Eren :" *sighs* Fiiiiine, I've told to mom everything that happened, the battle in Trost, the fact that we were both caught and brought into a martial court, along with the fact that you had gone with the Military Police. I-I didn't told her anything about why we were brought in or the fact that I'm a Titan Shifter as well, I thought that she wasn't ready to know that yet since I-I didn't know how she would react.", he said towards the white haired teen, making the latter to nod. At least their mother wasn't worried sick about him so that's a plus.

Following the reunion of Raphael with the trio, they had went at the cafeteria to get themselves something to eat and judging by the smell alone, it seemed that some kind of soup was in the menu which was great news for them since doing the initiation test - or in Eren's, Mikasa's and Armin's place, watching it - could really help with working up an appetite.

Once they had arrived at the cafeteria and after they had taken their portions of their meal if someone wanted to be specific about it, they had taken a place to eat in peace, but that 'peace' didn't last long, mainly due to the fact that some cadets had came to sit down at the same table with them.

Connie : "How's it going? *looks at Raphael* Is he the new guy?", he said to them, although his question was mainly towards Raphael.

Eren : "The day was getting kinda peachy, until we knew that our brother is alive and well", he said to them.

Sasha : "Wait a second? The new guy is your brother? How so? You don't even look alike", she said to them, basically bombarding Mikasa and Eren with questions, until Raphael had sighed at her words.

Raphael : "If that solves your questions, I was adopted by the Yeager family when I was at their age.", the white haired teen said to her, albeit in a hushed down tone, making her to calm down seeing that she was treading at personal grounds, understanding that she shouldn't be nosy about it.

(A/n : At the table where the Survey Corps Commanders and the Captains were sitting at)

Everything was going calmly, the new cadet, Raphael, had been properly introduced and initiated into the Survey Corps after passing the test with flying colors mind you someone could think that everything was going well which was with the exception of a sertain easily irritable, short Captain. That Captain being none other than Levi Ackerman, the one who was known as the Humanity's Strongest Soldier.

Levi in his life was never jealous of someone. The hardships of his life in the Underground City, where he lived most of his life at in conditions in which many individuals may not have survived, could lead others to believe that someone who bears the title of Humanity's Strongest Soldier wouldn't have feelings or needs to be jealous.

Ironically enough to what was previously stated, there he was, sitting at the table with all the other high ranking officers of the Survey Corps and although the others were either planning on the upcoming expedition outside the walls or they were having a friendly chat whilst they were enjoying their meal, he was sitting in between them having a sour look at his face, stirring his tea.

Levi : '*In his mind* Why am I feeling jealous? How was this cadet able to surpass me that easily? S#¡t, I'm going to lose my mind if I continue thinking about it.', he thought to himself, not knowing deep within him what was that feeling that plagued him from inside.

Was it hatred? No, definitely not, he had felt what it felt like to hate others or be hated by others on daily basis outside the Survey Corps HQ. Was it jealousy perhaps? It sounded plausible, but not exactly there, he was supposed to be Humanity's Strongest Soldier, he shouldn't have any jealousy towards a cadet non the less. It wasn't like they were going to have Raphael promoted to a Captain any time soon!!

Hanji (A/n : I'm sorry if I butchered her name 😭) : "Levi? Leviiiiiiii?", the Section Commander said to him, snapping her fingers in front of his face, trying to break the Captain out of the latter's thought process and judging by his scowl once he looked at her, yup,... she managed to make him snap out of it quite effectively. (A/n : Also, in case some of you didn't wonder about it, Hanji is going to be having 'she' pronouns for this story (I have seen her having 'he' and 'they' pronouns in AoT related stories of other Wattpaders/authors on this platform so I can say that I've seen a lot of things 😅))

Levi : " Could you stop annoying me four eyes!? I'm trying to think about something", he said or to be more specific, groaned towards the Section Commander, having her to frown slightly at his words, but shortly afterwards get closer to his left ear.

