3rd Person POV

     The Vytal Festival Tournament is well underway and Team RWBY is right in the thick of it.

Ruby: Got your back, Sis!

????: Oh yeah, who's got yours?

       The opponent is then frozen in place by Weiss' glyph.

Ruby: My BFF.

Weiss: No.

Ruby: *to herself* Yes.

      Meanwhile, in the stands, the Dinokids are cheering for their mother's, well most of them.

Slag: *pout* Wish we were down there, that looks fun.

Grimlock: *sigh* Yeah.

Sludge: We not official team. Would be unfair.

Slag: I still want to fight!

Swoop: Well, you can take your complaints to your mom later.

Snarl: For now, let's just cheer for our moms!

Snarl/Swoop/Sludge: *excited* Yeah!

Grimlock: Suppose you're right.

Slag: *frustrated* Hmph!

     Back on the field-

Ruby: Bumblebee!

      Blake and Yang pull off their signature team combo and smash the remaining members of Team ABRN and win the match. As the crowd cheers for Team RWBY, Ruby looks around in disbelief.

Ruby: We-We did it?

     The others gave their approval and Ruby jumps for joy.

Ruby: We did iiiiiit! *transition to fairgrounds* Is anyone else starving?

Blake: I may have worked up an appetite. *stomach growls loudly*

Weiss: *facetiously* Oh, if only there was someplace to grab some food. Oh wait.

Ruby: Don't worry Weiss, I forget about the fairgrounds sometimes too.

Weiss: I was being facetious.

Yang: Let's grab the kids and start looking for a food stand.

Emerald: Gonna be a little hard without your money. *holds up Ruby's wallet*

Ruby: Huh?! *checks her pockets* No. No. No.

Emerald: Heheh. Good to see you Ruby. *hands Ruby her wallet* Good job on winning that round.

Ruby: Oh, it was a team effort.

Emerald: So the doubles round is next, who are you electing to battle.

Ruby: Well, we thought it over and are having Weiss and Yang participate.

Emerald: Very cool.

Sludge: Mommy!

     Just as the team turn to the voices Blake is tackled into a hug from Sludge, the rest of the kids were not far behind. Swoop and Snarl embrace Weiss in a group hug, Slag fistbumps Yang before hugging her as well before he starts asking if he can fight too, Grimlock accepts Ruby's joyous hug. Grimlock then started smelling something worringly familiar, he looked at Emerald and Mercury and figured that's where the scent came from.

Emerald: Who are these little guys?

Grimlock: *low growl*

Ruby: Easy Grim. These are our kids, we found them in the Emerald Forest and took them in. This is Grimlock.

Grimlock: *snarling hiss*

Yang: Ok? Uh, this is Slag.

Slag: *acts tough* Hmph! Hey.

Weiss: This is Snarl and Swoop.

Swoop: *friendly* Hi.

Snarl: Hello.

Blake: *finally recovers* And this is Sludge. We didn't give them these names.

Sludge: *smiles* Heheh. Hi.

Emerald: Well, they make up for that with being so cute.

Ruby: Thanks.

Sludge: Mommy, Sludge hungry.

Blake: Alright, let's find something to eat.

Ruby: We'd better get going. See you later Emerald.

Emerald: Later, Rubes.

      The big family find a noodle stand and get their orders, the kids get the same size bowls as their parents, Weiss then pulls out a shiny debit card.

Yang: Aw, what's the occassion, Weiss?

Weiss: Consider it thanks for sending me to the doubles round.

      The card was thrown back like a ninja star and the cashier shows that the card was declined.

Weiss: What?! How can my card be declined? I was barely into my allowance.

Blake: *as her food gets taken* No!

Pyrrha: Well, I think I can help with this problem. *to the cashier* We'll have the same.

Ruby: You don't have to do that.

Blake: But she could.

Swoop: *does best puppy eyes impression* Please?

Pyrrha: *giggles* Of course guys.

     Food finally paid for, everyone enjoys their meal, and only Jaune seems to feel sick from eating as much as he did.

Grimlock: *BURP* *uses toothpick*

Ruby: *holding back laughter* Grim?

Grimlock: Hmm? *realizes* Oh, excuse me.

Ruby: Thank you. *hugs Grimlock*

      Team JNPR is called to the arena for their match.

Ruby: Ok, guys, wanna watch Team JNPR win?!

Weiss: It's only fair.

Grimlock: I wanna hit something though.

Slag: I agree. I'm bored.

Yang: Tell you what. You help us cheer on Team JNPR, we'll train with you afterwards. Deal?

Kids: Deal.

Ruby: Alright team, here's to victory!

Everyone: Yeah!

        The big family head to their seats and start cheering for their friends, the battle was hard fought, the kids started cheering extra hard when Nora charged herself up with lightning. Nora has really become like a big sister or the fun aunt that knows how to liven a party at a boring family reunion. Nora and Pyrrha deliver the final blow to their opponents and Team JNPR are declared the winner. The RWBY family head down to congratulate their friends when Weiss notices a ship flying overhead.

Ruby: *bumps into Weiss* Oh! Weiss? *looks at ship* Do you know that ship?

Weiss: *excited* Yes! It's my sister! Come on!

Swoop: Mommy? Wait up! *chases after Weiss*

      Snarl and Grimlock end up left behind standing next to Yang and Blake.

Grimlock: So, now what?

Yang: We're still going to the training room. Come on. They'll meet us there when they're done.

Grimlock: Ok?

     Blake and Yang lead the remaining kids to the training room, the kids are getting pretty good, for their age, and apart from Grimlock, they are all becoming quickdraws with their transformations. Grimlock has advanced quite a bit faster than the others though, so much so that today Sludge, Snarl and Slag have been told to duel against Grimlock, at the same time. According to Blake, it's to help with their teammwork when up against a powerful opponent. Grimlock is being hit from multiple angles and getting angrier and angrier when he misses his hits or his brothers block, Blake notices.

Blake: Grimlock, keep your center.

Slag: Come on Grim! How can you beat us if you can't even hit us!

Grimlock: GRRAAHHH!

     Grimlock transforms into dino mode except this time his tail has turned into a metal robotic version.

Yang: Grimlock, NO!

       Driven by anger, Grimlock swings his tail at Slag sending him flying into Sludge's dino form and knocking them both to the ground.

Blake: Sludge! Slag!

Yang: Grimlock! That's enough, get yourself under control right now, young man!

      Almost immediately Grimlock shifted back into a kid and saw the destruction he caused.

Grimlock: *looks at his now shaking hands* Wha-What is wrong with me?

     Before Yang can respond, Grimlock runs out of the training room, Yang turned to Blake.

Blake: They'll be okay. Their Aura took most of the damage.

Yang: *sigh of relief* Thank goodness.

Slag: *groans* That was cool. Let's do it again.

    Blake then pulls out her scroll.

Yang: Who're you calling?

Blake: Ruby, she needs to know what happened.

Ruby: *answers call* Hello?

Blake: Ruby-

Ruby: Oh Blake, how's training going?

Blake: Ruby, something has happened. It's Grimlock.

      SORRY FOR THE DELAY! This story has had me stumped for a bit, but I think I have it figured out for this and next season. Now I will be switching my attention between all of my works so I will get to them all eventually. Thank you for you eternal patience and I'll see you all next time. PEACE OUT!!!
