But you had to escape soon. Because just as he said, you were needed to stay alive as long till his little research about you was finished. It gave you shivers all over.

Nevertheless. With one turn from your head you had one last peek at the giant machine and the probably one escape there was. As you left the room. Walking diagonally behind the professor made you question where you were going to sleep. Was it going to be the cold stone floor or in some hammock with a thin broken rug? It got you full of excitement. Not. You were not excited about this. Well that you were allowed to sleep was not disappointing you. But just like the shower it disappointed you. Remember? When you had no privacy? But with a few turns over the gross floor. You both reached one of the endings from one hall. It was a space as big as the average house surface. And some sort of weird softer flaps on the floor. Around one or twee feet away form eachother. You had no interest in counting them.

But then some light yellow a like car with dents. Pushed a sort of  mattress into the room. Looking at you, scrolling you over as he then eyed to the professor. Then leaving as you and the professor were now alone. Again. "I assume you would rather sleep on that instead of the ground" he said. Hiding the way how he liked to see someone suffer. But wasn't finished talking. You just stared a bit down at him. "And you seem to like deals, so here is my deal. You give me your age human, and I won't take this from you" he said referring to the mattress. That bastard. "I'm going to sleep on that" you said. Already determined to give out your age for his project details. Sooner or later he would discover it anyway. You kicked something invisible with your right foot as you folded your arms. "22" you said. Or well spat. Nothing left the small german car.

"They are going to wake you up at 7. Be sure you are ready by then" the professor said already turning away. Great. You unfolded your arms. You kept watching him until he was fully gone. But then scrolled your eyes back to the thing you were going to sleep on. Kneeling down as you used both hands to lift it up from one side. The top was cleaner then you expected. But the bottom side. Well that was almost pitch black. You dropped it. "Eew" you said out loud as you wiped your hands against your pants. Well that car had been pushing it over the floor.

You shook your head as you sat down onto your new bed. Pushing your knees up your chest as you kept watching on the hall. Why did they had to discover you? The people from this Radiator Springs, they were so nice. You missed them. Especially doc. And you've been so much in thought you didn't realize someone now was in front of you. As your eyes focused on the front as you gave out a soft gasp from shock. "Am I that scary or something?" The forklifter said. You looked up at him in suprise. Before standing up, stepping between the two metal forks and wrapping your arms around him. The first time hugging a alive car or well forklifter. Before realizing what you were doing. You quickly let go. As you looked back at him. He only had a soft smile on his face. You gave him one in return. "Oh sorry Muggsy, it's just that I hate this place" you said talking a step back. In case he was uncomfortable. "I feel ya kid" he said. "This pace is rotten" almost speaking through his teeth. Well you could agree to that.

"I got you some water and chopped fruit" he said placing it down. "Thank you so much" you said happily. Food and water were so important. Especially since those lemons had almost no interest in giving you a decent meal. You still needed more then bread and fruit but this would definitely do for now. Muggsy shifted his front wheel. "What's on your mind?" You asked while sitting down and eating your fruit. "I heard you are going to work on the machine" he said. Which you nodded to. The truth has been revealed. Then you could see how he scrolled his eyes all the way down to the left side. Could he see his own dashboard or something? "I have to go back to my resting room and drink some oil" he said. Your smile faded. "I'll be back in the morning to wake you" he said as a comfort. "See you tomorrow" he said while turning around. "See you tomorrow" you waved him goodbye.

Welp, you finished your different kinds of fruit as you got back up. Now where was the toilet?. Or the loo as they called it here. Ah there it was.

There were two small rooms with male and female on them. You were about to walk into the female bathroom. But a hit of curiosity flew over you. But you know, you could have a small peek. If there was any difference. With a few turns from your head you found no nobody nearby. So that meant, exploring! It looked insanely funny how you crawled inside. Back against the wall. Straight. As you slowly moved through the door. And you saw- you saw- GROSSNESS. This wasn't cleaned in years! But at least the smell wasn't as bad. The grossness came from mostly bacteria and fungi that had formed everywhere. Except for the ceiling. You got out as you entered the ladies room. This was cleaner but still could use a big wash. But just as you learned back at Radiator Springs by that medical a like room. It was no surprise how this restroom looked.

As you were done, you pulled your pants back up and washed your hands. Twice. Just to make sure they were clean before you were going to sleep. Walking back to your new beautiful bed as you suddenly stopped while being confused. There was a clean thin blanket folded up. You grabbed it and held it in your hands as you looked around. There was still no glimpse of life. For now then.

You undid your shoes and socks and laid down. Using your arms as your pillow with the blanket over your whole body. It was quite big too. It covered the whole mattress, and that was almost a twin size. It came all the was up to your shoulder blades. And after some long minutes of keeping your eyes locked on the room entrance you fell asleep.
