1.6 - Advice and Confessions
Alivia didn't want to tell her brother about her desire to become a vampire and how she only had a month of being a human before becoming an immortal being.
Being with Katherine forever sounded perfect. Being with her friends forever sounded perfect. Leaving Matt, never making him an uncle and watching him grow old without her, that was something that made her want to stay human.
Her brother was someone she'd drop everything for and do whatever was needed for him and visa-versa. The thought of watching him grow old with a woman he loves and having kids and grandkids sounded sad but wonderful.
But she would be leaving her brother behind. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to give Katherine false hope. She knew Katherine liked the idea of being together forever, but she needed someone else's opinion.
Which brought Alivia to stand at Caroline's door, ready to confess and listen. She needed to tell someone. She wanted to forgive Caroline as much as she could for what she did. If Alivia was going to live forever, she didn't want to hold that grunge for eternity.
It was late, but Caroline opened the door and smiled instantly at the sight of Alivia. "I need advice." Alivia spoke before Caroline could.
Caroline opened the door wider and let Alivia in. She shut the door and followed Alivia into the living room. Caroline didn't like the way Alivia's body language looked.
"What's wrong?" Caroline asked.
"I'm becoming a vampire." Alivia blurted, stopping in her spot and looking right at Caroline. "On my birthday. Katherine is going to do it."
Caroline shook her head frantically. "No, no Alivia that is a bad idea." Alivia disagreed.
"I want to. I want to be with you all. With Katherine."
"What about Matt?" Alivia sat on the couch. Caroline sat beside her.
"That it. I don't want to leave him. He's going to hate me for doing this." Alivia began to cry. She held her face in her hands.
Caroline hugged Alivia in some way. She wanted to help her with this. Alivia was unsure. Caroline loved the idea of Alivia living for eternity, but the immortal life wasn't one you wanted to live.
"You have a choice. You get to chose to grow up, have kids, be with someone you love, grow old with them. I didn't get that choice. I'm forever stuck as a seventeen year old." Caroline didn't want to mention how Katherine was the one to turn her because she thought she was killing her.
Alivia sniffled. "Exactly. But I'm afraid I'll be making the wrong choice. I want to make the right choice for me. But I don't want to disappoint Matt."
Caroline thought for a moment. "Tell him. Let him know this is what you want to do and maybe he'll understand." Caroline suggested.
"Are you sure?" Alivia asked, looking at her. Caroline nodded.
"And if you decide to turn, I'll be here every step of the way. If you can't go to Katherine, come to me. I'll help you through it. I won't let you lose control." Caroline promised.
Caroline always imagined a moment like this in her head. This is how she wanted it to be. If she'd just not made a dumb mistake over love then maybe, just maybe, she would have the chance to kiss her.
Alivia looked away, seeing how close they were to each other. It was sweet for the offer. If needed, she would definitely take it. But right now, she had to tell her big brother that she may be going on without him.

Matt was quiet. He hadn't spoken in fifteen minutes. He just stared at his little sister. The word 'vampire' running through his mind. Never had he imagined his little sister asking him, more like telling him, that she wanted to be a vampire.
He put his head down. He didn't know what to think, what to say. To be immortal to be with her friends and girlfriend was reason enough. But he knew he was holding her back from doing it.
He was glad she didn't up and do it without waiting to see. He was glad to see his little sister wasn't a vampire yet. The thing that destroyed the town and hurt many people he loved.
"I'm sorry." Alivia spoke, taking and few steps forward. "I will stay human, for you. Your opinion matters most to me. I will not become and vampire if you tell me not to."
Matt had the advantage to keep his sister human. They could grow old together and have a happy human life. But he didn't want his sister to be unhappy.
He sighed, looking at his sister. He opened his arms and she ran into them to hug. He rubbed her back, still contemplating on what to say.
"I need time to think." Were his words.
Alivia was fine with that.
She left him after that. She went to her room. She texted Caroline, thanking her again and telling her that Matt took it as she would put, better than she thought.
A whoosh came and Katherine was standing in her room. "Hey there." Katherine leant down and kissed Alivia before laying next to her on her bed.
"I told Matt. I'm waiting to see what he says." Alivia told her. Katherine nodded.
"I love you." To hear that come from Katherine's mouth made Alivia's head whip that look at her with wide eyes.
"I love that you're thinking of giving up your human life to be with me and your friends. You make me a better person, I feel weird being all gushy and nice." Alivia laughed. It was something to get used to.
"I-I love you too." Alivia returned the saying. Katherine smiled ear to ear and moved herself to kiss Alivia.
Their lips danced, quick pecks again and again. The confession of both set off a feeling that needed to be acted upon. Katherine raised herself up, staring at Alivia.
"You're brother is downstairs." Katheirne noted. Alivia shrugged.
"Then let's go somewhere he isn't."

Alivia giggled, the rush of wind everytime Katherine sped them to another wall to get rid of another piece of clothing. They chose her empty apartment she'd compelled herself when staying here.
Left in undergarments, Katherine carried Alivia to the bed and laid her gently down. Katherine wanted to do this right. She wanted to be careful. She was human another nd could sometimes lose control on what she did.
Kissing up her stomach, Katherine kissed Alivia's neck, her fangs come out slightly. Katherine managed to keep them away as she kissed Alivia's lips.
"I've never--" Alivia began with short breath.
"I know." Katherine breathed. "Trust me." Alivia nodded with a swallow.
Kissing down, Alivia began to breath deeply. She was a little scared, but trusted Katherine indefinitely. Her hands against her skin felt extatic.
Katherine smirked. The reaction she was getting was worth it. All emotions were heightened as a vampire. To be honest, she could wait to see how Alivia eould react then.
Katherine's hand slid down. Alivia barely noticed until the front of her underwear was lifted from her skin. She gasped.
Katherine held her face to look at her. She smiled. "Just look at me and relax." Katherine said, leaning in to kiss Alivia.
And with that, Alivia felt a sensation she thought she could never feel.
