"you two need to try better. a couple of times you sound like drill sergeants. Snow is watching us and my bet he is not impressed."

"what else can we do huh we rehearsed what Effie wrote for us if i was  in their place i would be distracted" i huffed leaning on Peeta's lap

"we'll it's time for a new strategy"

"like what getting married" i snorted. we continue on in the other districts before arriving in the capitol.

"and you are ready" Cinna smiles  i was in a black dress with navy blue heels and blood red lips. i looked grown up. there was a knock and i knew it was Peeta and i hugged Cinna and the door opened he was very dashing and shocked.

"you look amazing " he smiled then held out his arm.

"thank you Mr Dashing" i took his arm and went to the doors. the opened and the crowds cheered  for us and shouted our names. we smiled and waved i took some flowers and thanked them. we then got into a car to be taken to our interview with Ceaser. i noticed that Peeta was nervous for some reason.

"you okay? i asked

"yeah fine...Lilly"

"yeah"

"i love you" i smiled

"i love you too" we lapsed back in silence and it wasn't long before we were taken to the stage. i was glad that after tonight we were going back home.

"and now what you have all been waiting for our 74th Annual Hunger Games victors. Lilly Hawthorne and Peeta Mellark"

"ready" i asked

"as always" he winked and we walked on the stage grinning and waving at the crowd.

"Ceaser it is so good to see you" i complemented as we kissed cheeks

"and you. may i say you look ravishing" he complemented

"why thank you and I'm loving the new colour" i was becoming a expert on speaking capitol

"thank you. Peeta so good to see you" the shook hands

"great to see you too and i agree purple looks good on you" We sat down i now holding one of Peeta's hands and grossing my legs.

"so tell me how was the victory tour" absolutely terrifying.

"unpredictable for the lack of better word. there were good moments, bad moments and i did not expect that" they laughed

"yeah and being the two of us together again. cause when we came back there was so much to do like catching up with our families and just putting them first for a while after all when we left the never thought to see us again."

"i completely understand but. but. but . bbbbuuuutttt i don't know about the audience but i am eager to see Peeta's surprise" i furrowed my eyebrows confused

"awh look at that now i you ladies and gentlemen share the same confusion let me tell you Peeta has a little surprise for our lovely Lilly here would you care to do the honours Peeta" Ceaser stood me up and Peeta got down on one knee. i gasped

"Lilly for twelve years we have loved from afar and for five months we have loved as one. will you marry me" he opened a box with a beautiful engagement ring i covered my mouth and nodded holding out one hand he slipped the silver band with a orange sapphire and mini diamonds onto my finger before standing up and hugging me.
