🚨Bentleys POV🚨

"What did you do?" Ashton asks. As I walk in.

"I didn't do a thing." I say slamming the keys in the table.

"Ohh, so thats why Lucy is just crying for no reason and your eyes just keep changing?" Ashton says nodding his head.

"A leech touched my mate." I say clenching my teeth.

"Where are they? Did you kill them?" Ashton ask impatiently.

"I don't know where that thing was. The scent was faint, but it touched Lucy. It's smell lingered on her clothes."

"How did it get on our territory?" Ashton asks.

"I don't know but it is. We need to double up on sercurity. How did Thomas let this through? He is supposed to be in charge of this area."
I growl.

Thomas is my cousin and One of my most trustworthy members. I made him in charge of this sector of the territory.

"I'll will call him, but if I were you I'd go talk to Lucy, she is crying." Ashton says taking out his phone.

I groan, as I get up and start heading to Lucy's room.

Just as I'm about to open it Karlie Ann walks out closing the door behind her.

"Why would you say that to that poor girl?" Karlie Ann asks with a smile.

"She smelled like a leech!" I say a little too loudly.

Karlie Ann chuckles, "Lower your voice, why didn't you just tell her?"

"Because I was to angry to talk. One of those things, that killed my father, laid their grimy fingers on my mate. Ace was on the verge of shifting, and I need to get her out of there." I say running my fingers through my hair.

Karlie Ann nods, "I guess that's explainable, you should talk to her. She balling in there."

I groan, letting my head fall.

Karlie Ann pats my shoulder.

"Good luck, oh and watch out for Kendra she's pissed at you as well." She says laughing and walking to the kitchen.

I'm about to knock on the door when someone cuts me off.

"Uh uh. Nope you can't go in there." I look to see Dana walking towards me.

"And why not?" I ask pissed off.

"Well for one my best friend is crying, she needs her best friend, two you're the reason she's crying and three..." she points to the door, which has opened with Lucy standing in between it.

He make up is ruined, her eyes are puffy and red and she has an angry look on her face.

"Lucy Im-" before I'm finished I'm slapped across the face, then Dana is pulled into the room with door slammed in my face.

I put my hand on my face, she didn't physically hurt me but she hurt Aces feelings.

I turn away from her door and see Greyson with his mouth wide opened.

"Dude." Is all he says before I walk out the house.

✴Lucy's POV✴

"Oh my god I can't believe you did that!" Kendra squeals.

"I wish I got that on camera!" Dana laughs grabbing Kendra.

"I did!" We all turn to see Karlie Ann with tears in her eyes.

She has your phone out to us, and sure enough there's me slapping Bentley.

I start pacing back and forth.

"I'm glad you guys think this is funny. I just slapped a werewolve, which happens to be my mate." I say with my hands in the air.

"Look at her face." Kendra cries out.

"I'm going to post it, I'm going to edit is so it goes to the beat of a song." Karlie Ann says falling back.

"No one saw that coming." Kendra laughs.

"Actually I did!" Dana yells making everyone laugh.

"You guys it's not funny! I just slapped Bentley! What the hell was I thinking?" I say running my hand through my hair.

"Relax Lucy, you had every right to slap him." Karlie Ann says sitting up.

"But what if he doesn't like me anymore?" I say.

"Calm down, its not like Bentley would reject you." Karlie Ann says again, receiving a slap on her arm from Dana.

"Reject?" I say confusing.

"You don't know what reject means?" Karlie Ann says.

"Karlie Ann shut up." Dana warns.

"What is it? Tell me!" I shout.

Dana looks at Karlie Ann then sighs.

"We were hoping not to tell you but your mate can reject you. Meaning he doesn't want you anymore, its the worst feeling in the world. It's like a piece of you gone. People who are rejected are never the same." Dana says looking down.

Now I'm panicking.

I start to hyperventilate.

