Becoming Friends
Freddy
After working a few more days at the Pizzeria, Freddy always seemed to "visit" (as he'd like to put it) every night while you were on the night watch. His entrances were...interesting. He always found a new way to scare the living wits out of you one way or another. And afterwards, he had the guts to stay and occasionally talk. He'd always look over your shoulder though, and observed how you worked. It freaked you out slightly, but you never dared to say anything. The plus side on having him with you was that none of the other animatronics seemed to bother you while was around.
"Chica in the kitchen, Bonnie in the hall, Foxy at the bay..." You muttered to yourself quietly. You frowned, knowing you missed a "special" someone. You look up from the tablet, freezing, as if waiting to scare you. But it didn't happen. With a sigh, and slight smile, you relax a bit and look back to your tablet. Safe.
Or so you thought. All in one quick movement, your chair was pulled backwards and rolled up against the wall. You gasped in shock, and looked around the room. How did he even get in here?! You watch those cameras like a hawk. You just sit in there, silently. Everything was still, and Freddy wasn't in sight.
"I win again." A deep voice suddenly whispers to your ear, and you jump and scream. Freddy walks out from behind you, grimacing and placing his hands to his ears. "Must you scream like that every single time?" He asks, looking very unimpressed.
You roll your eyes, and sigh, "Well when you want to scare me like that, then yes." You say. He rolls your chair back to its place, and you hear him chuckling deeply. "My dear (Y/N), if I cannot kill you please allow me to entertain myself. Unless, you would rather me slaughter you?" Your eyes widen, and you vigorously shake your head. He smirks, sitting up against the table, "Very well then."
You go back to checking the tablet, and lights, even though you didn't need to. Really all you're trying to do is avoid social interaction. And you think he knows that too, although you're not too sure. You now feel his eyes on you, watching your every move, so you look up at him. He continues to stare at you blankly, and you frown.
"W-What?" You ask. Did you something on your face? In your teeth?
"What?" He asks back, and continues to stare at you.
"Why...why are you staring?!" You blurt out. There is a short moment of silence, and you regret speaking up like that. A slow smile appears on his face and says, "Because I want to. Why do you ask?" You blink at him, feeling yourself blushing. "Because...it's making me feel uncomfortable." You mumble quietly, before quickly looking back down to your tablet. Goddammit, why he is so difficult?
"I make you feel uncomfortable, (Y/N)?" He questions, smirking. Your blush grows darker, "No, no! You took it out of context!"
"Oh, okay." He nods a smirk still on his face. There is silence for several minutes. You flick between cameras or stare around at the room, and Freddy continues to stare you much to your dismay. Why is he doing that?!
You clear your throat, and look at him. To kill the time, you may as well try to talk to him a bit more. But you were never good with social interactions. Especially with a half-human animatronic bear killer.
"So..." You begin, trying to figure out what to say. "What's your favourite color?" You ask slowly. He stares at you, but in a different way this time. "I beg your pardon?" "Um, what's your favourite color?" You repeat quietly.
He smiles at your question but answers anyway, "I've never thought about it, nor that I need to." He answers, and you groan at this.
"Just answer the goddamn question, Freddy Fazbear!" You shake your head at him, and he laughs. You've rarely heard him laugh, possibly never.
"Fine. Red." He says simply and you sigh in relief. "Mine's (F/C)." You say. And that's how you began your first actual conversation. You spoke about different things; other personal favourites, life, the other animatronics. You discovered the Freddy is a gentleman (well, most of the time), and he is actually smart. He also has a brother, named Goldie. You told him about your family, friends. He even tried asking "your boyfriend" who doesn't exist, but he didn't believe you and continued to ask about it. Well at least you could call him your...friend now. You wanted to be more to him, but you couldn't. This was Freddy. You thought he'd laugh at the idea of being interested in you.
Bonnie
"(Y/N)!" Bonnie leans against the door frame and you scream, jumping up from you seat.
"How did you even..." You trail off, slowly backing away from him. He ignores you and says, "Welcome to your second night!" You gave him one of your deadliest glares, but he still doesn't seem fazed. You manage to keep your distance from him, and he notices this.
"(Y/N), I'm not going to hurt you." He says, and then sighs. He unfolds his arms and then walks inside the room.
"So, what do you want then?"
"You." He smirks, and then winks at you. You instantly blush, and look away incredulously.
It's 3 am and you thought that you were off the hook, and he wasn't going to bother you again but turns that you were wrong. Earlier, Chica was close to coming by, but so far none of the animatronics had actually come to your door...except now.
Your body is backed up against the wall. You still don't really trust him. You know that he could kill you, or put you in some sort of danger.
"No, why are you really here? Shouldn't you be killing me?" You try asking him again. But instead of answering the question, he pulls your body to his and you gasp loudly.
"Chica!" He shouts, standing defensively in front of you.
"Bonnie..." Chica says wearily. You now realise that she was at the doorway, and intended to kill you. How could you not notice? She was so close...
