3rd Person POV

In a snowy area, a train horn is heard blaring in the distance. The train in question, zooms by a mountainside as it is being chased by a type of Grimm called Manticores. One Manticore flies in but is shot from off screen, the camera then pans to Ruby with Crescent Rose in hand.

Ruby: Got him, now who's next?

A Manticore tries to attack Ruby from behind, but is taken out by several ice shards causing it to crash into the mountainside. Weiss then skates past Ruby thanks to her glyphs.

Weiss: Thank me later!

Weiss proceeds to take out two more Manticores, the resulting rockslide from her previous attack sent boulders tumbling toward the train, luckily Swoop in his Dinobot mode shoots most of the boulders into pebbles. The last one, however, was caught by Slam's robot mode and thrown at another Manticore. Slash's Dinobot form manages to take out three more Manticore while running faster than anyone can see.

Meanwhile, Blake uses Gambol Shroud's kisurigama form to swing herself into the air.

Blake: Incoming!

Blake throws Gambol Shroud's ribbon around the neck of a Manticore, allowing Yang to punch right through it. Blake then lands next to Yang.

Yang: Good to see you're not rusty.

Grimlock, in human form, is using his Semblance, Fire Breath, to fry some more Manticores, Slag, Snarl and Sludge are using scrap metal torn from the train as shields to lure the Manticores so they can smash them.

Slag: *notices Grimm* Grimlock!

Grimlock turns around and instinctively uses a hammerfist move to slam the Manticore into the train's roof, he then grabs it and lifts it looks around and yells.

Grimlock: Mom!

Ruby looks and sees, Grimlock winding up to throw the Manticore, she then uses her Semblance to gain speed and when Grimlock throws the Manticore, she reforms and use her rifle's recoil to launch herself at the Manticore, she then swings her scythe and bisects the Manticore length-wise.

Ruby: *lands next to Grimlock* Good to have you back!

Further down the train, Team JNPR are taking down Grimm as well, Jaune is standing back to back with Nora protecting her with his shield while Nora fires grenades at the Grimm.

Nora: Why is it always something?!

Jaune: Pyrrha, behind you!

Pyrrha: Got it!

Pyrrha uses the edge of her shield to hit one Manticore in the face, she then throws it taking out two more before it bounces off the mountainside and returns to her hand and blocking another Manticore. Ren then decapitates the Manticore and slams his blades into another as he lands. As the Manticore disintegrates, he fires at more to get their attention.

Nora: Ren!

Ren grabs Nora's arm and throws her at the Manticores, she fires two grenades before turning her weapon into her hammer and slamming it down on the last Manticore.

Oscar: Tunnel!

Everyone stops and notices the fast approaching tunnel.

Ruby: Go!

Sludge punches a hole in the roof of the train and all the Dinokids, minus Swoop go down it. The other Hunters rush to get inside the train, Weiss almost falls off but Ruby was able to catch her.

Ruby: Thank me later.

Ruby then uses her Semblance to rush them into the train car before hitting the tunnel-

(A/N): Hey! Wait a minute! Wait just one minute here! How did we get here? *looks at script* Ugh, people won't understand if we start in the middle of things. Let's reverse things and see what happened before this, huh?

Timeskip A Few hours earlier

A busy train station in Mistral is shown with people milling qbout whether they be buying tickets, shopping, eating food, and more. Holographic screens are shown with various train destinations such as, Argus, Wind Path, Kuchinashi, Shion, and Vale, the latter was crossed out and says "Out of Service". As Qrow and Ruby walk through the station the camera focuses in on our group, the Dinokids and their parents.

Ruby sees her friends and family chatting in the lobby. She uses her Semblance to grab some things and fly to through the gate to her group. She emerges smiling and humming, approaching the benches where everyone, minus Blake and Sludge, are waiting.

Yang: And?

Ruby: *shows them a bag* Ta da!

Weiss: What an absolute waste of ti-

Yang: What'd you get me?

