~Anika's POV~

I finished all the work and sat beside Ri who was sleeping peacefully like a baby. Watching her face I can say that she is very happy. I caressed her hair and placed a kiss on her forehead. I took my laptop and started doing some work. After some hours I finished my work and went to the garden. Looking at the moon I started getting all the flashbacks of us.
Once moon used to give me peace but now it only gives me pain. I am staring at the moon when someone sits beside me. I looked beside me and found Mr.Oberoi.

S: Anika what are doing here at this time?

A: Nothing, aise hi. Aap kyu nehi soye?
(Nothing, just like that. Why didn't you sleep?)

S: Mai pani lene jaa raha tha tumhe dekha to aa geya, I hope I didn't disturb you.
(I was going to get water when I saw you so I came, I hope I didn't disturb you)

A: No no

S: why didn't you sleep?

A: I just don't feel like sleeping.

S: why?

A: because I can't sleep easily.

S: Anika are you tensed about Gauri and the marriage preparations?

A: no Mr.Oberoi.

S: Anika can you please stop calling me Mr.Oberoi?

A: so what I'll call you?

S: you can call me Shivaay.

A: okay Shivaay.

S: Okay now let's go. It's getting cold here.

A: okay.

We both stood and went to our rooms when a thorn pricks my leg. I shout in pain and Shivaay looks at me. He held me by my shoulder and made me sit on the bench.

S: Anika can't you take care of yourself?
(Making her sit and kneel in front of her)

A: I'm fine Shivaay.

S: what fine.. I must be paining right? What I'm asking must be paining.
(Taking her feet in his hand)

A: I don't feel any pain.

S: A human feels pain and I think you're a human.

I said nothing but stare at him. He took out the thorn but I didn't feel anything. He takes out a handkerchief and ties it over the wound. He slowly makes me stand and takes me in. I can see clearly that he is tense about my wound. He left my room telling me to take care.

~Shivaay's POV~

Now after listening to her, I can say that she is hurt by something. She doesn't show her pain but her eyes show the pain and her voice holds the same pain. But I don't know why it hurts me. I entered my room and lay down on the bed. I don't know when I fell asleep thinking about Anika.

Sun rays peeped through the curtains with a cool breeze and it broke my sleep. I look at the clock it's 8:45 am. Today I'm late, hurriedly I went into the washroom and came out. I got down in the hall and saw Gauri doing some work. I went towards her and she wished me good morning.

G: good morning bade bhaiya.

S: good morning Gauri. (He sits beside her) Where is Anika?

G: di had to attend some important meeting so she had to leave early.

S: Gauri if you don't mind can I ask you something?

G: bhaiya you can ask anything..
(Smiling at him)

S: I want to ask you about Anika.

G: About Anika di?

S: Did something happen with Anika in the past? (Her expression changed into a tensed one) it's fine if you don't want to tell me.

G: no bhaiya there is nothing like that something happened with Anika Di and after that, she changed. She used to be more bubbly than me but everything changed. I can't tell you about this bhaiya because I promised di that I'll never talk about it anymore. But I miss my bubbly Anika Di a lot. (She cried) you know bhaiya after that incident Anika di didn't cry.
(She cried more, Shivaay hugged her and started consoling her)

S: shh.. Don't cry, Gauri. Everything will be fine. (In mind) I'll make everything fine.

Now I want to know everything about Anika and I'll find out why Anika became like this. I took out my phone and dialed Khanna's number. I told him to find every detail about Anika. After some time he called back and I was shocked to hear his answer.
