Chapter 16- Help

The cold wind of January hit my face. I shivered, I needed to find someone who could help me get into the underworld. I was walking on the side of the road headed who knows where. I sat down and thought of some of Antis friends. 

I then remembered something Glitch had told me when we were with them. I smiled. I knew who just to go to for help. 

I got up and started to head towards Glitch's cabin. 

Antis Pov

I got home and it was really quiet in the house. Well i guess she must be asleep. I went into the kitchen and sat down the groceries. I noticed something on the counter it was a small piece of paper. 

I grabbed it and turned it over. I saw it was Y/n's handwriting, and it was towards me. I read the note and as i got towards the end my heart started to race and i could feel the tears in my eyes.

She left...

I rushed upstairs and searched the whole house. She was no here to be found. I felt the tears fall down my face. I had an ache in my chest. I sat on the stairs with my head in my hands. I couldn't believe it. 

I was only trying to help her.  She don't know what she was doing. That book does things to people. I knew i should have burned that book. I was starting to get mad. I grabbed my hair, if only she wasn't so fucking curious. 

"Ahh!" I yelled into the empty house. It echoed through the stairway. I stood up and slammed my fist into the wall. It made a small dent in it. 

I needed to find her before it was to late. I cant lose her like the others. Not again...