"Oh no...I'm going to get r-rejected." I start to cry out.

Dana and Kendra run over to me hugging me.

"Sweetie, Bentley won't reject you." Dana says rubbing my back.

"If he does, I'll kill him." Kendra says nonchalantly. I look at her and let out a little laugh.

I then look up at Karli Ann who is wiping away at her eyes.

"Karlie Ann you don't have to cry for me." I say wiping my tears aswell.

She chuckles. "I want crying for you, but if that makes you feel better." She says as more tears run down her face.

"Then what are you crying?" I ask.

"Well me being the air headed savage I am, I brought up rejecting." She sniffles grabbing tissues.

"I was rejected before."

Dana and Kendra rush over and sit on the bed along side us.

"I am so sorry Karlie Ann." Kendra says grabbing her hand.

Karlie Ann nods and gives a tiny smile.

"It was the summer I turned sixteen. When wolf's turn sixteen, they can find their mate an I did. I was at some party, when a smell hit me. I'm not getting into that whole thing because I know everyone's heard the same thing over and over. Anyways I smelled him, so I followed his scent to see a tall, guys with brown curly hair and these gorgeous blue eyes.
His name was Alex, but we all knew him a Ale. He was an Alpha, Alpha of the Corleon pack. He was 19 at the time. When I saw him, he was with some dumb blonde, no offense Kendra."

Kendra shrugs. "Keep going."

Karlie takes a deep breath then starts.

"When he saw me he pushed that bimbo to the ground and ran over to me. He began to hug me,shower me with kisses, everything. We were together for 6 months, we didn't mate because I wasn't ready. I mean who mates at sixteen. We would get into arguments about it, and he was also pissed that I wouldn't leave my pack. So from there we would constanly argue, but I just though hey that's what couples do. But then out of nowhere Ale stopped picking me up, he stopped visiting, never replied to my calls or texts. I thought donthibg happened so I drove to his territory. "

She then stopped. I watched as she tried to calm herself down, she breathed in a slay breath then continued.

"The guards let me into his house, I went looking around for him. I finally opened the door to his office to see him with a girl. I said his name, and froze. He turned around looked at me then smirked."

"That asshole." Kendra yelled.

"Oh wait it gets better. The girl tried to leave saying 'Oh I think I should be going.' And Ale grabbed her and pulled her to his side, saying 'No stay, Karlie Ann is leaving.'"

We all gasp.

"I start crying and yelling at him, I start throwing thing at both of them until he finally grabs me by my shoulders. And I'll never forget his words. 'I, Alpha Alex Corleon reject you pathetic Karlie Ann Craft as my mate.'"

Soon all of us are crying, wiping our tears away.

"He even had the guard escort me out. I was in no state to drive, so I shifted and ran 6 hours nonstop back home. I cried for 5 months, I never left my room unless it was to train. And that's how I'm here as the number one fighter of the pack. I took all my anger out w hen I was fighting."

Karlie Ann lets out a sigh, and dabs at her eyes with the tissues.

"Wow, that felt good to let that out." She says laughing.

We all look at her, but she shakes her head.

"Dont feel sorry for me. There's love out there for me, the time will come. But I do know if I ever see Ale again I don't know what I'll do." She says getting up and walking to the mirror.

We all get up and walk to the mirror too, we all look like shit. All of our make up is ruined, eyes puffy and red.

"I haven't cried in ages." Dana laughs.

We all being to fix ourselves up When the door opens revealing Skipper. She skips in and flops on the bed.

"How was it?" I ask turning around.

"He said he loved me." She says then giggles.

"WHAT?" We all scream.

"And I said it back." She says propping herself on her elbows.

"Woah who died in here?" Skipper asks looking at us with a wide eyes.

"I would say never get a boyfriend but I guess its too late now." Karlie Ann says making ever one laugh.

"Boys suck." I say stretching.

"Not mine." Skipper winks and we all throw pillows at her.
