🔱Karlie Anns POV🔱

"I don't think this is a good idea." I say as well pull into drive way of the pack house.

"We don't have to go in if you don't want to." Aidan says putting his hand on my back.

I lean forward a put my head on the steering wheel.

"I don't want to but I have to. I was supposed to come back yesterday and I didnt. They are going to be upset with me especially Blake, and Lucy will be pissed I missed her birthday."

"I can leave, if that would make it easier." Aidan says and I turn to look at him.

"No, I have to tell them sooner or later. They will just have to accept it or I'm leaving the pack." I say unclipping my seatbelt.

"Okay." Is all he says.

"Good thing you sprayed the masking spray or they would have smelled you from miles away." I say stepping out.

"Are saying I smell?" He asks with a smirk.

"Well to me you smell like lemons, but to them you might smell like death."

"Gee, thanks." He says rolling his eyes.

"Dont take it personal kid." I say running to his side.

He wraps his arm around me and we walk to the door.

Right before I open the door, I hear some one call my name.

Shit.

I turn to see Ale standing there.

Boy, does he look terrible.

Though it is kinda dark, the lights outside reveal him, and he looks sick.

His skin is so plae, but gives off a green look, he has bags under his swollen red eyes and he hasn't shaved in days.

I take a few steps towards him before I am engulfed in a hug.

"I've been so worried about you." He says giving me a tight squeeze.

"Where'd you go?" He asks letting me go.

"Away." I say fixing my shirt.

I look at him, and he stares at me with adoration.

But I just don't feel it anymore. I haven't though about him since I've been with Aidan.

Just then I hear Aidan clear his throat.

Double shit.

Then I feel Aidan stand beside me.

"Aidan this is-" I start to say but am cut off by Aidan.

"Blake right? Your brother?" He says reaching hand out for Ale to shake it.

Ale does but corrects him.

"My names Ale, and no I'm her boyfriend." He says loud and clear.

"Ex. Ex boyfriend." I say fast.

Both Ale and Aidan stare at me.

"Nice to meet you." Aidan says moving his from me to Ale.

"Yeah, you too. By the way what's your relationship to Karlie if you don't mind me asking." Ale says curious but I can tell a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Aidan goes to speak but now i cut him off.

"I mind, and it's none of your business who he is to me Ale." I say glaring at Ale.

"Actually it is my business when your running around with another guy." He says loudly.

"Dont raise your voice at her." Aidan says standing in front of me.

"I'll talk to her however I want, she's my girlfriend. Now back off. You don't want any problems with me." Ale says taking a step to Aidan.

"Actually she's not your girlfriend, she's mine."

Whoop there it is.

"Alrighty then, I thinks its time that we leave." I say sliding in between the two before Ale can speak.

I grab Aidans hand and start my way to my car when I hear my name being called by two people.

One is from Ale and the other from Lucy.

Fml.

"Come here!" Lucy shouts sounding pissed.

I cautiously walk towards her.

"Yes?" I say.

She then engulfs me in a hug.

"So youre not mad?" I say hugging her back.

"I'm just glad your here now, and your staying." She's says pulling away.

"About that." I say looking everywhere but her.

"You are staying right?" Lucy says pissed.

"Well, yeah but-" then I'm cut off when Bentley and Blake come out the door.

"Karlie Ann, why didn't you come home last night?" Blake shouts.

I got to speak, when I'm cut off by Ale.

"She was with her so called boyfriend." Ale chuckles while rolling his eyes.

Blake then looks behind me to see Aidan standing there frozen.

He has to be shutting his pants being around all these werewolves.

"New boyfriend? What about Sean?" Blake asks turning head.

"Whos Sean?" Ale and Aidan say in unison.

"Just a friend. I was just with Aidan, I'm fine, I'll stay, so can we just forget everything else right now?" I say folding my arms.

"No, Karlie Ann we cannot." Bentley says stepping forward.

"You have been MIA for this while week. No only was Lucy and everyone else worried you had me worried." He says folding his arms like a father would do whe lecturing his child.

I put my hands up.

