Ruhana is delighted to be back with her brother. Her happiness knows no bounds, as Vineet has also joined the CID. She has also learned about her brother's affection for the forensic expert, Dr Tarika. She wants them to come together, and in the meantime, she also wants to rekindle her relationship with Vineet.

One week passes by in a blink. It's Sunday, and as Ruhana wakes up, she's surprised to find Abhijeet sitting on the couch. A tray is seated on the centre table. She looks at him in surprise.

"Bhaiya, aap raat se idhar hi ho? Bed pe hi so jaate." She says, assuming that he fell asleep on the couch while talking to her.

"Arey nahi! Main toh abhi 10 minute pehle aaya. Socha tujhe coffee bana ke jagaun." Abhijeet smiles warmly.

"Woah! That's sweet, bhaiya! You know, sabse zyada maine aapke haath ki coffee miss ki." She says.

He smiles and she quickly runs into the washroom to brush her teeth, after which she savours the coffee. As they had decided, Abhijeet invited everyone for dinner at his place. As usual, Daya would be early, while the others' time will vary.

"Aapne Salunkhe Sir ko bola hai na? Maine unse kaha tha toh unhone mana kar diya tha." Ruhana asks.

"Unka bharosa nahi beta! Unhe aaj ek seminar mein lecture dene jaana hain. Vaise maine unse kaha hain, aane ke liye." He replies.

"Aur Tarika ji? Vo khud aayengi?" She asks sweetly, rather, it'd be honest to say that, she wants to read his expressions.

"Tarika aur Purvi ek saath aayenge. Un dono ka kuch plan tha, so they'll come together." He smiles.

"Yay! Today is going to be fun. Maza aayega!" She chuckles happily.

Abhijeet glances at her affectionately and it doesn't go unnoticed by Ruhana. These two have been there for each other and he has taken care of her like his child. There's a 12 years age gap between Ruhana and Abhijeet, which is why, he is possessive and protective of her. She has been away for her studies and training and he had been missing her, so, he got her back to Mumbai. His house is now a home.

"Kya dekh rahe ho? Yahi ki main badi ho gayi? Woh toh ho hi jaungi naa! Par! Aapke liye main abhi bhi chhoti hi hoon, aur aapko meri har zidd puri karni hai!" she winks at him and ends her sentence with a giggle.

"Lekin sirf achchi zidd! I mean koi sahi demand hogi toh hi maanunga main." Abhijeet says.

"You know what, bhaiyya! Jo mujhe chahiye wahi aapki bhi pasand hai, lekin beech mein aap khadus inspector ban jaate ho." she says trying to imitate his expressions.

"Main khadus hoon? Really?" He glares at her.

She bobs her head multiple times and runs out of the room without answering him. Abhijeet smiles at her antics and follow her. There are many preps to be done and he can't sit idle. He needs to help his sister.

The day passes by in a blur. Ruhana prepared a lot of cuisine, and after cross-checking every little thing, she sat down to relax. In the meantime, Abhijeet got her a cup of cold coffee, as per her taste and she was all glad. As the two siblings sit to talk, the doorbell rings. Abhijeet opens the door and is glad to find Daya and Sachin. They've been at some work, and so they came together. Daya got some flowers for Ruhana, and she's delighted. Soonish, everyone joins, except the senior duo - ACP and Dr Salunkhe. Ruhana is a little upset at that, because for her, it's the first time she'd got to meet them out of the bureau, but yeah, work comes first and she knows that she'll be treated nicely in or out of the bureau. Also, she knows the love and respect they hold for her brother.

Everyone gets busy talking, while Ruhana gets up to serve some starters. Vineet follows her into the kitchen, in order to help her. He embraces her in his arms, and she's stunned at his act.

"Kya kar rahe ho? Sab bahar hi hai aur tumhe romance sujh raha hain?" She scolds him playfully.

"Ab tum saara time toh paas rehti nahi ho na! Aur na ab hum roz mil sakte hain." he says, leaving her in his embrace.

"Roz toh milenge hi, lekin tum aisa kuch mat karo jisse banti baat bigad jaaye." Ruhana says, trying to convince him.

"Meri zindagi mein bas tum aur bhaiya hi mere liye sabse important ho. Aur sahi waqt aane par main bhaiya ko sab bata dungi. Tum dekhna sab kuch acha hoga." She says while pouring soft drinks for everyone.

"Main jaanta hoon, Ruhana. Trust me. Lekin kuch pal toh churaane padenge na, jaise abhi!" Saying so, he pecks a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She smiles at him and hugs him in an instant. She knows that he will always keep his word and won't take a step ahead. She hands him a tray and she holds the other before they step out of the kitchen. Everyone is enjoying and everyone praises Ruhana's culinary skills.

The evening is passing smoothly, the otherwise busy officers are having fun, chatting and playing games. Meanwhile, Tarika's phone rings and she is astonished to hear what the caller has to say. She's way too shocked to react or tell anything and leaves the house in an instant.

Abhijeet and Daya share a glance and the former rushes behind her to find out the reason.
