Arnoldo's Backstory (feat. Kiri)

I was thrown down onto a cold stone floor. I whimpered and ran to a corner of the room but a guy grabbed me by my shoulders and yanked me backwards. He put a metal bracelet that had a chain connected to it on my wrists and ankles. I yanked and pulled at them as much as I could. The guy laughed and walked away.

"Help! Someone! Anyone!" I started to quiver. "I wanna go home..." I curled up and stared at the door for what felt like forever.

I sighed when I realized that nobody was coming. I looked away from the door and my gaze landed on a rock. I picked up the rock and looked at it.

The door swung open and a little kid probably my age was pushed in. "You'll come out when you've thought your decision through."

"You'll never take me alive!" He yelled. They just slammed the door shut and the kid sighed before looking at me. "Who are you?" I cowered down into the corner while holding my new best friend. He must've seen the rock. "Did you name it?" I shook my head. "Okay then. I will! His name is Arnoldo the Third."

  "Third?" I tilted my head.

"So you do speak. And yes, Third. We don't talk about the First or Second." He sat down next to me and I chuckled. "So what's your name?"

  "Eijirou Kirishima. What's yours?"

"I'm Katsuki Bakugou. Whaddia in for?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. They just found my village and took me here. They hurt my mama and dad. What are you in for?"

"I'm in for disobeying the King. He thinks that I have potential to become the ruler of this kingdom but rules suck so I told him no." He folded his arms and pouted. "It isn't faaiirr. He thinks that just because he's the king that he can boss me around." He stood up and started to move his shoulders around and mock the king. "'Katsuki do this, Katsuki do that, blah blah blah, you're the next ruler so act like it, stop acting like a child,' well, maybe I act like a child because I am one!" He huffed and sat back down. He looked at me again. "Wait, you have wings and a tail." He looked closer. "And scales. Are you a dragon?" I nodded. "Wow! So cool!" He grabbed my wings and tail and inspected them. I waited for him to stop. "So, how did this happen? Were you born with it or is it a curse?"

"I was born with them. I can turn into a dragon too but I can't if I'm tied up in a way like now." I lifted up my hands and ankles.

"Why didn't you say something before?! I can help you out!" He pulled out a key and unlached the things. "Wanna break out?" I nodded and smiled before bending down to pick up Alfredo. "No, leave him here."

"Why should we leave Alfredo here by himself?" I tilted my head while stroking the rock.

"For other people when they come in here. They'll have a best friend here waiting for them." He explained.

"Okay!" I put him down and patted him one last time. "Let's go now."

He nodded and opened up the door a little to check to see if anyone was there. "Coast's clear." He moved his hand through the air and we bolted out. We were giggling the entire time we ran and hid from guards. It was like a harsh game of Hide and Seek, but I had a friend to play with me.

We finally ran to the town. We looked around before Bakugou grabbed my wrist and he took me towards tall trees. "Where are we going?"

"We're going to get caught by guards if we stay in town. Wanna live in the woods together?" He asked me enthusiastically.

"Sure! I love the woods." I chirped.

"I do too. My village is somewhere in the woods but everyone there are buttholes, so I ran away." He responded.

"Why are they buttholes?" I asked.

"Because there are too many rules!" He let go of my wrist and we casually strolled through the woods.

  I just shrugged. "Seems fair."

"Well it's supposed to be unfair! Rules suck!" He yelled before suddenly spinning around, causing me to run into him. He grabbed my shoulders. "Wanna get married?"

I blinked at him, surprised at the sudden request. "Sure, but don't we need someone to wed us?" I tilted my head.

"That is in the rules and we are going against the rules right now. We don't need a person to wed us. We can do that ourselves!" He said determiningly.

"Okay. What do married couples do?" I asked.

"You ask too many questions. I don't know though, I guess they call each other nicknames. The traditiwhatitcalled ones are Wife and Husband." Bakugou replied.

"Oh. So, what do you want to do now husband?" I asked happily.

"Hmm... Do you know how to hunt wife?" He looked back at me.

"A little. I went on a hunting mission with my mama once." I told him.

"Well, let me show you how to hunt rabbits. Let's find a field." He suddenly started to run. I laughed and followed him.

----------------

After finally finding a field, he looked at me. "Okay. Pretend to be a rabbit."

"Okay." I crouched down and started hopping everywhere.

"Alright, your home is over there." Bakugou pointed to a dirt mound.

"Okay, I mean, squeak!" I hopped around more.

"Rabbits don't squeak." He informed me before screaming. I hopped as fast as I could to my 'home' but Bakugou was there first. He grabbed me by my neck and pretended to stab me. "See? Easy! Especially if the rabbit was as slow as you are!"

I chuckled and stood up. We started walking back towards the woods. "Hey! It's my first time being a rabbit."

He giggled. "I bet that I can be a better rabbit than you!"

  "Nu-uh!" I told him.

  "Ya-uh!" Bakugou shot back.

"Fine! But I'm a better dragon!" I rubbed in.

"Speaking if dragons, can you transform into one?" He asked me.

I nodded. "Yep!" I closed my eyes and thought about dragon things. When I opened them again, I was a small dragon. Bakugou was towering over me. I felt like a dog.

"How come you're so small?" He asked.

I squeaked before realizing that I can't speak. I tilted my head then shrugged.

"Race ya to the woods!" Bakugou darted towards the woods. I raced after him, pulling forward with my new thin body. I made it first. "No fair!" He pouted. I smiled and climbed up a tree. Bakugou followed.

When we were comfily on a branch, I turned back to a human and yawned. "It's dark out here."

"Yeah." Bakugou agreed. He suddenly hit me. "Don't sleep yet. Look up." He pointed towards the sky. Millions of stars glittered above.

"Wow..." I gazed up and held Bakugou's hand.

"I know. Can you fly up there?" He asked.

I nodded. "I know how to fly, but I don't want to right now."

He looked over at me. "Promise me that you'll show me how to fly tomorrow?"

"I promise." We fell asleep soon after that.

----------------

We woke up to something underneath the tree. I jolted up and grabbed Bakugou's hand. "What's happening?" He asked sleepily.

"I don't kno-" Something suddenly grabbed my legs and pulled us down. I screamed and Bakugou latched onto a branch. "Don't let go!"

"I won't! Hold on!" He yelled. He tried to pull us onto the branch.

"Let go you little brats!" A deep voice yelled.

"No! Eat Bark old man!" Bakugou scraped bark off of the tree and aimed the trail at the guy.

This made the guy yank on my legs, pulling me down but leaving Bakugou behind. He grabbed me tightly around the waist. "Bakugou!"

"Kirishima!" He tried to climb down as fast as he could, but the guy put me inside a cage and drove away. He had icy blue eyes and red hair. He was also really tall and had fancy clothing. Probably a King.

"I never taught you how to fly..."