Ruby: *singsong* You'll have to wait and see!

Yang: No fair!

Ruby sticks out her tounge, and after Yang failed to snatch the bag, Nora piped up.

Nora: I can't believe we're going to Argus. The Northern coastline. Do you really think it's too early for beach season.

A daydream of Ren in swimwear appeared in Nora's head. Ruby then intterupts.

Ruby: Unfortunately, but we will be one step closer to Atlas.

Weiss: *unamused* Well, I'm glad you all are excited. I don't think you appreciate the trouble I went through to leave Atlas.

Ruby: Don't worry Weiss, team RWBY and the Dinokids won't leave your side for a second.

Weiss smiled a little, which got bigger as Snarl readjusted himself laying his head on Weiss' lap and Swoop leaning against her right side reading a book. Slash was cuddled up, hugging Pyrrha tightly, afraid of her surroundings. Slag was playing a videogame on Yang's scroll, and Grimlock was asleep on the bench. Ruby frowned a little as she looked at Grimlock, ever since she got Grimlock back, he's been having nightmares again. Ruby has tried her best for him but is unsure of what to do for him.

Ruby: *crouches next to Grimlock* Grim? Sweety, wake up. I've got something for you.

Grimlock wakes up and yawns as he sees Ruby holding both a slice of pizza and a, stuffed dinosaur toy of all things? I don't know, I didn't write this part.

Grimlock actually took both with a small smile appearing on his face. Ruby then kissed the top of his head and affecionatley said.

Ruby: I love you, my little big guy. You can always count on me.

Grimlock: Thanks, Mom.

Meanwhile, Blake and Sludge are saying goodbye to Ilia.

Ilia: I'm still a little shocked you have a kid of your own, but he's very cute.

Blake: *gently ruffles Sludge's hair* Yeah, he is. You'll do fine here Ilia.

Ilia: I still don't feel like I deserve the freedom you and your family have given me.

Blake: You're gonna have to get over it. Saving Haven had a huge impact on how Faunus are seen in Mistral. Now it's up to you to keep that progress and run with it.

Ilia: Yeah, the White Fang may have been a failure, but with your father starting up this new movement, I have more faith than ever. *hugs Blake* Thank you, for everything. *choking up* I wish you didn't have to go.

Blake: My family needs me. I need to help find the people responsible for the attack on Haven and the Fall of Beacon.

Ilia: *giggles* Always trying to save the world.

Sludge: That's my Mommy. Heheh.

Blake and Ilia both laugh at that statement, then Ilia asks.

Ilia: I know your parents already saw you off, but where's-

Sun: Sun? He's right over here.

Sludge runs up and picks up Sun in a big Dino hug, Sun is finally allowed to breathe after Blake walks up to them.

Sun: *catching breath* What? You didn't think I was gonna miss your big send-off, did you?

Neptune: *pops up behind Sun* He totally overslept and almost missed this.

Sun growled at this statement and while Blake and Sludge were saying goodbye, the rest of our heroes were getting their stuff to load up onto the train.

Qrow: You Dinokids ready to see Atlas?

Swoop: A little nervous, but yeah.

Snarl: It sounds cold.

Slag: So long as I can beat something up along the way, I don't care where I go.

Slash: *shy* I just don't want to leave Mommy. *cuddles closer to Pyrrha*

Pyrrha: Don't worry, I'll be right here.

Grimlock: When train leave?

Ruby: Soon as Blake and Sludge return.

Blake: We're back.

Ruby: Great! All aboard everyone!

Everyone grabs their bags and boards the train, the teen mothers get their children settled first before settling into one of the bunk compartments.

Ruby: So, who's up for a videogame tournament, as a team building exercise of course.

Yang: You're on. Slag, can I have my scroll back?

Slag: *slightly bummed* Yeah. *hands over scroll*

Yang: Thanks, bud. *notices Slag's somber expression in his eyes* Hey, *places hand on Slag's head* you okay?