Hanji : "*whispers into his ear* Is your thinking process revolving around the newcomer?", she whispered/asked him politely, having Levi's eyes to widen slightly in surprise at the fact that Hanji seemed to read him like an open book. Kinda funny since their entire conversation is written inside one.

Levi :" * whispers * Why are you being such a nosy b¡t€# about it all of a sudden?", he asked her in a curious yet vulgar tone as he took a sip out of his tea, albeit the fact that his voice was hushed down to the point of whispering. (A/n : Let's be serious about it, no matter the story or the many censorships around the globe in regards to Levi's,..... colorful dictionary, a Levi without his cussing is like a good anime without the haters)

Hanji : " *whispers* Levi being good at whispering!!? By the Walls, that's a first one!!", she whispered towards him in a teasy tone, unaffected by Levi's signature glare to the point she had snickered quietly at it, although if it was anyone else, they would have PISSED their pants just by seeing it.

Levi : " * whispers * Could you just tell me what you want and stop wasting my time quadclops!!? ", he whispered back in an irritated way.

Hanji : " * whispers * I can see that you are curious about him, your reaction is obvious.", she whispered to him.

Levi : "And what about it? Stop being so cryptic about it Hanji!!", he whisper/yelled towards her, using her name for once.

Hanji : " * whispers * I can admit that I'm curious about him too much more because although he's said to be related to Eren and Mikasa although being so much more different than them as you probably remember.", she whispered towards him, starting to get thrilled about the potential new discoveries that she would make by doing some experiments on him, but they had to be harmless due to the orders she and Morblit have gotten by Erwin that although both of the Yeager cadets were different from them, they were still fighting for the sake of humanity so they should be treated with the respect that any human being deserves. (A/n : Erwin's orders and the fact that they had given Raphael a cadet suit had happened in the time skip in between this chapter and the previous one)

Levi : " * In his mind* Great, just greeeeeeat I have another Yeager under my supervision and this one seems to hate my guts", he thought to himself, rubbing the bridge of his nose with a heavy sigh, getting flashbacks of Raphael lashing out towards him and once the flashbacks ended, he looked at Hanji and the fact that she was about to start drooling due to her being overly excited from the research ideas she had gotten in mind.

Being in the Survey Corps HQ for most of his life had allowed Levi to discover hidden traits from the behavior of every higher up, some of which were quite weird, some others were legitimately messed up. One of them being Hanji's overly excited behavior whenever she was going to research or do experiments on a Titan, something that he didn't want to know nothing about how it happened.

Levi : "* whispers * Hanji if you're about to drool uncontrollably once again, do it further away from either me or the meal", he whispered towards her with a heavy sigh.

Hanji : "* whispers * I was just getting thrilled of the potential experiments that I would do at the Yeager cadets. I won't hurt them severely as Erwin ordered, but they'll definitely allow us to learn more about them and their abilities!!! Imagine what could we potentially find about Titans from some harmless experiments Levi!! ", she whispered/yelled towards the short Captain who had groaned at her words. (A/n : My apologies, but I couldn't hold myself back any longer from doing this joke about Levi's height 😂 (I know that Levi is severely malnourished due to living in the Underground City as a kid so please don't hate me at the comment section if you didn't like the joke 💀))

Levi : " *In his mind* I swear to the Walls, this woman will be the end of me", he thought to himself with a groan.

Later on when every cadet and higher up had finished their meals, Hanji had went to the Yeager cadets, wanting to ask them about helping her out with an experiment of hers, earning a yelp from the younger Yeager, but one thing that she didn't expect were the suspicious glares she had gotten from both Mikasa and Raphael. Yup, they were totally related.

Mikasa : " What's that test going to involve?", she asked the Section Commander suspiciously about it, having a feeling in her gut that if in the previous experiment Erwin didn't tell Hanji to go easy on Eren, the scientist would do more than just a small check up as she called it. She was definitely not trusting her at all and now, after she had learned about what had happened to Raphael at the Military Police where they were about to mercilessly experiment on him, she didn't trust her at all. Raphael and Eren where basically the closest things to more than actual brothers she had ever gotten in her life and she wasn't going to lose them to the experiments of a psychopathic Section Commander.

