Gale began to stir after i finished and Posy was asleep.

"hey sis" he whispered "i thought you would have left i messed with his hair while still holding my sister.

"I'm not going anywhere I'm gonna stay and cause all kinds of trouble" i smiled softly

"me too" he fell back to sleep and i went to put Posy to bed then going back to my spot and laying down my head. i was woken up by a kiss on my cheek and i knew that feeling anywhere.

"morning" i sighed sitting up he was crouched next to me.

"hey. you know if you want to get some rest i can watch him" he offered

"thank you but first he needs more snow" i kissed him then went to put on my boots and jacket them went outside with a bowl. i knelt down and collected snow when someone or rather Kat knelt beside me.

"how's your eye" she asked

"it's not my eye that's the problem Kat. it's those bloody peacekeepers and Snow they just back me show angry" i growled shoving snow into the bowl Kat stopped me. "how can anyone live like this" i shook my head.

"it's not living" she started "since the last games something's different I've seen it"

"seen what?"

"hope" she answered

"you do know that whatever i do it always comes back to my loved ones. that includes you too i don't want any of you getting hurt."

"you don't have to protect us Lils because we are with you all the way" i looked at her then leaned my head on her shoulder.

"Lily" Peeta breathed and i hugged him

"please tell me I'm having a nightmare i beg of you please tell me it's not happening." he shushed me i sniffed and pulled back. they wanted to kill us it was clear.

"24 hours" i said

"what?" Peeta asked

"24 hours before i'm reaped Peeta." i looked him in the eyes. "do you love me?"

"do you really want to marry me?" i asked ignoring his question.

"Lilly" he warned

"just answer if it was possible would you marry me right now?" i questioned holding his face in my hands.

"yes in a heartbeat" i nodded and kissed him taking him to find Haymitch who was downing a bottle.

"get up you drunken fart we have a wedding to go to" he looked up at me
