Y/N's P.O.V.

I nestled my head on my boyfriend, Greninja's shoulder. We were having a sleepover at his house.

I popped another piece of popcorn in my mouth as I listened to Greninja telling me about his ninja training.

"We have to learn how to climb trees and jump from branch to branch," he told me. "It's dangerous but fun."

I shuddered. "You know I hate you doing those things. I'm always afraid you'll get hurt."

Greninja wrapped his arms around me. "I'll never get hurt as long as I have you with me," he whispered.

I wanted to believe that fact. I wanted to believe that he'd be safe from any harm that may come to him.

A few weeks later, Greninja fell of a tree and hit his head on the ground below. He was sent straight to hospital.

When I found out I cried and couldn't stop. I knew this would happen. I should've stopped him.

I went to the hospital to see Greninja lying unconscious in the bed. I sat next to him and held his hand. I talked to him, hoping that he could somehow hear me.

"You'll be ok, Greninja. I'm sure of it."

On the fourth day of going there, I stayed there the whole day, not moving from his side, not even getting up to eat or drink anything. I didn't care about myself anymore. The only person I cared about now was Greninja.

When I was about to leave, I knelt down and kissed him gently. Then I left, trying not to cry again.

The next day I went he was awake. I like to think it was my kiss that woke him up, but we'll never know. When I saw him I ran to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged back.

"I knew you'd be ok!" I cried. "I believed that you would be ok. I never gave up hope."

Greninja laughed and smiled. "I'm sorry. I must've worried you."

"It's fine. I'm just happy you are ok."

We hugged again, vowing to never let go.
