1.8 - Betrayed

"ARE YOU INSANE?!" Caroline screamed. Alivia was very taken back by the outburst.

"Katherine, your girlfriend, will KILL me if I agree to this! Why don't you get her to do it?!" Caroline exclaimed.

"Because I know she won't go through with it. We made a deal that whenever I'm really ready she'll turn me, but I know she wants me to forget it." Alivia said, grabbing Caroline's arms.

"Forget it, Alivia. I'm not doing that. I don't have a death wish." Caroline pulled her arms away from Alivia.

It's like she was a crazy as Caroline was for her love. But now Caroline wanted nothing more than to smack some sense into Alivia. She wouldn't do that. That was stooping to as low as Katherine.

Alivia didn't know what to do. Everything leading up to now showed she had changed massively. She was desperate to become a vampire. She knew her girlfriend wouldn't do it, Caroline wouldn't do it.

She needed to find someone who did.

Katherine came into the Grill a few hours later to see Alivia, only to see she wasn't there. The only thought was that she was on her break.

Matt passed by Katherine, catching her attention. "Hey Blue Eyes, where's Alivia?"

Matt raised an eyebrow. "It's her day off. I thought she'd be with you."

Katherine made an angry expression. She didn't like this feeling. Why did Alivia lie to her? Katherine dialed Alivia's number.

Alivia picked up, but had to put it on speaker in her car. "Alivia, where the hell are you?" Katherine hissed.

"Driving." Alivia said.

"Where? I'm getting you." Katherine insisted, storming out of the Grill.

"No you're not. I need to be alone. I need to do this." Alivia demanded.

"Do what!?" Katherine asked. But the question was already answered when the phone line went dead.

Katherine raced to Caroline's house, kicking the door down. "Caroline!" She called.

"What the hell Katherine?!" Caroline yelled when she saw her door in the hall.

"Alivia is headed somewhere to turn into a vampire." Katherine explained.

"How?" Caroline asked.

"Did you give her any of your blood?" Katherine asked. Caroline's mind went to the earlier events when Alivia purposely cut her arm so Caroline would heal her.

"Goddammit!" Katherine yelled and went to her car. "Get in, I need you to tell me where she's going."

Caroline followed, the only thing running in her mind that this girl was absolutely psychotic for forcing herself to get hurt just so she could get vampire blood.

Katherine typed a few things before handing her phone to Caroline so she he could watch the red dot that was assumed to be Alivia.

Driving, the girls were silent, unless giving Katherine directions. They both loved this girl that was completely losing her mind to the want of being a vampire.

Alivia stood at the end of the dock, a large rock standing by her side. If no one would help her turn, then she'd do it herself. She knew she risked the chance of being with Katheirne and her friendship with Caroline, but she wanted this.

She needed this.

Living in her town, you were better off supernatural than human. Matt was stronger than her, but she couldn't wait any longer for his decision.

Being a vampire for the rest of her life, however long it would be, was something somebody could only dream of. Being with the one she loved forever was something she always wanted. Her chances only increased when the supernatural came into play.

It was sudden when bright lights shone on her. They were car lights. She quickly picked up the rock, backing up as she saw the two girls get out of the car and race to Alivia.

"Alivia stop!! Step away from the water right now!" Katherine demanded.

"Then turn me!" Alivia said, dropping the rock into the water.

"Alivia this has gone way too far! You've gotten too obsessed in becoming one of us. Just stop this." Caroline said, inching forward to her.

Alivia sniffled, backing away slightly before jumping into the cold water. Katherine was quick to jump into the water.

She swam, but the dark water wasn't doing much for her. She spotted the glimpse of the ring and swam for it, grabbing Alivia's arm and dragging her upwards.

She coughed when rising, pushing Alivia towards the dock where Caroline was waiting. Caroling grabbed ahold of Alivia and pulled her into land. She wrapped herself around the freezing girl, trying to warm her up somehow.

"Let's take her inside." Katherine breathed, showing Caroline the key.

Picking Alivia up in her arms, Caroline followed Katherine inside the cottage where they first found them together. Caroline waited for Katherine to grab towels and blankets before setting her down on the couch.

They wrapped her up, though she was unconscious she was alive still. That's all the mattered.

"We need to do something. Convince her? Though thay didn't really work." Katherine mumbled. Caroline was silent.

"Send her away." Caroline suggested, her gaze lingering on the wet girl.

"Seriously?!" Katherine exclaimed.

"Yes seriously. She has a problem. I think it would be better if she had some time away from us. From Mystic Falls and everything." Caroline made a good point.

Katherine couldn't argue. It seemed like something that needed to be done. Alivia was consumed by immortality. With everything that had happened, it wasn't hard to guess why.

She just hoped Alivia would understand.
