiosity killed the cat.
"Fine!" I groaned as Ayden smirked in success. Placing my phone along with with my ear buds down I asked the million dollar question:
"So what's the plan?" I asked.

We creep down the stairs quietly keeping our heads down as we got closer to the bottom. We crawled down toward the end of the living room hall. We stopped at the end of the hall and listened to the conversation between our parents and the two other people.
"Hello, as you know, I'm Oliver Toronto and this is my wife Tia Toronto." Dad introduced both Mom and himself.
"Nice to meet you again. Mr. and Mrs. Toronto. I am Melanie Jacobson and this is my husband Ronald. We were assigned to find Ms. Octavia Toronto. May I ask whom she is to you?" Melanie asked our parents as Ayden snuck a little closer to get a better look at our visitors.
"Are you crazy? Your gonna get us caught!" I whisper shouted to Ayden.
"Shhh." Ayden shushed and kept on towards them.
"Octavia is our eldest daughter. She was supposedly killed at the scene of the car accident 2 years ago. We had a closed casket funeral." My mother said as a few tears welded in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry to hear that but I don't see the point of you hiring a Private Investigator." Ronald questioned my parents.
"You see, we buried a empty casket because there was no body to bury. My daughter was on her way home from her friend's house when another car collided with her's. Officers say she died on impact. Her body was taken to the hospital morgue and was suddenly 'displaced'. They weren't able to find her body, but Police at the scene say they never even saw a body, which got me to thinking. Is our little girl still out there? I have found proof that she may be still out there. You think you can help us?" The Jacobson's were silent for a while before either one of them spoke.
"Where's your proof?" Ronald asked as dad handed him a yellow-orange colored file. Ronald took out the information from the file and browsed through it with his wife.
"We think we will be able to help you." Melanie said as they shook hands with our parents. They spoke a bit more before I realized they were about to leave.
"Ayden c'mon! We gotta go! They're about to leave!" I whispered shouted. Ayden ignored me. There was a bit of forced silence and then all that was heard was lyrics from Ayden's phone signalling an incoming call. I stayed down as Dad's voice rang out.
"Ayden Ptolemy Toronto!" Ayden jumped up.
"Hiya dad." Ayden shyly waved. I didn't stay to hear anymore. I hurried back up the stairs before I was even noticed.
Oh how I love revenge. Sweet-sweet revenge.
