🚨Bentleys POV🚨

Ashton I want you to look up Lucy and tell me what you know about her. I mindlinked to my third in command.

Greyson is supposed to be with me, but he is cleaning up the mess from last night. He said he would come late to the meeting.

In five minutes I have a meeting with a neighboring pack to talk about something important.

I haven't done much Alpha duties since the passing of my dad, but my pack looked lost so I need to get out of my daze and pull my shit together. The Kings Pack is known to be the the strongest pack in America and i need to keep that title up and follow my father's footsteps.

I walked in the house one which is the meeting and guest house and walked up the stairs.

Winston of the Sawz pack was already in the room, I could pick up his scent as soon as he entered my territory.

I opened the door, to be greeted by Winston and his Beta Dieter.

"Thank you for meeting with us Alpha Bentley, we really appreciate it." Said Winston shaking my hand.

"Please call me Ben,sit. My beta, will be joining us shortly." I said motioning for the chairs.

"So,what is it that y ou guys wanted to address?" I asked pouring the three of us some water.

"Well, I recieved a call from Alpha Tyler from the Verta pack and he said that their have been scent of rogues passing through the territories." He said as Dieter growled.

"We just encountered 7 rogues yesterday, we killed o3 but the others got away."

"We believe there are more, the scent was heavy and lasted a while." Said Dieter with an angry expression.

I nodded. We have had problems with rogues in past, but nothing we couldnt handle. But of the look of it, Winston looks worried about it.

"It seems as though they are traveling in a pack." I said.

"Yes, which is ,unusual because rogues barely travel in two." Finished Winston.

"Correct, thank you for letting me know, my pack can handle some rogues." I said sipping my water.

"But that's not all." Said Dieter with an annoyed look. Just then in walked a tired Greyson.

"These aren't just some random rogues. These ones were stronger. And their eyes weren't the red they usually are." He continued.

"Go on.." I encouraged.

"Their eyes have hints of blue. They are much faster, and have quicker reflexes and they seem to have sense of what's coming."

"So what are you implying?" I asked leaning back in my chair.

"Please don't take this as disrespect," began Winston with his hands up, "but I think you should train your pack more."

"Just because your pack couldn't stop some lousy rogues that were more skilled than you doesn't me-" I put my hand up to stop Greyson.

"Excuse my Beta." I said through gritted teeth.
"But I think well be okay."

Winston nodded, while Dieter eyed Greyson.

"If that's all, I have some things to do." I said standing up.

Winston stood up and shook my hand. He went for Greysons hand but Greyson just crossed his hand looked at him.

Dieter shook my hand, and gave Greyson an annoyed stare before following behind his Alpha.

Once their scent was gone, I turned and looked at Gresyon.

"What?" He said rolling his eyes.

"Greyson, you can't get defensive over dumb shit. He even said no disrespect before he began."

Greyson didn't say anything, but just looked at me. I him a serious glare, before he nodded in submission.

I walked out house one with Greyson following back into the pack house.

It was all cleaned up and didn't smell like death anymore.

We walked into the kitch to see my mom cooking something.

"What are you making? " I asked taking out two Gatorade for me and Greyson.

"I'm making Blts." She said placing two plates in front of us.

"Yum." Said Greyson drinking his gatorade.

"What was the meeting about?" Mom asked flipping over some bacon.

"Winston just wanted to warn me about some rogues, nothing we can't handle." I said shrugging.

She nodded.

"That girl was very pretty." She said assembling the sandwhiches.

"Which one?" I asked already knowing she meant Lucy.

"Your mate. She's very pretty and seems mature." She said placing a sandwhich on Greysons plate.

"Yeah, she maybe to mature for him." Greyson said biting into his blt.

I rolled my eyes and drank gatorade."So when are you going to mark her?"

I choked when she asked that.

"Mom,one I just found out she was my mate last night. Two, she has no clue about werewolves, and three she's scared of dogs." I said turning red.

"I don't want to rush anything."

"Awh, how cute. Bentley found his mate, and he's scared she's going to be scared of him." Teased Greyson with his mouthful.

My mom slapped him in the back of the head while placing my food in front of me.

"Wait until you find your mate, then you'll be whipped." My Mom said then making the hand motion like she's whipping Greyson, making the whipping noise.

Both Greyson and I busted out into laughter as Ashton and Karlie Ann walked in.

"What did I just walk into?" Asked Karlie Ann walking to the fridge.

No one replied because we were still laughing. Once we calmed down, Ashton placed an envelope in front of me.

"I found as much as I could, but there wasn't much on her." He said grabbing a bag of chips.

I read the paper outloud.

"Luciana Marcelle Crest,17 from New York, mother Nicole Erica Crest,38. Father Joseph Marino Crest deceased, caus of death animal attack. Luciana was moved up a grade based on her skill level and intellegence, an nd her best friend name is Dana Tysin."

"Thats it?" Asked Karlie Ann.

"Thats it, plus some screenshots from her instagram." I said looking at them. One of them was recently posted, with the caption 'Senior Pictures done!'

She looked flawless in the picture. He skin contrasted with everything, almost giving her a glow. Her long dark hair blended in with her dark top.

She was truly beautiful and she was mine.

"Close your mouth before you drool." Said Greyson slapping my back and leaving the room.

I looked back at the screenshot to see 9 comments.

"I'm going tear that jock to shreds." I growled.

"Now, Bentley you can't go getting upset because Lucy is talking to other guys, you haven't marked her." My mother said tapping my hand and walking out the room.

I let out another growl, and stuffed the paper back into the envelope.

Just then Ashtons phone buzzed.

I watched as he looked at his phone and a smile grew on his face.

"Who's that?" I asked, which came out more like a growl. I took a few breaths before I asked again calmer.

"Kendra." He said tapping at his phone, then he looked up at me with a smirk.

"Kendra has to drop off Lucy's car tonight, and Kendra wants me to bring her home after, want to tag along?"

"Yeah, what time?" I asked, I kinda sounded like an excited little boy getting ready to go to the park.

"7."

"Yeah, I'll go, but I'm taking my car." I said trying to fight back a goofy grin.

We're going to see mate! We're going to see mate!

Said my wolf jumping with joy.

I looked down at the clock to see it was 1.

I let my head fall back. 6 more hours I don't think I'll last.

"What am I going to wear?" I said think of possible things to put on.

Woah. That was totally chick-ish.

I looked up to Ashton and Karlie Ann who had amused faces.

"Uhh, I have to go....and work out." I said getting up and tailing it to my room.

"You should wear a skirt since you sound like a girl." Karlie Ann called.

"Screw you!" I said before slamming my door.

I then walked over to my walk in closet and stared at all the clothes.

Need to find something mate will like. Howled my wolf.

And there the search for the perfect outfit began.

Wow, I honestly sound like a chick, I need to do something manly like drink egg yolk or get some more ink.

I've only known Lucy for a day, and she's already changed me.
