It was the year of the shooting star of the comet, it only came once every hundred years. This was the only time were only going to see it. They say Jirachi, the wish maker pokemon, could grant any wish the person heart desires. You weren't here for that, regardless of how cool it sounded. You were just here to see the once in a life time comet. You toke out your (f/c) blanket and lad it out on the grass. Other families were here with their children. They ran around with their siblings, tacking them into the grass. It made you laugh, until your laugh caught the attention of a man. You didn't notice he was right by you as you continued to giggle at the little children.

"What's so funny girl?" His voice made you jump. You turn around and see a man with a white jacket and a mini star hat on him. You thought he weird to have a hat like until you remembered about tonight.

"Oh.. I was just watching the children play around... it reminded me of my brother/sister and I of how we use to play like that..."

"Oh really? I'm sorry about making you jump earlier." He sits down next to you "I was out here because I love the stars, but I love the comet even more..."

You chuckle "Is that why you have a star shaped hat?" You pointed at it

"Oh this? Yeah! I really like wearing this!.... So..." He moves a bit closer too you without you knowing "What do you wish for? Anything great?"

"Oh I don't wish for anything tonight! I'm just here to watch the comet!" You turn to look at him as his face is filled with shock and wonder "What? Did I say something weird?..."

It took him a minute to recover from his shocked before talking again "N-nothing... It's just.... I've never heard someone say they didn't want a wish...."

"Well...." You shifted your feet "I do have one... but it's kind of shellfish...."

"Really? What is it?"

"Well.... My wish is to have a guy love me and protect me at any cost.... maybe even have him love me back the same way. He doesn't cheat on me or anything. He kind, sweet, loving, maybe even a goofball sometimes! I know a guy like that is rare.... no boy would fall for a girl like me.... I'm poor, unloved, mess up a lot, and an idiot a lot of the times... I would like it to come true.... Even if it was for a day! That would make me the happiest girl alive, but it's only a dream that will never come true..."

"Don't say that!" He grabs your hands, making you blush "I'm sure it will come true! You're a beautiful girl! It doesn't matter if you're poor and if you mess up a lot! You're a smart and wonderful beautiful girl! Any guy would be lucky to have you! I know I would be too if you were my girlfriend!"

Your whole face was red, but luckily it was too dark for anyone to see "I-I.. Umm.... thanks! That was really nice of you too say! Umm...." You were at a loss for words.

You tried to say something back to him until the comet glowed in the sky. You turned to face it, it's blue fire tail making the stars burn more brightly as it passes by. It was a breathtaking site. The whole sky lit up brighter than the sun! After it passed by you closed your eyes, think about what the strange man said.

"Hey.... I think that I might want that wish to come true now... I know you said that it wasn't stupid... but I think that I might want a go at it.... this comet only comes every hundred years or so...... so... my wish is it make it come true..... Well I hope yo-" You turn to face the man, but was gone. The warmth of this hand still lingered on the palm of your hand. It was like.... as if he was never there.... but here at the same time....

You shook your head away from the thought and continued to watch the comet in the whole sky...

*Time skip morning*

Your doorbell rang in your tiny apartment. You got up thinking it was the mail man delivering mail. It was Wednesday, that was the usual day for it to come. It rang a second time, making you mad.

"What the mail man's problem?! It's just mail! It's not like it's something special in there!" You went to the front door and opened it. To see a tiny box on the ground. You picked it up. It had a star sticker on top of the box. You opened it to find a star shaped necklace and a map dropped from the box. You picked it up while looking at the beautiful star shaped necklace. It was the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. A small blue like stone was in the middle of the necklace, shining in the sun rays made the stone shine brighter. It reminded you of the comet in that way....

After admiring the stone you looked at the map. It led to the hill were you were at last night, except, the arrow told you too to go down the hill and into the cave of crystals.

Curiosity got the better of you as you got the stuff you needed and head down there...

After a long walk you reach the entrance to the cave, entering it you saw crystals all over the place. The stone in your necklace started shining brightly just like all the other crystals. The farther you walked down the brighter it got. There was light at the end of the tunnel as you started sprinting towards it, too excited to even think as what was on the other end toke your breath away.

It was a mountain jungle. Pokemon of every type were there. It was a breathtaking sight just to see it.

"Beautiful, isn't it? But it's not as beautiful as you are."

You whipped your hand around to see the man from last night. He have a smile on his face.

"Where you the one who gave me this?" You touch your necklace, it was warm from the stones heat.

He chuckles "Yes I am. My names Jirachi. I've come to make your wish come true." He walks over to you and pulls you into a gentle hug, making your face heat up.

"W-what?! What do you mean Jirachi?!"

"You made a wish on the comet last night. So I'm here to make it come true! I'm the wish! Your star that will make you happy no matter what!"

You were speechless until the stone got your attention. "Is the stone is my necklace part of the comet?!"

Jirachi chuckles "yep~ and to make the wish come true... I have to do this." He leans down and kisses your soft lips. It was a warm and gentle kiss that lasted a good long while....

What felt like a never coming wish, came true that night... you were the most happiest girl that anyone had seen... because you had your true love right next too. Making the impossible wish come true....
