Scene opens into a dark room with many man-size preservation pods and in each one of them is a Human-being. Inside the pods was very cold temperature in order to preserve the humans inside and in there were a total of 12 of them inside the room. Each of the humans had masks on their faces to keep them breathing  and alive.

In the center of the room there was a control panel with most of the electronics currently dark and untouched. Then suddenly one of the screens to the panel lit up and had the words 'Waking up subjects' in bold white words. Then the screen then showed the conditions of the pods from sleeping to waking up. The ice inside the pods then started to thaw out and the people inside started to move around. 

Then one by one the pods opened up and out came all the humans that were inside of them falling onto the ground. Some of them groaned in pain as they got up from the ground and stood up to see where they were. One of them at the end of the right side row looked to the others that got out of their pods. 

'Arg...man, what happened?' Peyton asked himself as he looked at the others as they woke up. 'who are the rest of these people here?'

'Wait I know some of them.' Peyton thought as he saw his brother and a couple of friends in just a couple pods over.

He noticed that their were 9 males and 3 females present and they were all just wearing underwear and a military shirt. Looking away quickly he then noticed a big screen TV at the end of the room and it suddenly turned on with a screen that said 'please wait' in bold white letters. 

'Maybe this will have some answers.' Peyton thought.

"Hey everyone!" He called out. "Over here! This might tell us why we are here!"

Soon all the others gathered around the TV and made sure they weren't touching each other and soon the TV then show the image of a both a US Army General and a US Marine General.

"Hello, by the time you are watching this you have probably awoke from your preservation pods and are now wondering where you are." The Army general started. "Well before we get to that I am General George Packers."

"And I am General William Davidson." The Marine General Spoke. "Now as for where you are is simple, your in a secret lab located somewhere in Japan, we don't know of its exact location at it is classified."

"That's right." General George said. "And as for why you are here is because of an attack from space, aliens invaded our beloved world and used machine life forms to wipe out the human population."

Everyone was shocked at what General George stated and for some of us it sounded completely unbelievable. That is until a small video played in the bottom right corner of the screen showing these so called "Machines" attacking and killing humans. Not only that but they were also destroying buildings left and right. As everyone in the group watched the machines tear apart anything in their way the feeling of anger and hatred then filled everyone who was present.

"How is this even possible?" Taylor asked himself as some shrugged their shoulders. "I never knew about this."

"Neither did I." Jeffery added. 

"This is why these labs were made to both hide and preserve you for a extended period of time so you can go out and reclaim your home planet!" General William said. "Now their are other preservation labs all across the world in hidden locations and its your job to wake up the rest of them and united together against the Machines!"

"Yes, the grave responsibility of humanity's survival rest upon you and all the others who were preserved." General George explained. "It is your job to ensure Humanity will never go Extinct!"

"Your clothes should be in your lockers labeled with all over your names." General William explained. "Along with your weapons you will be needing, there should be some signs there that will pointed you all in the correct direction."

"Well now that you all know the mission, get your gear on and get out there!" General George ordered. "You are Humanities last Hope! Good luck!"

"May God watch over you and guide your way!" General William supported. "Semper Fi!"

The Screen then shut off then went black and everyone in the room just looked at one another to process what they had just seen. "Humanities last hope" they said and boy that was a lot to take in for everyone.  There was then an awkward silence between everyone until Peyton decided to break it. 

"Well might as well get to know everyone here so how about we all introduce ourselves?" Peyton asked, everyone nodded. "Alright I'll go first, I am Sergeant Peyton Peterson of the US Marine Corps 2nd battalion 1st Marines, whose next?"

"I'll go." Taylor said. "I am Sergeant Taylor Peterson of the US Army with the 101st Airborne division."

"Sergeant Jeffery Wade of the US Marine Corps 1st battalion 5th Marines." Jeffery said. 

"Sergeant 1st class Cody Martin, US Army 501st Aveorator Battalion." Cody said then one of the girls stepped up.

"Private first class Jade Wells, US Army National Guard." Jade introduced herself. "I hope we all get along."

"Lance Corporal Michael Twombles Philips of the British Army SAS." Michael said in a British accent. 

"Sergeant Dexter Garcia of the Philippine Marines." Dexter said in his Philippine accent.

"Staff Sergeant Bakers Wills, US Army 2nd rangers." Bakers introduced himself.

"1st Lieutenant Turner Davidson, US Marine Corps 5th Marines." Turner said.

"1st Lieutenant Yoji Itami of the JSDF." Itami said in a Japanese accent. (Yes he's in my story cause I think he fits into it well because he Modern Military. Guess what Anime he's from.)

"Sergeant first class Kuribayashi Shino of the JSDF (Japanese self defense force.)" Kuribayashi said. (This is what she looks like.)

"And I am Sergeant first class Kurokawa Mari of the JSDF." Kurokawa said. "Nice to meet you all."

Then everyone in the group looked at one another as it was surprising to find many military people from a few different nations all together in one place.

"Well introductions aside, I think we should go get our clothes on." Peyton said. "I don't think we will be combat approved if we go out just dressed in underwear."

Everyone then realized what I said and then we all went out of the preservation chamber and followed the signs to the locker rooms. The boys went into the men's locker room and the girls went into their locker room. In their locker rooms they all went to their lockers that had their names on them and opened them. However in everyone's locker was a strange-looking devise that looked like it went on their wrist.

It was a very odd device and it said 'pip-boy' at the top above the screen so that is must have been the devises name. In front of the 'pip-boy' was a small paper that looked like it was the instructions of how to use and operate a 'pip-boy' and what it was used for; mostly storage of items and tells of each part of your body is injured anywhere. 

After everyone had put on their respected uniforms everyone put the devise on their left arms and then strapped it to make sure it wouldn't fall off. Then everyone loaded up their weapons and took them out of their lockers. (These are the lockers)

"Ah...M16A1, How I have missed you." Peyton said as he slung his M1 Garand over his shoulder and pulled out his M16A1 with M203. Surprising the weapons, gear, and uniforms in the locker were all in good condition despite the place looking abandoned for a long time. "I have to admit this pip-boy device is certainly gonna come it handy."

Time skip to much later...

After everyone had gotten ready the 12 then headed to where the exit was located so they could go out and reclaim the earth. While on the way they were all talking with one another of what to expect when they go out to see the world. 

"So Jeffery, what do you expect to see when we see the world after soo long?" Taylor asked as they neared the exit which was a set of 2 giant steel doors that slid apart from each other to open to outside. 

"I don't know." Jeffery replied. "Abandon buildings, machine life forms everywhere, you know bad things."

"Oh don't think like that Jeffery." Peyton said. "There could be some good things out there, just give it time."

"Yeah besides if any machines get it the way." Cody started showing off his M4. "I have this to **** them up."

"Well were about to see." Jade said as the doors to the laboratory opened and bright sun light suddenly blocked everyone's vision as they approached the exit. What waited for them on the other side was something none of them could predict.

However I will update again as soon as possible now that I have a couple weeks off from college so no worries there.