Chica transforms into a human herself. Her eyes are bright pink, and her honey blonde hair sits at her shoulders. Chica wears a poofy yellow diner dress, with a bib over the front that says "LET'S EAT!" with orange shoes and knee high socks.
Chica glances judgementally towards you, and then looks at Bonnie. "Her, really?" Chica folds her arms.
"Is that jealousy I hear?" Bonnie smirks.
Chica blushes and looks away. "She's human, Bonnie, you know the rules. Freddy is not going to be happy." She says.
"When is that old Fuckbear happy, anyway?" Bonnie asks loudly.
"I heard that." A deep voice says from down the hall, most likely belonging to Freddy, and everyone freezes.
"Just leave." Bonnie tells Chica quietly. "You saved me." He shrugs in response, trying to come off as casual but he seems to really care. You stare at him fir a quiet moment, a smile appearing over your lips.
"Sorry about being a bit of a jerk before." He says, and you arch a brow at him.
"Are you...are you apologizing?" You ask quietly, a smirk slowly appearing on your own face.
He blushes and rolls his eyes away, "Take it or leave it." He says quietly.
"Accepted." You say, although he wasn't that much of a jerk. He just annoyed you quite a bit. You slowly stretch your hand out to shake.
He looks down at your hand and frowns, "What's this?"
"Friends?"
He looks back down to your hand and smiles, fitting his hand into yours. "Friends." You never thought you could trust Bonnie, but as it turns out he is actually a nice guy who doesn't want to kill you. Despite his major flirting issues, and inappropriate antics he has turned out to be an okay guy. Now he likes to turn up every night, and you always leave the door open for him. He helps you out, and gives you tips. He also tells these ridiculous stories about him and the other animatronics that always seem to make you laugh. You actually like to have him around, and he started to grow on you. A little too much.
Have you started falling for him?
Chico (Male Chica)
It was easy becoming friends with Chico. He was so sweet, considerate, and caring. Before your nightshift and after the Pizzeria had closed, you would fix up any of the animatronic and talk to Chico. He'd tell the craziest stories, and always make you pizza or cupcakes when you're around.
Freddy disproved of your "relationship" with each other. He would always complain about you being a human, but after a few nights he seemed to get over it. Either that or he managed to ignore you. but the other animatronics were a lot nicer, and occasionally joined in with your conversations or played a card game or two when they are around. Sometimes they could get annoying though, and they still liked to creep up on you during night watch. You open up the doors to the Pizzeria with your own set of keys, "Hey, I'm here." You walk into the room, smiling. Locking the door back up and walking inside, you notice that it's strangely quiet.
Usually Chico, Bonnie, Foxy and even Freddy would acknowledge you in their own ways but it was deadly silent. You shivered, fear slowly creeping up on you. You walk over to the stage, noticing that Bonnie and Freddy wren't in sight. Chico was though, but he was in animatronic form. He was standing in his regular position , holding up his pink cupcake, and didn't seem to notice you.
As you continued to walk closer, a frown grew on your face. His jaw looked dislocated, part of the fabric on his arm seemed to be broken. "Uh, C-Chico?" you say quietly, and crawl up to the stage. The animatronic turns his head towards you, and you jump back in surprise. "(Y/N)?" he whispers and you sigh in relief. "What ever happened to you?" you ask, examining his broken parts. He never got like this.
His eyes widen and he looks off towards the stage, seeming somewhat alarmed. He rushes over to you, clamping a metal hand over your mouth and wrapping an arm around you, and the drags you off the stage and into a room.
you wonder what he is doing, and then it suddenly hit you. This was his plan after along. To stuff you into a suit. Your eyes grow wide, and you struggle against his insanely tight grip. And you would've bit his hand, but it's metal so that wouldn't have helped.
"Let go of me!" You attempt to yell, but it comes out muffled and muted. He locks the door, and finally releases you. You begin to breathe deeply and back away, bumping into a table. On that table were empty animatronic heads. You were about to scream once more but Chico, now in human form puts his hand over your mouth.
"(Y/N) I will not hurt you!" he whisper-yells desperately, searching your eyes. You stare back into his eyes, and notice that he is injured. His jaw isn't in the best condition, he has bruises replacing the torn up material, and his arm still seems to be broken. And at that moment you knew he wouldn't hurt you. This is Chico. he's just too...sweet to do anything like that to you. He removes his hand, sighing.
"Chico...what happened to you?" you whisper in shock. "Who did this?" You ask, although you already know the answer.
He looks to the floor and back up to you. "F-Freddy. Bonnie, and Foxy." he answers, barely being audible.
"But why?" you say, and take a step towards him. You lightly grab his bruised arm, your fingertips trailing down his tender skin. He shivers at your touch, looking at you with an expression you cannot place before finally answering. "Freddy...he didn't want us to befriend you. He-he said that you were distracting us all from our jobs." He begins to explain. "Bonnie and Foxy obeyed his orders, but for once I didn't. And he didn't like that. And when Freddy doesn't like something, the others follow. So I guess you could say I was...punished."