Hanji : " The test is going to involve having Raphael to spar against Eren in their Titan forms in order for us to observe and see what are the similarities or differences in between their two different Titan types.
It's not going to be a fight until one of them is either dead or out for the count, I can assure you of this.",she said to her calmly as Eren and Raphael seemed to share a look for a split second. Raphael was actually looking up for this spar, but Eren well.... let's just say that he still remembers the beating he had gotten from Raphael's Titan back in the fight at the Trost District at the second siege of the Titans against humanity.

Raphael : "I'm okay with it, as long as Eren is okay with it as well", he said towards the Section Commander with a small shrug as the looks of all of them had turned towards the brunette, wanting for his answer since Hanji wouldn't forcefully get them to agree and do the science project right? Right?

Eren : "* sweats profusely * I-I.... *looks in between Hanji and Raphael at one side then averting his gaze at Mikasa and Armin * .... *sighs* okay I'll take part in it.", he said to them calmly, having Hanji to clap her hands together like a kid that had a bit too much sugar in its favorite food before going to sleep.

Hanji :" * claps her hands * Splendid!!! * readjusts her glasses * Meet me at the open area behind the Survey Corps HQ after some hours!! Armin, Eren and Mikasa, I think that you know pretty well where that place is located at, sooo before it's time to get to the testing area, why don't you go and show Raphael the place? ", she said to them politely, partly asking them about it and then she proceeded to run to only God knows where whilst she was giggling maniacally.

Some hours later after Mikasa, Eren and Armin had shown Raphael around at every place of the HQ, they had went to the testing field as Hanji called it.

The testing field itself was a big, spacious area at the back of the HQ, used by the higher ups for the practice of different types of training methods alongside the cadet groups that they were responsible for or by the Section Commander for different types of experiments. Speaking of which, she had met them at the training area, her right hand man - or to be more specific about it, right hand scientist -, Morblit, was following her in tow, holding what it seemed like a plethora of notes and notebooks.

They sure weren't going to hold back in taking notes of everything now, would they although it was kinda expected since Hanji didn't know either about if she was going to be able to do such an experiment or if the Yeager cadets were going to accept it.

Hanji : " Okay now that we're all here, let's do the last introduction for today. Morblit, I'm sure that you know by now Eren, Armin and Mikasa. *points to Raphael* This is Raphael, Eren's and Mikasa's older brother, also Raphael, this is Morblit, my assistant on currently supervising this experiment. ", she said to them, introducing Morblit to Raphael and vice-versa.

Raphael/Morblit :" *In one voice * Nice to meet you.",they said to one another with a firm handshake.

Hanji :"Okay, now that you've been introduced to one another, I would like the both of the Yeager Cadets to be on each one of the opposing sides of the testing field for now since the experiment will undoubtedly need a bit of space to be done properly. As for the others that are here to observe and not take part in it, follow me. ", she said to them, motioning for Armin, Morblit and Mikasa to follow her. Mikasa was still a bit tense right now about it, despite the fact that Armin was trying to calm her down about it.

Hanji :"Eren!! Raphael!! You may transform whenever you're ready!!!", she shouted towards the Yeager cadets once she and the others were some meters away from the testing field.

Eren had smirked slightly at Hanji's words, it was time to put his Titan form to training against an actual quote-on-quote opponent. He had opened his mouth wide and then bit down on his hand, close to the thumb with enough force to draw blood.

After that a golden bolt of lightning had struck the brunette as steam, sparks, bones, muscle and skin tissues had come out of his body, transforming Eren into his Titan. The Attack Titan.

The Attack Titan was a 15 meters (approx 50 feet) tall ferocious humanoid being. His eyes were a bright teal with flecks of blue, mirroring in them the same spark of determination as the Titan's wielder. His ears were long and pointy, almost elven like whilst his hair were long, almost shoulder length and dark brown in color.

