Although it seemed that my happiness  would not last for this long since some other soldiers seeing that both Eren and Raphael had appeared from within the Titans was the reason for them to get them away from us, on their backs of their beige colored jackets we could see that they had an insignia similar to a unicorn which meant only one thing. Garrison Corps. Oh boy things are going to get complicated.

(A/n : Raphael's POV)

I was starting to come back to being conscious as evident from being able to hear the voices of others instead of the ringing sound that was tortuous for my ears.

I had opened my eyes slowly due to them being still heavy due to the fact that my transformation had seemed to drain my stamina quite a lot and once my blurry vision returned to normal I was greeted with light coming towards my eyes and tensed slightly seeing that the light was basically a reflection from the metallic gray muzzle of one of the rifles that were turned towards us.

Me : " W-What happened?", I said in a groggy voice, trying to stand up, but it seemed that my body didn't thought of it as a good idea due to the fact that my feet were shaking and I would have almost collapsed if it wasn't for Armin helping me out.

Armin : " Long story short, both you and Eren had turned into Titans and after saving us and the HQ, you basically decided to fight against one another resulting to both of you being unconscious. Now the Garrison Regime thinks of you as monsters.", he said to me with a small sigh, giving me the brief explanation of why my half Titan senses were acting like crazy at the smell of fear and possibly urine.

Garrison Cadet :" * looks at his captain* S-Sir, one of the monsters has awoken, what should we do? ", a cadet asked his superior, a fairly tall man that had brown beard and hair, a big forehead and wide, hazel eyes.

I remembered him from back in the training days that his name was Captain Kitz Woermann, this isn't going to end well since we had learned that he's quite the stubborn one to try to persuade once he had his mind on something which on sertain situations would be either a blessing or a curse, but right now in our current condition it seems that it's the latter.

Kitz Woermann : " YEAGER CADETS ARE YOU HUMANS OR TITANS!!!", he shouted towards us, making our eyes,... well mostly Eren's to widen in both shock and horror of knowing that he had became what he had sworn to destroy.

Eren :" What the hell do you mean!? People are dying right now in the hands of the Titans and the thing that you have in your mind right now is what we are!?", he said to him rather rudely, fear seemed to take control over his actions like a marionette at the hands of a puppet master who knows how to move the strings, an answer that Captain Kitz seemed to not take lightly.

Officer Kitz :" SO THE FACT THAT YOU BOTH HAD RAISED FROM THE NAPES OF YOUR TITANS LIKE DEMONS DOESN'T MATTER!!! I'LL ASK YOU ONE LAST TIME!!!! ARE YOU HUMANS OR TITANS!!!?", he shouted yet another time, his voice seemed to crack due to the strain he was putting on his vocal chords, but the sheer volume alone was enough to make my ears to ache since having enhanced hearing came with disadvantages.

Eren :" WE'RE HUMANS!!! ", he shouted back which was true for him, but for me in reality it couldn't be any further due to the fact that although I seem to be human, I still have the characteristics and the blood of the Titans coursing through my body, but it would be better for the both of us if it didn't came into their knowledge.

Kitz Woermann : " It seems that I'll have to get more drastic measures since it seems that you are taking the Garrison Regiment for utter fools. * looks at the soldiers and cadets present near the two cannons * On my mark. Aim. FIRE!!! ", he said to them and by the thought alone that my comrades from one of the Regiments, the one that was fighting by our side had shot us made my blood to boil.

(A/n : Mikasa's POV)

Both I and Armin had gasped seeing the sparks flowing out of Raphael's body backing up unconsciously , but we were brought back to reality by Eren who had grabbed both of us and bit his thumb in instinct, sparks and steam began to flow freely from his body as bones, tendons and muscle tissue had started to form out of thin air around us, having us to close our eyes.

Once we had opened our eyes, they had gone wide in shock seeing that we were in the ribcage of an imperfectly formed Titan and tensed slightly hearing a loud clanging noise like a metal being shattered apart to millions of pieces due to the collision with an object and gasped slightly seeing the lower part, from the ankle and down of two massive feet clad in a silvery crystallized armor which meant one thing, Raphael had fully transformed into his Titan form.

Armin : " What do we do now!?", he asked in a panicked voice hearing a guttural growl from the outside which meant that Raphael wasn't that calm by Captain Kitz's doings.

Me : " I'll try to calm Raphael down if possible but Armin we're going to need you to talk to them and try to persuade them that we are not the enemy here and try to think of a plan.", I said to him.

