0.6 - Roadtrips and Close Calls
Midnight came around as Alivia laid in bed, watching her alarm clock until it switched to twelve before pushing her blankets off and dropping to the floor.
She grabbed her duffle bag and a sweater before opening her window and looking out. Across the street she sat Katherine leaning against her car, waving at the human.
"How do I get down?" Alivia shouted in a whisper. Katherine rolled her eyes before speeding over near the window and held out her arms.
"Fall, I'll catch you." Alivia looked at like she was insane.
"I'll hurt you." Alivia warned before throwing her duffle bag to the doppëlganger.
"I'm five centuries old with inhuman strength. I think I'll be fine." She said. Alivia sat herself on the ledge and took a deep breath before pushing off.
She tried to surpress the small scream that flew into the air as she landed right into Katherine's arms, not making her trip or even stumble.
"Told you I'd catch you." Katherine whispered as she looked down at Alivia.
Seeing her in her arms, Katherine felt powerful. Alivia chose to trust her and jump. Most wouldn't. That made her feel special.
Alivia looked up into Katherine's brown eyes, seeing a small glimpse of vulnerability pass through them. Then she blinked, realized what was happening and told Katheirne she could put her down.
She did so, but didn't enjoy the disappearance for Alivia's warmth she felt.
Alivia made her way to the car and got into the passenger side. Katheirne followed shortly after, starting up the engine and driving away from the Donavan residence.
"So, where is this roadtrip taking up to?" Alivia asked. Katheirne only smirked.
"You'll have to wait and see."

"Do you really think it worked?" Elena asked Bonnie as they sat on Elena's bed. Bonnie shrugged her shoulders.
"I have no idea. I guess we'll just have to see how Alivia acts around Caroline." At that moment Caroline came bursting through, gaining instant glares from her best friends.
"I'm sorry okay! I know it was stupid and selfish and my mind is messed up but..." Caroline trailed off as she began to cry.
Elena stretched her arm out to give Caroline a hug. She did and was pulled into the bed with her best friends.
"Look, in a weird way I understand. But this was over the top." Elena said as she rubbed Caroline's shoulder.
"I just wanted her to like me as much ass I like her." Caroline sniffed. Elena's phone began to ring, showing Matt's number on the screen she answered.
"Is Alivia with you?" Matt said as soon as the phone went to her ear.
"No, shouldn't she still be sleeping? It's like nine in the morning." Elena said as she checked the time.
"She left in the middle of the night and I have no idea where she went. Can you get Bonnie to do a locator spell?" Matt was in panic that his little sister had gone missing. I mean anyone would.
"Yeah of course. Meet us at my house." Elena said before hanging up and getting off her bed.
"Alivia's missing." Elena said making Caroline's head shoot up.
"What?!" She exclamed. Somehow she felt as if it was her fault. Maybe the spell had affected her and made her run away so she didn't have to see Caroline's face.
"I'll do a locator spell. Caroline, grab me a map." Bonnie ordered. Caroline sprinted into action and grabbed the closest map and set it on the living room coffee table.
Matt came into the house a few minutes later. He instantly pricked his finger and let the blood fall onto the page.
Bonnie began chanting and the blood began to move instantly. Though it never stopped moving, as if she was running or in a veichle.
"Where the hell is she going?" Matt asked.
"I don't know, but once she stops we'll be able to pin point where she is. For now we've got to wait."
They were in for a long wait.

Alivia was sound asleep by the time they arrived at their destination. Katherine had giving her car to some man and told him to drive. She left a piece of clothing with the car so just maybe it would attract any magic trying to find them.
All Katherine wanted was a few days with Alivia all to herself without a certain blonde getting into the way of that.
Katherine looked over at the girl beside her and almost sighed dreamily. She couldn't help but want to kiss her, but knew it'd be a bad idea.
Alivia started to awaken when Katheirne had come back after dumping everything into the little cabin she'd hidden from everyone.
It was small but cozy, with a lake and and dock just and few feet from it it was the perfect little getaway.
"Hey sleepy head, we're here." Katheirne teased. Alivia sent her and smile before getting out of the car and stretching.
The light brunette took and deep breath of the clean, fresh air and sighed. It was beautiful out here. She didn't expected this from Katheirne. She had underestimated her.
"It's gorgeous here." Alivia complimented. Katheirne smiled proudly.
"I've had it for a while now. I'd use it on special occasions for when I needed to get away." Katheirne confessed.
"Thank you for doing this. This was really sweet of you." Alivia said as she stood infront of Katherine.
The way the sun reflected on Alivia's hair made Katherine want it run her hands through it. Katheirne inched closer and Alivia made no objections to move away.
"I don't know if you feel the same, but you are something special to me." Katherine whispered as she placed her palm on Alivia's cheek.
Alivia smiled and blushed, feeling herself lean into Katherine's touch. "We haven't known each other long, and I know I can be a bitch, but you somehow make me a better person."
Katherine's confession, which was all completely true, made Alivia's heart swell. She took Katherine's hand in her own and intertwined them.
"You shouldn't think badly of yourself. You are a good person, you just need some help bringing that person out." Alivia looked into her brown eyes, questioning if this was a bad decision or not.
"I think you'd be able to help me with that." Katherine leaned forward and without hesitation pressed her lips to Alivia's.
It was slow, soft and sweet. Her lips were like petals to Alivia. Katherine pulled back slightly to only turn her head and kiss her again.
Alivia let her hand rest on Katherine's arm that was touching her own. Alivia managed to slip her tongue into Katherine's mouth for a moment before pulling back and stopping a make out session.
Looking into each other's eyes, they smiled at each other. Maybe this was a good thing. Maybe the spell didn't work.
Boy, we're things about touching change.