"Oh, Chico..." you shake your head sadly.
"You idiot, why did you do that?" you ask him, taking another look at his injuries. He takes a deep breath, staring at you for some time. He lightly grabs your shoulders,
"Because (Y/N)...they can do whatever they want, but no one will stop me from seeing you." He says lightly. "You're my friend." He says, and winces on the last part. You wanted him to be more than a friend, but you knew for a fact that he would never feel the same way.
You smile at him, wrapping him into a semi-tight hug. "Thank you for everything." he mumbles into your hair, and your smile grows wider.
Foxy
Ever since you first met, Foxy liked to be by your side to protect you from the other animatronics. When one of them ever got close, Foxy would usually be there to threaten them or use minor physical force. Unless it was Freddy, He couldn't really stop Freddy, so it was your job to keep an eye on the doors. But this night was different. Foxy hasn't turned up for the first three hours. He usually finds you straight away.
"Foxy where are you?" you whisper to yourself, struggling as you had to deal with Chica and Freddy. You check the cameras, trying to keep things under control and couldn't stop yourself from checking upon Pirate Cove. In the Pirate Cove, something was different. The starry purple curtains were drawn back, and the stage was empty, except for a sign that read "IT'S ME!" Where did he go? And what does, "IT'S ME!" mean?
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" the animatronic fox leaned out from the door, screeching loudly. You screamed, throwing the tablet in his direction and falling out of your chair. Your heart was beating fast, and your breaths were shallow.
Foxy let his screech ring out, before laughing hysterically at your reaction. When you looked back up at him, he had already changed into his human form but he was still laughing.
"Ye should've seen your face!" he says, continuing to laugh and uses the wall for support. You place both your hands to your heart, still lying on the floor as you tried to control your quickened breathing. When you did, you scowled and sat up.
"What the hell was that?!" You say.
"Just a bit of fun, lass." He says, pushing up his eye patch and then winks at you. Despite how frustrated you were, you still managed to blush at his antics. You simply sighed, retrieved the tablet, and sat back to your seat. You didn't look up at him, or say anything.
"Aw, don't do that to me, (Y/N)." Foxy whines and walks over to you. He starts playing around your (H/L) (H/C) hair, lightly tugging and curling it around his hook. He was trying to gain your attention, but you didn't give in and continued to flick through the cameras on the tablet. "C'mon, lassie." He sighs, and stops playing with your hair. You continue to ignore him for another minute or two before actually speaking up,
"You scared me Foxy."
"I know but -"
"No, you weren't here for three full hours. I was worried about you, I thought something had happened." You tell him, looking concerned.
His expression changes dramatically, "Ye worried...about me?" He questions, looking baffled.
"Of course I was! You're my...friend." You tell him, the last part slightly quieter than the rest of your words.
His eyes light up instantly, and he smiles."I-I'm a friend?"
You gave him a tired look, "Yes, Foxy." You say, and can't help but smile again. You wanted to think of him as more than a friend, but you knew that he would never feel the same way about you.
"Not jokin' are ye?" He asks once more, leaning closer, and narrowing his eyes dangerously.
"No Foxy, I am not joking!" You tell him, and shake your head lightly at him.
"Well, ye be the best human I ever met." He says, his face lighting up again. You laugh at this.
"A lot of humans can be nice, and maybe you'd know that if you didn't scare them away with your damn hook." You tell him, and he smirks.
"What? This old thing, eh?" He says and raises his sharp hook, close to your face. You gasp, staring at the hook and backing away. He chuckles at your fear, and slowly lowers his hook. "Calm down, lassie. It's too easy to scare ye." He says, bringing the round of his hook to lift your chin up to meet his eyes. You stared at his eyes for a while, studying them for a moment, and ignoring everything else. You never really noticed how incredible they looked. They were like two pools of iridescent gold, shining brightly under the dim lighting. Your parents warned you about the drugs and the freaks in the streets, but never the ones with the golden eyes and semi-heart beats. As you looked into his eyes, you could feel him searching deep into your soul. You both just stared at each other silently, and he looked as though he was going to say something until---
"What are you two doing?" Someone asks quizzically from the left door. It was Bonnie, in his human form, switching his gaze from both you and Foxy while he wore a mischievous smirk.
Foxy quickly straightens up, and pulls away from you. "The question really should be lass, what are ye doing?" He says, frowning. "Didn't I tell ye to leave her alone? Or else me hook will be meetin' ye bunny ears, land lubber." Foxy warns dangerously.
Bonnie scowls at the mention of his 'bunny ears' and sighs, "Whatever Captain Crunch, you're not my boss." He says, but walks off anyway.
"Something tells me you don't get along with the other." You say, smiling slightly.
"Aye." He nods. "We have our moments, but they know not to mess with me." He says, and smiles back at you.
You were glad to have him as a friend. He protects you, and cares about you. He's also one of the reasons why you keep coming back to this ridiculous excuse of a 'pizzeria'.