Slag: *recomposes* Yeah, fine. *Yang cocks an eyebrow* *sigh* I guess, I'm kinda gonna miss that overgrown fire lizard.

Yang: *smirks* Me too. But Y/n said we'd see him again.

Slag: Hmph! He can take his time.

Yang: *giggles* Ok, tough guy. Go see if Grimlock or Snarl will wrestle with you.

Slag: Yeah. *gets up and leaves*

Yang: *sigh*

Blake: He gonna be okay?

Yang: I don't know, he's been acting like he was when we first met, distant, angry, but underneath I know he's just scared and doesn't really want to be left alone again.

Weiss: One thing I have learned about being a parent since we took in the kids, is you can't always fix their problems, all we can do is sit back and be there for them when the flames jump up.

Ruby: Yeah, as long as Slag knows you'll be there for him when he needs you, he should be okay.

Yang smiles at the effort and support her teammates are giving her, but she also has her own trauma still to work thorugh, about how Adam almost ended her family and she couldn't do anything to stop him, and that scares her the most. However, before the videogame tournament get's underway the train suddenly shakes violently, in JNPR's car Slash latches onto Pyrrha and the other kids get up looking around confused.

Swoop: What in Remnant was that?!

Sludge: Sound big.

The kids mothers come rushing into the train car and Ruby tells them-

Ruby: Grimm are attacking the train.

Qrow: We're going out there to fight them off.

Grimlock: Dinobots, time for action.

Snarl: You've got it boss.

Slag: Finally, a real fight.

Sludge: *looks at Blake* Sludge smash?

Blake: Just don't go dino.

Sludge: Okiee dokie.

Weiss: Just be careful everyone.

The whole group climb outside onto the top of the train and Grimlock sees what they're up against.

Grimlock: Swoop, fly with train!

Swoop: No problem!

Swoop jumps off the train and transforms into his Dinobot form and flies through the air taking out Grimm while keeping up with the train. The two Huntsmen assigned to protect the train activate the trains armor and defense turrets which only manages to attract the Grimm to the passengers.

Ruby: Grimlock! Have the Dinokids focus on protecting the civilians!

Grimlock: Ok! Move it Dinobots!

(A/N): And we all know what happened from here.

(A/N): We all caught up? Good, and now back to our program.

Ruby: *semblance whooshing then reforms inside train* Everyone make it?

Snarl: Except Swoop, yeah.

Weiss: What?

Passenger: *screams*

Everyone looks out the back of the train and sees Swoop flying behind them, Grimlock opens the door as Swoop spins to shake a couple Grimm off him.

Grimlock: *beckons* Come on!

Swoop uses a burst of speed to get to the open door then transforms into kid form as he comes through and lands inside the train.

Swoop: *cocky* And he sticks the landing.

Snarl: Not bad, little brother.

Weiss rushes up and hugs Swoop, but Qrow is still a unhappy camper because of the two dweeb Huntsmen, Dee and Dudley, the former of which is dead and Dudley just bruised his arm during the escape into the train to avoid the tunnel. Oscar is tending to him when Qrow storms up to Dudley and starts tearing into him.

Qrow: I told you to turn those turrets off! *picks up Dudley and shoves him into the wall*

Dudley: *groans in pain* Those things are keeping us alive!

Qrow: Us, sure, but they're putting the passengers in danger!

Dudley: I'm the one they hired for this job, okay?! I'm in charge!

Qrow: Forgive me if I'm not exactly reassured.

As the two continue to argue, Ruby looks out the window and sees the Grimm continuing their pursuit of the train in the tunnel. She then looks behind her friends at various passengers and sees a baby crying and others murmuring to themselves. Ruby then looks back and walks up to Qrow and Dudley.

Dudley: Get off me!

Qrow: Look, if you bozos had been doing your jobs instead of shaking down passengers, maybe we wouldn't be in this-

Ruby stops her uncle and walks up to Dudley.