Armin : " W-Why do I have to be the one to do this?", he whimpered.

Me :" It's because of the fact that you're the most academically bright person that we know and can rely on in this matter. You're needed to do this Armin, we believe in you. Also for you Eren, try not to do anything stupid. ", I said to them, proceeding to get out of the imperfect Titan's ribcage along with Armin, having Eren to groan slightly.

(A/n : Author's POV. Armin's speech is exactly the same as in the anime. The interactions between Mikasa and Raphael had happened in the background.)

After leaving the imperfect Titan's ribcage, Mikasa had went towards the looming Excalibur Titan that in reality was her older brother, Raphael.

Jean : " MIKASA, STAY AWAY FROM THE TITAN!!!", he said to her, not knowing if Raphael was to be trusted by them, due to the fact that the look of his Titan's face was like a feral animal, ready to lash out to anyone who would dare to provoke him.

Mikasa had still ignored Jean's tough act of trying to seem like he was a fearless guy and still walked closer to Raphael's Excalibur Titan, getting a hand on the dark crystal plating on his thigh and feeling how smooth yet warm it was.

Mikasa : " * looks towards Raphael's golden eyes * Raphael, could you pick me up?", she said to him, being completely calm about the situation, despite the fact that a massive almost fully crystal clad hand was near her.

She had tensed slightly, expecting him to pick her up as she had said, but was surprised to see that Raphael's massive hand was with its palm up, as if he was expecting her to get on to which she had done, feeling the slightly rough yet squishy surface of his hand under her boots and once she was stationed on the center of his palm, she had given him an 'okay' sign and felt the gravity changing beneath her as she was moved upwards, getting a small glimpse of the shrapnel of the cannonball that had been shot towards him. She was surprised by the fact that someone so big and imposing would be so gentle and kind.

She had seen his face mask opening, making some of the cadets to tense and think that this was it for her, only for their faces to turn from terror to shock and awestruck surprise in a split second, hearing him talk.

Raphael : " What do you want shortie?", he asked her politely, making Mikasa to slightly pout to his words, but regain her composure shortly afterwards.

Mikasa : " Calm down, you've already shown them that your Titan form is not to be messed with so why do you bother to scare them more than you already have done?", she said to him calmly, partly asking him about it, seeing him sigh slightly as steam was coming from his mouth and the slits where his cheeks were.

Raphael :" * sighs softly * I don't care if others call me a monster, I only want for you, Eren, Armin, Carla and the others to be safe and well. Is it that bad for someone to care about his family?", he said to her calmly, proceeding to gently nuzzle her, emitting a soft purring sound similar to an affectionate cat, making some of the people present to be quite in awe from the scene, not expecting a Titan to purr and a sertain Section Captain to squeal in excitement from her hidden spot along with some other Survey Corp higher-ups.

Mikasa : " * giggles lightly looking at him * You are a really big softie when you want to, don't you?", she asked him politely, albeit in a teasing way, slightly caressing his nose, making the three quarters Titan to chuckle.

Raphael : " * rolls his golden eyes to her shenanigans * Only to an adorable shortie like you ", he retorted at her and gently placed her on the ground, not knowing that unbeknownst to him Mikasa had a pinkish tint on her otherwise pale cheeks from his tease and couldn't help but chuckle slightly seeing that he actually stood up and did a military salute towards the Garrison Commander Dot Pixis, making the old Commander to blink slightly in surprise.

Commander Pixis : " * chuckles * Well look at this, I never thought that I would see the day that a cadet that could turn into a Titan would salute a regular human.", he admitted with a small chuckle.

Captain Woermann : " * salutes * C-Commander Pixis!!!", he said frantically.

Commander Pixis :" What's the cause of the today's ruckus Woermann? ", he said to him.

Captain Woermann :" The reason for the court martial is that we have found two traitors in our ranks by the names of Raphael Yeager and Eren Yeager. We suspect that both of them are Titans with the ability to shift into humans and talk to us trying to manipulate us.", he said to his superior who had sighed heavily, dissatisfied at the Captain's words which Captain had earned a low yet menacing growl from Raphael, who had calmed down instantly when Mikasa had given him one of her signature ice cold glares.