"You guys, I don't feel like talking about this at the moment. I'm starving I know you have pizza and chicken wings in there just let it go for the night, and lets celebrate Lucy's birthday." I say.

"You can't let her get off this easy, first she runs away with this loser and now she wants you guys to forget about it?"
Ale says walking towards us.

"Shut up Alex. What I do is none of your concern anymore."

"Yes it is Karlie Ann! I'm your mate everything you do is my concern!" He shouts.

"Alex." Bentley warns.

"Wait this is Alex? Your ex that dumped you?" Aidan says walking in between me and Alex.

"Stay out of our business." Alex growls.

Then out of nowhere Aidan punch Ale right in his face.

You could definitely hear Ales nose cracking.

"He wasn't ready!" I turn to see Greyson standing at door with an amused face.

I turn back to see Aidan on top of Ale punching him.

Then Ale flips them over and and starts launching Aidan.

"Stop!" I yell trying to push Alex off of Aidan.

Aidan then flips them back over so he's on top and he starts sending blows to Ales head.

Finally Bentley steps in and prays Aidan off of Ale.

Ale tries to run at Aidan but I step in front of him.

"Alex if you so dare lay a hand in him, I swear I will kill you." I growl at him.

"You wont kill me, I'm your mate." He says and tries to step around me and I block him.

"No your not. You rejected me Alex. We are no longer mates." I say pushing him.

"Okay Karlie Ann." He says rolling his eyes and wiping blood from his mouth.

"Yeah okay." I mimick in his voice.

"You will always be mine Karlie Ann, it would be easier if you just forgave me." He says.

"I have." I say and look him in his eyes.

"So then why are you acting like this?" He asks stepping towards me.

"Alex, the bond broke." I say.

Everyone goes quiet.

"What did you say?" Ale asks angrily.

"The mate broke Alex, my heart moved on." I say louder.

"Impossible." He says shaking his head.

"You can't just move on."

"Well i did." I say folding my arms.

I look intros Ales eyes which are flashing from his eyes to his wolfs.

He then takes a step closer to me, but he doesn't get close because Aidan peels away from Bentleys hold and is standing in front of me.

"So, what is this my replacement? " Ale chuckles darkly. It's no longer Ale, it's his wolf Barrett speaking.

"Back off." Aidan says low.

"Awh, you little human. So stupid. You did have some good throws but you got lucky." Barrett says walking around us.

"Alex get away from them." I look to see Blake has moved closer to us.

Then suddenly Ale jumps at Aidan taking him to the floor.

Blake tried to jump in but is kicked my Ale sending him to the ground.

I go to grab Alex's arm, but as I am he whips it back ends up hitting me in the face.

Hard. I sorta get dizzy and fall onto my butt as everything spins.

I look and I make out that Aidan is looking at me.

All of sudden Ale is kicked in the air and Aidan is standing in front me in a fighting stance.

Ale growls.

"How is he still alive?" I hear Lucy say.

"I have no idea." Bentley says amazed as well.

Ale goes to jump one more time but he is tackled mid air by Blake.

I stand up, still dizzy and push Aidan.

"Get out of here. NOW!" I yell to him pushing him again.

"I can't leave you." He says.

"I'll be fine, but you won't be if you stay, now go." I say giving him a quick kiss on his lips and shoving him towards my car. He runs to the driver side, before giving me a last look before getting in.

I'm about to fall when Lucy comes to my side.

"Who is that?" She asks holding me up.

"My second chance mate." I say and everything goes black.

🔗Aidans POV🔗

I get in Karlie Ann's car and start the engine up.

I need to get out of here, but i dont want to leave Karlie Ann behind, but she's right if I stayed something even worse could have happened.

As I start the car and go around the loop to exit I see a familiar car.

With a familiar face sitting in the driver seat.

I slow down a little bit as I pass the car, rolling down the window to make sure it's not who think it is.

But, it is its exactly who I think it is.

And they have an amused smile on their face.

They give me a toothy grin before I sped out of there.

As I'm driving I receive a text.

I know, Don text and drive, but it could Karlie Ann.

Quite the Show there Aidan! Can't wait to tell Elias all about it!