His Titan's body was that of a chiseled statue. His muscles were big to the point that someone could think that they would burst out of the skin if it wasn't for the regenerative prowess of the Titans, showing just the visual aspect of how much strength is concealed within them.

The Titan had, tilted his head backwards, opening his corpse like mouth slightly as streams of steam were coming out of it like a boiling kettle that lost its cover and then turned his head forward, roaring towards the white haired teen who couldn't help but smirk slightly.

Under normal circumstances seeing a Titan roar within ten meters proximity of you, without anything to be blocking the way of the Titan, it would be enough for a normal human, no matter the age or experience to quite literally urinate without control in his pants as he run away for dear life. That's right, a normal human. Raphael knew that he was no normal human, for that fact someone could be convinced that the white haired teen was not even human.

Now it was Raphael's turn to retaliate as he had taken a deep breath, closing his eyes, remembering all that pend up anger within him and then he had shouted. His shout seemed like a combination of that of a human and an eerie, almost demonic echo behind it, which was something that Hanji and Morblit had eagerly written down in their notebooks.

It appeared that different types of Titan wielders or to be more specific about it, Titan Shifters with the exception of having different types of Titans, they had different forms of shifting as well. There seemed to be more than meets the eye in regards to them which was making Hanji's research projects all the more interesting.

Unfortunately enough, they had to quickly cover their faces as what seemed to be an extremely bright, white bolt of lightning had came down from the heavens and hit the place where Raphael was standing at, triggering his transformation. A transformation that had Mikasa and Armin to wonder if it was actually successful.

A white bolt of lightning!? Wasn't the lightning bolts that struck the Titan shifters before their transformations supposed to be golden or yellow in color?!! Those were the worrying thoughts that were swirling and buzzing in Armin's and Mikasa's minds like a swarm of bees in a valley that were flying around, trying to find out the perfect flowers to draw nectar from.

For their misfortune, their worrying thoughts that they had were harshly confirmed to be true by the way that Eren's Titan was reacting towards Raphael's transformation. The Attack Titan that was thought to always be the fully offensive type of Titan, had taken a step back in hesitation.

His shoulders were tense and his eyes were wide. His pointy, elven like ears were close to his head and his corpse like mouth was opened agape in shock. The usually determined yet intimidating look at his face had long given its place to a look that reflected a mix of shock and surprise with a side of hesitation.

Why does he look so hesitant!?? This seemed to be the collective thought in the minds of everyone presented there whilst they took a look at the face of Eren's Titan. Once the dust cloud had been cleared, instead of being faced by the shiny reflection on the crystallized plating of Raphael's Excalibur Titan, they were met with something or to be more specific about it someone in a brand new light or in their case size.

Instead of seeing once again the Excalibur Titan, they had seen its wielder. His hair as white as the first snow were now kinda dusty from the dust cloud that had erupted when both he and the ground were struck by that incredibly bright lighting bolt. His outfit, one of a cadet in the Wings Of Freedom was dusted as well.

The dust itself wasn't the difference, everyone's clothes can get dirty once in a while, but oh well it wasn't something to be shocked about. The main difference was that the teen's body seemed to crackle with lightning, like a cloud on a stormy night as miniature lighting arcs were emitting from his body.

This still wasn't the thing that surprised both them and Eren to the point that his Titan seemed hesitant on what to do, but something else...

The one who was standing in front of them was Raphael Yeager himself, but the difference was that his transformation gave him what seemed like a growth spurt of let's say..... an eighteen meters (approximately fifty nine feet) tall to be exact!!!

Oh boi they sure weren't ready for that.

A/n : Hello everyone Son Raon here and I present to you the latest chapter of Humanity's Strongest Ally called Tests (Part 1) in this part I've finally made Canon to the story a certain Titan form that had piqued my interest in my time on Deviant Art. You'll see more about what Raphael's new form can do in the next chapter.

Additionally, I'll have to tell you that I would have finished this chapter way earlier if it wasn't for some personal problems and the fact that my previous saves of it got Thanos snapped out of existence, leaving me to rethink EVERYTHING I had written for this chapter be it either for the worst or for the best 😅