Commander Pixis : " * sighs heavily * I don't think that's the true reason for those things to happen since I had heard about the fact that you had acted out of fear than rationality, which would had resulted in the death of the only people who would turn the tides of this unfavorable war. Also, the fact that the one whom was still in his Titan form didn't growl in order to threaten openly anyone, just to protect his friends similar to what someone would do at this point. ", he said to him, making Captain Woermann to gulp nervously as the Commander had taken a step forward.

Commander Pixis :" Cadets Raphael Yeager and Eren Yeager, please get out of your Titans and follow me on top of the wall, we have pressing matters to tell to the others.", he said to them and by using his ODM Gear he had gotten on top of the massive wall Rose with Raphael and Eren following by.

Commander Pixis :" * nods * I see. *looks at the others * Everyone!! May I have your attention? Today is an excellent day for humanity since we have a chance of actually managing to secure the wall. * looks at Eren and Raphael * Those two are the Yeager cadets!! Both are gifted with the astonishing power of creating a Titan body and manage to control and manipulate as if they were their own!!! I think that most of you remember the huge boulder that's located about a league away from where it was launched from; Our plan is to actually get Eren with his Titan to lift it up and the rest of you along with Raphael's Titan to try and get the job done by protecting Eren until he manages to plug the hole in the wall!!! ", he said to them, shouting to the top of his lungs in order for the rest of the cadets and soldiers alike to be able to hear him even though he was 60 meters above the ground. The soldiers themselves had tensed at his words and some of them were going to try to leave.

Cadet #1 : " I have more meaningful things to do than give my life protecting two Titans", she said, getting ready to leave.

Cadet #2 : " And how do we know that they won't decide to snack on us if they succeed? A Titan in a human's body is still a Titan, but one that I wouldn't want to deal with", he said to them, also getting ready to leave

Captain Woermann : " Where do you think you're going!!!? Deserting your posts will be seen as ethnic treason and be punished by death!!!", he said to them, getting ready to get his blades out.

Their words about betraying their posts and trust to them even if they are different than them was enough to make Raphael to growl lowly, getting both Pixis and Eren in alert on what he was going to do, especially when he had jumped from the top of the wall, lightning and sparks flying around him as he had turned into his Titan form, the Excalibur Titan and once on ground he had emitted a powerful roar, enough to turn the soldiers, cadets and captains alike attention towards him and then he had opened his mouth plate.

Raphael : " Soldiers, Cadets and Captains of the infamous wall Rose and beyond. My name is Raphael Yeager and as you heard by the respectable Commander Pixis himself, I'm able to shift to a Titan, but keep in mind that one day I still used to be one of you, even have the same life as some of you.
Alas, my own life wasn't easier than any one of yours, I have lost people that I consider as family and friends, I had bled, I had cried and I had lived by the side of humanity for as long as I could remember myself.
The thing is that in my life I've learned some important things, one of them is the trust, I know that I might not be the one to be truly trusted by some of you since I can turn into a Titan, but I have grown sick and tired of seeing that humanity always retreated when the Titans did as much as bare their teeth to them!!! Right now it's another day, a day that humanity has the will and means to fight back against the imminent threat of the Titans, to get a better future for all the people of Paradis!!
Right now some of you might have made their minds to leave, but think about how would you like to be remembered as, either you leave with the tail in between your legs and you're remembered as cowards or you stand and fight to your last breath and be remembered as heroes, because it's in the most desperate of times that the brightest of hopes rekindle!!! So are you going to protect your hopes and right to live or are you going to give your soul and heart to the cause and fight!!! ", he said to them, followed by the signature military salute trying to boost their morale.

Cadets/Soldiers /Captains :" * salute militarily * We are!!! ", they shouted with all their might as one and Raphael then looked back at Commander Pixis awaiting the next order.

Commander Pixis : " Now come on then!!! We have a wall to save and a future to secure!!!", he said to them as they were getting ready to get their plan in action.

Eren : ' *In his mind * Not even in my wildest dreams I would have thought of you being the one instead of Armin to do a speech like this. It seems that it's not only your Titan the one that is full of surprises, but for you as well as a person, there are more than meets the eye. ', he thought to himself out of respect to his older brother and then went to meet him in person, not noticing that someone else was watching the entire speech far away from plain view.

Carla :' * In her mind * It appears that you proven to be once again the most mature son that I ever had, Grisha would be proud of seeing that you were able enough to get every person to hear your voice and believe in you.', she thought to herself with a small yet proud smile, before she had gotten to the innermost wall with the help of a Military Police Officer.
