1.0 - Fist Fights and Lovey Nights

For the next few weeks things had been going great, for Caroline. She and Alivia grew closer by the day, all thanks to the magnificent spell by the witch.

Alivia had almost completely forgotten her feelings for Katherine, which were in fact there, but clearly hidden in the depths of her mind.

Katherine would try and have a conversation with Alivia, only for her to be taken away by Caroline who desperately tried to stop Katherine from changing anything.

Matt worried about his sister, seeing two very competitive and emotionally, easily angered vampires fighting over her. He just wanted what was best for her, and he could see that Caroline wasn't that.

He knew the date she went on with her was a bad idea. Although she looked happy, something about her was off and hidden.

"Ready for our date?" Caroline asked as the front door was opened by Alivia herself.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Alivia said with a tight smile.

Caroline took Alivia's hand and lead her to her car, driving to a nice, small restaurant in Mystic Falls. Perfect for a date in Caroline's opinion.

Alivia sat across from Caroline, eyeing the menu while Caroline eyed her. All Caroline wanted to do was kiss her again. They hadn't in weeks and it sort of worried Caroline. Like the spell was wearing off.

"What do you feel like eating? I'm up for sharing a meal." Alivia said as she continued to search through the foods.

"You pick. Just no spaghetti, that's not a good thing to order on a date." Caroline said, making Alivia laugh.

"I won't disagree with that. How about a steak. It's got some... you know, so you can eat it." Alivia said cautiously. There were still humans that had no idea about the supernatural beings that lived in their town.

"Perfect." Caroline smiled as she raised her hand to wave the waiter over.

"Are you sERIOUS!?!?!" Katherine screamed into the phone.

"Positive, I tortured the poor girl to get it out of her. You know I don't like hurting other witches for anyone." The witch said on the other side.

"Whatever. Just get her to undo it." Katherine demanded.

"It doesn't work like that. Think of fairytales. What usually breaks the curse?" She asked.

Katherine groaned. "True love's kiss. But Alivia isn't in love with me. We don't have true love!" It hurt Katherine in a way to actually say that.

"How do you know? You and her had gotten along pretty well."

"That doesn't matter. Love doesn't just happen in a matter of days. It would be a miracle." Katherine sighed.

"Wouldn't hurt to try." She hung up the phone and left Katherine with a decision.

All she knew is that killing Caroline might no be a bad idea.

Caroline and Alivia headed back to Alivia's and rested in the living room. Alivia continued to take glances at Caroline, feeling this warmth in her heat that she'd never felt before when around her. She liked it.

Caroline looked at Alivia and blushed when she saw the human staring back at her with the same red cheeks.

Alivia clasped her hand in the vampires beside her and gave her a smile. She felt magical, like she could never feel this way about anyone ever again.

"I doubted you. I thought you'd be trouble in my life." Alivia admitted making the girl smile.

"A vampire and a human makes a very bad combination, you know that better than anyone." She said, speaking the truth. She fiddled with Alivia's fingers that were still tangled together.

"We mix well together, more than any human and vampire to ever have been a couple, because I know you won't hurt me or change me until I'm ready. I know you'll protect me until your last breath and love me till the end of time. You've just got to prove it. Thank the gods we've got forever." Alivia's heartfelt speech made the vampire glow with delight.

She carefully pulled Alivia forward and placed a sweet kiss onto her lips, surprising the human.

"You're my human until you become my vampire." She whispered into Alivia's ear.

She giggled before their moment was ruined by the doors whooshing open and an angry, bloodthirsty vampire came into the room, infuriated by their feelings for each other.

"You manipulative compelling bitch!" She shouted. Alivia was pushed out of the way before the first punch was thrown.

Katherine had Caroline pinned to the floor, fangs bare and hissing in her face. Her fist collided with Caroline's face before she was flung into a wall.

Caroline got up and only took a step towards Alivia before being thrown into the wall and knocked out.

"Oh my god!" Alivia screamed, seeing Caroline's limp body and Katherine's bloodthirsty eyes.

The look on Alivia's face was enough to change Katherine's face back to normal and send and look of worry over to Alivia, who's head was bleeding out of a small cut.

"God, Alivia are you okay?!" Katherine slid onto her knees and went to Alivia to help her, but Alivia back up from her.

"You- you're different." Alivia whispered.

"No Alivia, you don't understand--"

"No I do understand! Doing this isn't a way to settle jealously!" Alivia shouted, standing up and using the wall for support.

"Caroline made a witch cast a spell on you to make you fall in love with her!" Katherine blurted.

"She wouldn't do that. You've given me no reason to believe you." Alivia stood her ground.

"I've been nothing but truthful with you." Katherine pleaded. Alivia's heart ticked.

"Did those days mean nothing to you!? I just need to know that, cause they sure as hell meant a lot from me." Katherine asked, talking Alivia's hands.

Alivia contemplated whether or not to answer. The look on Katherine's face made her think otherwise.

"They meant so much to me." Alivia whispered, resting her forehead against Katherine's.

The voice was starting up again, but Alivia didn't care. She had kept thay voice quiet for too long.

Katherine leant in and kissed Alivia, making her head move back from the force of the kiss. It was like something flew from both their bodies making them gasp and break away.

"Woah."
