Yang POV

      I am training a little before my next match, but to be honest, I am really worried about Grimlock's whereabouts too. He hasn't been seen nor heard from since yesterday afternoon, and even with Qrow and even General Ironwood has commited some troops and androids to finding him but we still have found nothing. It's like he's disappeared off the face of the planet.

Slag: Mom?

Yang: *snaps back to reality* Uh, yes Slag?

Slag: You okay?

Yang: Just worried about your brother is all.

Slag: To be honest.... me too.

Yang: I'm sure we'll find him, we just need to keep looking.

Slag: Yeah.

Blake: Hey guys, the next round's about to start.

Yang: Thanks, Blake.

We all walk to the stadium and everyone wishes me luck, I kneel down to Slag.

Slag: Break a leg, Mom.

Yang: As long as you cheer for me, I can't lose. *winks confidantly* You can count on me

       Slag wraps his arms around my neck in a hug, and I hug back and we stay like this until the announcer calls for me to step out onto the field. I kiss Slag on his forhead and walk out to the open arena, this time there are no terrains just a flat dueling arena.

Mercury: You're gonna need all the luck you can get against me.

Yang: Bring it on, I can take whatever you dish out.

Port: Ready. BEGIN!

      Mercury reacts first and shoots three shots from his boot guns, cool by the way, I react by bobbing and weeving between the shots and get closer with my arms in a blocking position. When I got past shot three, Mercury was in my face and throws a side kick, I barely manage to block and deflects it off my arms. I push him off and Mercury just does a few backflips to recover, I then go on the attack and throw as many punches as I can. I manage to throw five, all of them misses, before Mercury counters and tries to sweep my legs, I back up to avoid but he throws a roundhouse kick hitting me in the face, the follows it up with a powerful sidekick hitting me in the gut and sending me back several feet. I recover and skid to a stop on my feet and fire Ember Celica behind me to launch me forward, we both wind up powerful moves and we clash causing a shockwave. I can hear the crowd roar in excitment, but I am quickly called back to my opponent firing six shots at me, I can only try to block, by the time the smoke cleared, Mercury is already on the offensive and takes some serious hits to my Aura. I am knocked back with another sidekick and am slow to recover, when I do I see him winding up a massive attack by making a tornado looking thing with the shots from his weapons, he sends it at me and I use my Semblance to punch my fist into the floor causing a shockwave to block his attack.

Slag POV

     I watch mom fight this douche named Mercury, and on his next attack, which for some reason included breakdancing, Mom decided now to activate her Semblance. Why?

Slag: *to myself* Why now? It wasn't even a big attack.

Yang POV

     I rush Mercury and start throwing powerful punches and taking down his Aura, while he did try to counter, I was able to deflect it and continue assault, I finally stop as his Aura flashes and the teachers call the match.

Port: And that's what I call a serious beatdown.

Oobleck: And with that Team RWBY's Yang Xiao Long prevails and moves on to the final round.

*Crowd Cheers*

Yang: *smirks* Better luck next time.

As I walk away though, Mercury starts saying something.

Mercury: *menacingly* There isn't going to be a next time, Blonde.

      I turn around and see him already in the middle of a flying sidekick, I respond by punching back at him, but he ends up breaking his leg when we collide. Mercury dropped to the ground writhing in pain, but when Atlas soldiers came onto the arena, they point their weapons at me!

Yang: Hey! He attacked me! I-

I look at the jumbo screen with replay of the act, but it's showing that I attacked him whike he was down. Now I just stand there confused about what's going on.

Atlas Soldier: Yang Xiao Long. Stand down, you're under arrest.

Slag: *ROAR*

   I turn and see Slag's Dino-form charging towards me.

Atlas Soldier: WHAT IS THAT?!

The soldiers get out of Slag's way and Slag gets between me and them, he stands there stomping and roaring at the soldiers.

Soldier: Shoot it!

Yang: *snaps back to reality* NO!

     I get in front of Slag but the soldiers don't lower their weapons.

Yang: Please, he's just an 8 year old boy, he's just protecting me. Unless you know you can win, for god's sakes, stand down. Please.

Ironwood: Stand down! Now. Yang Xiao Long, please calm your boy, then we'll talk.

Yang: *nods* *turns to Slag* Slag, it's okay they're not bad people. You're scaring people, please.

Slag: *angered grunt* *small stomp with left foot*

Yang: *stern* Slag Xiao Long, stand down. Now.

Slag: *annoyed grunt* *transforms back to child* But, Mom.

Ironwood: Now, let's take this away from the field.

I pick up Slag and everyone walks off the stadium. Ruby meets up with me and I hand Slag off to her and ask her to watch him until I get back, much to Slag's disappointment. After an interrogation from Professor's Ozpin, Goodwitch and General Ironwood that seemed to last hours, I wasn't arrested but I wasn't allowed to participate in the tournament for the rest of the festival. Disheartened, I walked back to the dorm, still trying to process what happened and why. When I walk in, Slag rushes to me and hugs me, I hug back then pick him up and walk us to a chair sat between our bunk sets. The girls asked me to explain what happened in my match.

Yang: I don't know how I can be any clearer, than how crystal clear I am being, Mercury attacked me and I defended myself. That's it.

Weiss: Strange, everyone else saw that you attacked him while he was down and defeated.

Yang: I'm not crazy, Weiss!

Weiss: *hands up in defeat* Sorry. That's just what we all saw.

Ruby: Regardless, we believe you, Yang. Right, guys?

Weiss: Of course.

Swoop: Yeah!

Snarl: I'm in.

Slag: Always.

Sludge: Uh-huh. Hehe.

Blake: *remains silent*

Ruby: Blake?

Blake: I don't know.

Yang: Really?

Blake: Look, I've seen what happened to someone I once called a friend, he said it was an accident and I believed him. Then it kept happening again and again, until he turned into a monster.

Yang: I'm not like that.

Weiss: Yeah, Yang may be reckless and a thrill seeker but she's not a killer.

Blake: So was Adam.

Sludge: Mommy?

Blake: *looks at Yang* Look into my eyes and tell me how it happened.

Yang: *stares intently at Blake* He attacked me, it was self defense.

Blake: *relieved* Okay. I believe you.

Yang: Thanks. To be honest, I haven't actually been able to process what's going on.

Ruby: We'll let you get some rest and alone time.

Slag: Can I stay?

Yang: *smiles* Of course, kiddo.

Slag stays sat in my lap while the girls take their boys out with them, while I just sit in the chair and ponder what the hell is going on.

Ruby POV

      I walk out with the others.

Ruby: I'm going to continue looking for Grimlock.

Weiss: Alright, let us know if you need something.

     I run to, somewhere, I don't know, just to try and find any sign of my sweet little T-rex.

Ruby: Grimlock! Grim?! *sniffles* Grimlock! Please, come back to me. I just want to hold you again. *sniffles turns into crying* GRIMLOCK!

Grimlock POV

     Me. Grimlock can hear Mama yelling Grimlock name, but me, Grimlock find me restrained.

Me, Grimlock try to pull chains but end up shocked with lightning and can't speak because gag covering mouth.

Cinder: You can try, but you'll never be free. You're nothing but a unwanted child now serving a higher purpose. You don't belong to little red anymore, for you are my monster to do nothing but my bidding.

Grimlock: *angered growl followed by agonizing pain from taser* *finally stops struggling*

     The bitch calling herself Cinder just laughs and walks out, leaving Grimlock alone. What can Grimlock do?

(A/N): Wow, tough break Yang. Poor Grimlock, what do the bad guys have planned next? Find out next time, as the journey continues....
