Back with the main group they were still waiting on the top of the steep dirt hill for the scouts to return and report if it was safe or not. 

"They've been gone for a while now." Itami said. "Do you think we should go after them?"

"No not yet, lets give them a couple more minutes." Turner said looking in the direction where Peyton and Kuribayashi took off to. Taylor on the other hand was a little bit nervous knowing that his younger brother hadn't come back yet.

"You feeling alright bro?" Cody asked. 

"Yeah, sort of." Taylor answered.

"Worried about Peyton?" Cody asked. 

"Well I would be lying if I said I wasn't." Taylor expressed. "I just don't understand what motivates him to do such things." 

"I guess its just in his nature." Cody said. "Maybe he likes taking risks." 

"That's what worries me." Taylor said. 

"Hey Lieutenant!" A familiar voice shouted. "Come on down its safe!"

The group then saw the two scouts with the marine waving his hand to motion them to come down from the hill. 

"Well look at that." Turner said. "Never had a doubt, well lets get going!"

With that the rest of the group then made their way down the hill to regroup with their scouts, but as the group approached they noticed a couple of people dressed in black clothing.

"Good to see you two alive." Turner said and then looked to 2B and 9S. "And it seems you found some locals."

"Well, sort of sir..." Peyton said. 

"What do mean by that sergeant?" Turner asked.

"Well, they are not human..." Peyton trailed off. "They are androids... or so they say."

"Androids?" Itami asked.

"Yep!" 9S replied. "Yorha androids to be exact."

"Yorha?" Turner asked. 

"Its the organization that we represent." 2B answered. "And its our job to protect humanity from the machines that invaded."

"Is that so?" Turner asked. "Well I'd say your not doing a good enough job."

"We are doing the best we can." 2B stated sternly. 

"Well, I guess we could give you an edge on the machines." Taylor said. "That's why we are here."

"Heck yeah! We can smash those rust buckets to scrap!" Cody said.

"Huh, I would have never thought to be fighting alongside humans." 9S said as he smiled. 

"Hey I never thought to be working along side androids." Peyton said. "It may be a nice experience."

"Well, since we ran into you we'll contact the commander and inform her on the situation." 2B stated. "But we should head closer to the resistance base to make sure we don't get ambushed." 

"Good idea ma'am." Turner said.

"Don't call me ma'am." 2B said. "My designation is unit 2B."

"Okay... 2B, lead the way." Turner said.

After that the group then made their way to the resistance camp in order to be in a safer location from the machines. But as the group made their way to the camp 9S and Peyton were having a conversation on what human life was like before the machines came.

"So you and Taylor are really biological brothers?" 9S asked.  

"Yep, he is five years older then I am." Peyton answered. "And honestly, I don't think I could ask for a better older brother, he is a perfect match with me."

"So, do you remember any good memories you and your brother had?" the Yorha scanner model asked. 

"Plenty." Peyton replied. "And then there are those that are not so memorable." 

"What do you mean by that?" 9S asked. 

"Well, during one of our vacations down to Branson, Missouri I made the saying 'Family memories, not all of them are good' and to be honest I think it is very true." Peyton said. (A/N: I did say this at one point in my life.)

"Well, that is interesting." 9S said. "So not all memories you have had with your brother are memorable?" 

"Only a few, there are still plenty that I hold dear to my heart." Peyton replied. 

Soon the group arrived back at the resistances camp and was a big shock to all the androids there as they hadn't seen humans in a while. The group of humans meanwhile we rather underwhelmed by the size of the android resistance as they thought it would be a little bit bigger then it was. But credit where it is due as they were able to survive as long as they have so far.  

"So this is the resistance camp huh?" Turner asked and the scanner android nodded. "Well it doesn't look like much, but it will do for now."

"9S contact the bunker." 2B ordered.

"Right away 2B!" 9S exclaimed and contacted the command bunker and in only a few seconds someone pick up.

"Operator 21O here." The voice said.

"9S reporting." The scanner model android said.

"What do have to report now 9S?" Operator 21O asked sounding very unenthusiastic. 

"Well... we sort of found some humans." 9S replied. 

"Humans?" The Operator 21O asked a little shocked.

"Yeah, it's hard to believe but its true." 9S said and then turned the camera to the group. "See?"

"Hello!" Peyton said as he waved to the camera. 

"So could you put us through to the commander?" 9S asked. 

"Just a moment." 21O said as she contacted the commander. Soon a woman with blonde hair appearing on the screen. 

(This is her...)

"9S you wished to speak with me?" the commander asked. 

"Yes, we found a group of humans on earth." 9S explained.

"Humans?" The commander asked a little surprised. "On the planet surface?"

"That's correct commander." Turner said as he appeared in the camera. "100% red blood and real flesh."

"And who are you?" The commander asked.

"1st Lieutenant Turner Davidson, US Marine corps." Turner replied.  

"Huh, I haven't seen humans in a long time." The commander stated. "Where did you all come from?"

"Well, we all woke up from stasis pods in a underground facility not too far from this camp." Turner explained. "Apparently we were frozen for a while to be preserved and then to be released after a certain amount of time." 

"You were frozen?" The commander asked. "When?"

"Well we believe we were put into the pods in the year 2019, but we didn't know why at the time." Turner answered. 

