Tazzel somehow climbed a tree the previous night. He slept on palm leaves and found a coconut in it.

He heard a cannon. Now another. When he looked down, lava was rushing. He was thankful he climbed a tree, he was fairly close to the volcano.

When he turned, he saw he was blocking a camera. He faced it.

"Rudy, I need to tell you something. There's a reason I wear a rainbow bracelet. I like you, I always have. I thought I might tell you. Never forget that. Never forget me." He was crying from his own words.

He saw something coming down from the sky. He caught it and opened it. It was grapes. He had only told one sponsor that both he and Rudy loved grapes. The note was from P. Phillip. His favorite capital person. He knew just what he was thinking. The coconut was on the floor and burned.

He wished Rudy hadn't been reaped. He wish he could be in District 5 with Rudy.

He wished Rudy liked him back.

Leslie was scared. That morning she barely out ran the lava. She was so hot, she had to take of her jacket that near burned off.

She decided to camp next to this hill. Everything was turning out fine, till the duo of Norah and Wyatt showed up running. They weren't the problem. They were running from the careers. She took the bow and arrows she got, even though she wasn't that good, and shot. It was unknown who was shot till they lay on the ground. The cannon boomed for someone. A dark skined bushy haired someone. Orchid was dead. Jade was avenged.

Shailee was upset. Even with a paralyzed arm, Orchid was really good. She through a dagger and hit Leslie in the heart. The trees, the sand, it was all spinning. She hit the ground with a thud. As she saw black, a cannon boomed.

Landon and Amber watched the sunrise that morning. Now they were eating something they killed and plants Amber identified. Landon wasn't sure if Amber liked him back, so he didn't mention that.

"Landon. We can't both win." She said. She put her head on his shoulder.

Then, he said " True, but you can." He put his head on hers.

They got up and decided to make a spear, the easiest to sculpt.

"Okay, we haven't talked in like thirty minutes. This is the games, not a dramatic soap opera," She said. She turned around and looked back at him. "Landon, I love you, but we can never be together. "

"Let me try. Amber, your sister has cancer. And your mom was hit by a bus." He said. They laughed.

"Nooooo! Amber!" Yet his scream managed to be louder. "He put his head on her chest. Everything was moving in slow motion till a hovercraft came down to pick her up.

"Nooooo! Don't take her! Please, no, NOOOOO! Don't, stop, no. Help, help!" He saw Jason running away as soon as he looked. He couldn't trick Landon after that.

"Help me." He said on the sand.

One other person heard him and it was none other than Tazzel, who had been looking for an ally. Lucky for him, Landon needed a friend.

Lucas decided to stay next to the cornucopia, hidden from everyone else. That is, till the snakes.

He woke up and heard hissing.

"I should check," he thought. He peered out of the bush he was hiding behind. Snakes. He ran and ran. The snakes bit off his left shoe. They nearly killed him. They chased him till he climbed a tree. They kept going. Then, they dissolved into forcefield he couldn't see. He was at the arena's edge.

He walked to his shoes and backpack. Someone else was there.