Ruby: Please, just turn off the turrets.

Jaune: Trust me, we know what we're doing.

Jaune uses his Semblance to heal Dudley's arm. Dudley then looks at the students and Dinokids before giving his answer.

Dudley: Fine.

Ruby nods.

Nora: Ren, could you use your Semblance to hide everyone on the train? With the turrets off and everyone masked we might have the chance to escape.

Ren: I don't know, I've never tried to affect this many people at once.

Pyrrha: But you've never had Jaune's Semblance to help you out.

Weiss: He could amplify your Aura!

Qrow: Yeah, that's an alright plan.

Nora: Don't look so worried, Ren. You can do this.

Ozpin: *mentally* May I?

Oscars eyes suddenly glow as Ozpin takes control.

Ozpin: There is one complication... The Grimm are also attracted to this. *gestures to the Relic of Knowledge*

Dudley: What's that?

Qrow: None of your buisness. Oz, are you serious?

Yang: When were you gonna tell us?!

Ruby: Not now.

Yang crosses her arms, Slag also follows suit, causing the others to stifle laughter.

Ruby: *refocuses* Every second we're onboard this train, we're putting people in danger. We can still mask everyone else if we move them to the front of the train. If Grimlock cuts off the back cars, with us and the relic onboard, we can distract the Grimm and destroy them. You all just need to make sure this train gets to Atlas.

Slam: *to Grimlock* *concerned grunt*

Grimlock: No Slam, you and Slash stay with family.

Slash: But-

Grimlock: It alright, we Dinobots not gone for long this time.

Qrow: Ruby, I think it'd be smarter for all the Dinokids to stay.

Sludge: No! Me, Sludge, stay with Mommy. *hugs Blake's leg*

Ruby: Normally I'd be inclined to agree, but once Grimlock sets his mind on something, there's no stopping him.

Weiss: Any of them.

Yang: Stay close, Slag.

Slag: Fine.

Pyrrha: Just, promise you'll come back.

Blake: With our kids by our sides, we'll be back.

Ruby: Promise.

With that, team JNPR, along with Slash and Slam, start evacuating passengers to the front half of the train. An elderly woman amongst the crowd is seen walking, looking behind her.

As soon as the train leaves the tunnel Grimpock transforms into Robot mode and uses his sword to slice the train car coupling. The front of the train starts pulling away as Ren and Jaune use their Semblance's to mask the emotions of them and the passengers. Swoop once again flies alongside the train taking out Grimm while avoiding others in Dinobot mode. Grimlock actually transforms into Dinobot mode himself and runs alongside the train occassionally taking out flying Manticores with his mighty jaws.

The group takes out Grimm after Grimm rather efficiently, one larger Sphinx looking Grimm then flies in fast towards the group, but Grimlock jumps and grabs the Sphinx by it's chest and the two crash and roll across the ground while the train starts to leave them behind.

Ruby: Grim!

She needn't worry, Grimlock wrestles tge Sphinx till it's the one dragging across the ground, he then clamps his jaws on the Grimm's neck and, with some effort, tears off the Sphinx's head. Swoop then notices something worrysome up ahead.

Swoop: Oh scrap.

Weiss: What is it, Swoop?!

Swoop: There's a holy hallelujah of a turn coming!

Grimlock manages to catch up to the gradually slowing train, Ruby then tells him-

Ruby: The train is going to crash if we hit that turn!

Grimlock: *Roars*

Grimlock manages to push his sprint even harder and nears the front, he then transforms into his robot mode-

Ruby: Brace for impact!

-and grabs the front car while extending his right leg and using his foot to drive it into the ground to bring the train to a stop just before they hit the turn. Grimlock stands up and looks to see everyone still accounted for, Swoop the transforms into Robot mode next Grimlock.

Swoop: Nice stop, Grimlock. *playfully punches Grim's arm*