"Hmm, I believe we need to discuss this more in person." The commander said. "What says you Lieutenant?"

"It would be better to talk in person rather then on radio." Turner said. "How are we being transported thought?" 

"We will send down a transport ship that is capable of space flight." The commander said. 

"Space flight?" Turner asked.

"Yes, our base is located on the moon." The commander explained and all the humans in the group then showed a face of shock on their faces. 

"Um, I'm sorry could you say that again, because I'm sure you just said your base was on the moon." Turner said a little bit shocked. 

"Well, it is Lieutenant." The commander explained. "Our base is located on the moon."

"Well I'll believe it when I see it." Turner said.

A few minutes later...

After relocating to a more open area the group of humans waited for the YoRHa transport to arrive it was only about 15 minutes before the group heard what sounded like jet engines. The group then look up into the sky and saw a interesting looking craft coming down from the sky.

"Well, I wasn't expecting that." Turner said as the transport landed in front of them and a ramp to the side of it came down. Soon after a female android walked out to greet the group.

"Are you the Humans that need transport?" She asked.

"That would be us." Turner said. 

"Well your transport awaits!" She exclaimed. 

Soon the group then started to board the transport and inside were six rows of three aircraft looking chairs.

"So where do we put our weapons?" Peyton asked.

"There are storage containers just above your seats, you can store your weapons there." The Female android said. 

A little while later...

After securing their weapons in the upper containers  the group of humans took their seats in the craft and soon took off to the moon. While on the way up to the base 9S talked more with Peyton on how human life was before the machines attacked. 

"So what made you join your nations military?" 9S asked.

"Well, I wanted something more then just my part-time job I worked at, and so after I graduated from a two-year college I enlisted with the us marine corps." Peyton explained. "And I wanted to one up my brother who is army."

"So you a bit of rivalry between each other do you?" 9S asked. 

"It's a small brotherly rivalry but yes." Peyton said. "It's only natural for brothers to want to be rivals at certain things."

"It's natural huh?" 9S said.

"Yep." Peyton said as he then looked out the side window and saw that they were entering space. "You know, I've always dreamed of going to space."

"Really?" the young scanner android asked. 

"Yeah, just never thought I would go to space just to be on a base on the moon." Peyton said. "Sounds like something out of a videogame or something." 

"Well, I think you will find out base on the moon very enjoyable." 9S stated. As the two chatted for a bit more Peyton noticed the moon base that was coming up.

"Wow, is that your base?" Peyton asked in amazement when he saw the size of it. 

"Neat huh?" 9S asked.

"It's huge!" Peyton said. "I think that's bigger the international space station!" 

"Well, it was made that big to accommodate our needs." 9S explained. "It's big enough for us to do our work."  

"Huh, well now I can't wait to see it!" Peyton exclaimed. "Say nines, if we have spare time would you mind giving me a tour of the place?"

"I wouldn't mind." 9S replied.

"Awesome!" Peyton said. 

A little while later...

The transport then came into the docking bay where it landed safely with no errors done at all. Soon the group were told to leave their weapons in the transport as others would come and collect the and later return them to the group. Once the humans had made it off the transport, they looked at the bunker in awe. To say the least they were impressed that the group of androids had managed to build such a base and, on the moon, no less. 

"Well, for a moon base this wasn't what I had in mind." Taylor said.

"I was expecting it to be on the surface of the moon." Jeffery said. "Kinda like in black ops 1 zombies."

"Well, it's in the orbit of the moon." Cody said. "So, is that close enough?"

"I would say ish." Peyton said. "We are still near the moon after all."

"But in orbit thought." Cody reminded.

"Well, it's in orbit so we can still get to earth's surface in case there's an emergency." 9S explained.

"Well, that makes sense." Peyton said. The group was then escorted to the command center to have a chat with the commander. After a little while the group made it to the big command center of the bunker and there in the middle of all the desks where the androids were doing their own jobs. 

"Well come to the bunker lieutenant Davidson." Commander white said. "I hope your journey was smooth." 

"It was comfortable enough." Turner said. "So, still believe we are humans?"

"At first, I wasn't so sure." The commander started. "But now seeing you in person, I can tell you are humans." 

"That quick huh?" Turner said.

"Well, I'm the commander for a reason." She stated. "Anyways it's nice to see humans after a very long time." 

"A bit of change is always nice." Itami said. "Especially after a long time."

"I'll say." The commander said. "Anyways now that your here we can discuss how long you were in your pods."

"Well, we all agreed we were put into those pods around the year 2019." Turner said. "Although none of us are sure of what the current year is now."

"Well, the year is 11945." The commander answered and that left the group of humans looking a little pale.

"11945?" Turner asked. "That would add..."

"9,926 years to our lives." Peyton answered as everyone then turned to look at him. "What I'm really good at math."

"So, almost ten-thousand years we were in those pods." Taylor said with shock.

"Thats a long-ass time dude." Cody said. "I'm just glad none of those pods failed to keep us alive."

"9,926 years though dude." Peyton said.

"Whoever made those pods knew what they were doing." Jade said. The group then kept chatting about the number of years they were preserved for until commander White broke it up.

"As interesting as this topic is we need to discuss how we can beat the robots." The commander said and it was then Turner turned to the YoRHa commander with a serious face.

"Okay then, how can we help?" Turner asked as commander white smiled.
