I was with Rory, Vik, Posy and Prim when having dinner when Boggs came over to us.

"Lily, you're needed in Command." I nodded and wiped my mouth. flicking Rory's nose, jokingly he waved me away and I left them too it. We walked into to Peeta on the screen.

"Tonight we have received reports of derailed trains and granaries on fire..." I covered my mouth, He looked thin and I mean not a good thin, you could almost see his bones he was that thin. I covered my mouth in shock as he continued talking.

"and of a savage attack on the hydroelectric dam in District 5."

"Oh, baby, what have they done to you." I whispered

"I'm begging for restrain and decency." The screen crackled as scenes from earlier that day and me singing in the background.

"That's it, that's our footage." Coin pointed

"Beetee's in." it went back to Peeta who looked shocked and relieved

"Lily."

"He sees it. He sees' our propo." if fazed back and forth between the two of us.

"Lily, Lily are you there?"

"Peeta" I started to cry jogging forward, closer to the screen.

"Lily."

"Oh my god. Oh my god." Kat wrapped her arms around me as I held onto her

"Peeta, Peeta you were telling us about these savage attacks " Ceaser directed him back I saw his eyes shift ad if he was looking right at me. My heart broke all over again to see him like this.

"Yeah. The attack on the dam was callous and inhuman act of destruction ." It went back to me. What were they doing? They were interrupting him, the only chance I get to see him that I knew he was alive. Peeta was seeing the same thing I was. He leaned forward slightly now talking to me.

"Think about it. How will this end? What will be left? Now one can survive this. No one is safe now." he spoke to me, me and no one else.

"I know, but I'm here, listen, listen to the song Peeta. What is it saying? Remember." I talked to the screen

"Not here in the Capitol, not in any of the districts."

"Remember the song. Listen to it." It fade back to me and then him as recognition flickered in his eyes.

"They're coming Lily, they're gonna kill everyone..." he was grabbed and he fought to warn us "And in district 13 you'll be dead by morning." The transmission cut out.

"He's warning us, that was a warning." Haymitch stated I turned to my brother.

"I told you he was still my Peeta." I stated in a know it all tone. I knew he was still in there, even with everything they were doing to him, even in survival mode. He was still in there and i kept the faith.

"Yes it was."

"We have to get him out before they kill him." I told Boggs well it was rather more being insistent. Peeta needed to be out of there and with me safe. I would protect him, tenfold after everything.

"Is there anything in the air?" Coin asked

"Nothing on the doppler ma'am." a person replied 

"He was in the mansion, he could have heard something." She aimed the statement toward Plutarch.

"Possibly" he replied . She looked at all of us.

"It's time for an air raid drill." The alarm started beeping

"I need to find my siblings." I told Kat

"I'll come with you." We flew out of command through people heading to the bunker.

"Last time I saw them they were in the bess hall." She nodded and we went there first. Warning went off about the blast doors sealing in six minutes

"Rory, Vik, Posy!" I shouted

"Prim!" It was empty

"Maybe they've gone down." I slapped her arm and we headed to the stair well. I looked over and there were so many people I couldn't see them. As we made our way down there was a shudder and I looked up.

"They're attacking!" I stressed. there was a leak and it started to rain on us. People panicked and started shoving all the calmness went out of the window. I was knocked down the stairs as people hurried to get down I banged my head so I tried to protect it, I covered my head in tears as this scared me. I just needed my family.

"Come on" Some one helped me up and took me down. I thanked her and ran inside searching for my family. I found Katniss

"Have you seen them?"

"No! I checked they're not here." she told me

"I have to find them." I ran out of there

"Prim went back for the cat."

"And they must be looking for me." We ran out as we were told to stop. I heaved myself up the stairs with Kat in tow searching for our siblings.

"Rory! Vik! Posy!" I yelled

"Prim!" Kat joined

"Lily!" "Katniss!" We heard them I ran up and took Posy into my arms she held on tight. Gale was with them too.

"Come on!" I ran back down the stairs with the six of them in tow. The countdown began for the doors closing

"Hurry."

"Hold the doors!" Kat screamed We ran in just in time as the doors gave a loud thump as the were closed solid. all of us were heaving out deep breaths thankful we had just made it.

"You went back for the cat, what were you thinking?" Kat shouted

"I couldn't leave him behind. I couldn't live with myself." I turned to my brothers.

"And you left the mess hall? What have I said about waiting for me. You know the rules."

"We're sorry." I huffed and brought them into a hug

"Don't do that again, I was out of my mind with worry. I can't loose you." I stressed pulling them closer.

"Let's go." I nodded and we took them inside. When we heard rumbling from up above. We found our Mothers and sat down on the bottom bunk. Crashing from the bombs above scared everyone in the bunker. Posy cried in my neck scared.

"It's okay, we're gonna be okay." I told her rubbing her back.

"Here let me." Mom said holding out her arms but my sister held on tighter. The explosions continued as we were plunged into darkness. Torches were turned on and I looked to Rory.

"Rory, says something. Anything." He thought for a moment.

"Prim and I got promoted, they're training us to be doctors. I forgot to tell you. And Mum is a chief medic." I looked at him then Mum

"Of course, they'd be stupid not to." I kissed his head.

"I found someone who's willing to tutor us in his spare time." Vik told me "Posy and Me ." I smiled.

"That's nice."

The bombing died down and we went over to Katniss and Prim. I held a torch and started teasing Buttercup. It was funny to begin with but I got bored, as negative thoughts started entering my head. I gave the torch to Kat and Looked around. Seeing Finnick I went over

"Finn." He looked up

"Hey."

"Can I sit?"

"Sure." He sat up, letting me sit next to him. He was staring at a picture of Annie.

"Snow's using Annie to punish you. He's taunting us with them. I didn't understand until just now watching that stupid cat."

"You know after the first games I though the romance was a act and you were laying it on thick. But it wasn't until Peeta's heart stopped and he nearly died I knew I misjudged you. You love him.The Capitol twists perception and I thought by looking at you I got wise to it. But it was real."

"Of course it was real." I tell him then turn to look at him "How do you cope?"

"I drag myself outta nightmares and there's no relief in waking up. But it's better not to give into it. It takes ten times longer to put yourself back together than it does to fall apart. Yet I think you know that." he glanced at me knowingly, the survivors of Snow. The Unlucky, lucky ones.

"The second interview that he did. My brother Gale called him a coward. He told me that if it was him he would never say what they wanted him to."

"He can't know."

"I know that. But I know with the right pressure point I'd sing like a canary. In fact I am I'm the mockingjay after all." I play with my fingers.

"I'm playing a part in a fight which I unknowingly stoked. If I could I would crawl under a rock and hide but I can't. I can't because they have him. I get what he's feeling, we're not with each other and each side is dangling us like puppets."

"Except you have more of a say." he told me

"Do I? Do the propos and we'll save Peeta. That's the bottom line. I just, I keep going to districts and hearing about what they're doing. I keep thinking am I making it worse? The more I do the worse he gets. My hearts split in two."

"I know."

"I hate the way they treat us and I'm glad it's happening but I would rather hide that side. Gosh hear me. I sound so selfish. "

"You don't, your mind has a million thoughts. It must be so busy up there."

"It is." I smiled at him "Finn promise me something."

"What?"

"When we get them back put Annie out of her misery and marry the poor girl." he chuckled

"I'm serious, you've been in love with her who knows how long and you've barely done a thing about it. So gets some balls and do it."

"Oh...Okay." he shook his head
