3rd Person POV

     Ruby and Grimlock go to meet with Professor Ozpin in his office. Ruby had actually pressed all the buttons on the elevator and so it takes a lot longer than usual. When the door finally opens up to the office Professor Goodwitch and General Ironwood are impatiently waiting.

Ruby: Sorry we're late. Someone had pressed all of the buttons on the elevator..... It wasn't me.

Grimlock: But I thought-

Ozpin: Thank you both for coming. How do yoi two feel after last night.

Grimlock: Hmph!

Ruby: Okay, I would feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't over 3. Heheh. *teachers unamused* Okay, that's the tone we're going for, got it.

Ironwood: I just want to say that you both did was admirable. You recognized a threat, you took action and you did the best you could.

Ruby: Thank you sir.

Grimlock: *growls*

Ozpin: Grimlock?

Grimlock: I almost had her! I had her dead to rights but I allowed myself to be distracted and she used that to escape. RAGH! *punches hole in wall*

Ruby: *worried* Grimlock!

     Ruby rushes to Grimlock and pull him into a hug, she did everything to calm him down so he didn't go dino and wreck the place.

Ruby: Shh, it's okay. We'll get them one of these days, I gaurentee it.

Grimlock: Sorry, Grimlock don't like losing.

Ruby: It's okay. You can just use this opportunity to become stronger so you can win next time.

     Ruby keeps Grimlock in her arms for a minute before Ozpin called back their attention.

Ozpin: Can either of you remember anything else from last night?

Goodwitch: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar at all?

Ruby: I remember she fought with glass and her clothes lit up whenever she attacked. I don't think that was her Semblance though. And no, I didn't recognize her, she wore a mask the whole time and she never said anything.

Grimlock: Grimlock know her.

Ruby: Grimlock? How?

Grimlock: She was... the woman overseeing the experiments done to Grimlock and brothers.

Ozpin: Are you sure?

Grimlock: Grimlock never saw her but Grimlock know her scent anywhere.

Goodwitch: Hmm, save for the glass, that sounds a lot like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby.

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age old technique. It could've been anyone.

Ruby: *holds Grimlock's hand* Do you think she could be connected to Roman Torchwick and the White Fang?

Ozpin: We don't know and we lack any evidence to the contrary.

Ruby: Hmm, oh I do remember something else. Grimlock told me he heard her say something about happening in the southeast before we arrived.

Grimlock: I-

Ozpin: That is interesting. Thank you two.

Ruby: Anytime.

      Ruby leads a very confused Grimlock back to the elevator and explains.

Ruby: Sorry about that Grimlock, but Blake found out that the White Fang was operating somewhere in the southeast and the teachers needed to know about this.

Grimlock: But why did you say I heard it.

Ruby: Because you seem to have very good hearing and it would make it more believable. Again, I'm sorry about that.

Grimlock: So, what now?

Ruby: Well, the girls and I have our first training mission outside the school to get ready for and I asked Professor Goodwitch to look after you and your brothers.

Grimlock: Aww! But Grimlock want to help!

Ruby: I know but I am afraid you might just get hurt out there, and if you got hurt, I don't know what I'd do. You are the most important person to me and I just want to keep you safe.

Grimlock: Grimlock safest with you.

Ruby: *sigh* I know. I really wish I could take you with, you've grown so strong already, but the teachers are adament. No children on these missions.

     Grimlock hugs Ruby and the pair leave the elevator and returned to the dorm room, as soon as Ruby opens the door-

WBY: What happened?!

Ruby: Heh. Uh, well.

     After Ruby recounts what happened Grimlock sits with the other boys while their moms talked.

Yang: Oh! I know what will make you feel better.

Ruby: What's that?

Yang: Don't know. Dad sent it to us, I thought we could open it together.

Ruby: *excited* Oh! Something from home.

     Ruby tries to get the package but Yang keeps it out of reach and then shakes it till something falls out. The object in question then unfolds into-

????: *barks*

Ruby: Ah! ZWEI!

     The dog jumps into Ruby's arms and starts licking her.

Blake: He sent a dog?!

Weiss: In the mail?!

Yang: Oh, he does stuff like this all the time.

Blake: *moves up to Ruby's bed* Your father or your dog?

Grimlock: What's a dog?

Ruby: Oh yeah. Zwei, look, you have new friends to play with. Boys, this is Zwei, he's a family pet. Don't worry he won't hurt you.

      The boys are a little hesitant but Sludge gets over it and gently pets Zwei, Zwei responds with licking Sludge's face which causes the boy to start laughing. The rest soon joined in as Yang read a letter from her dad asking her and Ruby to watch Zwei for a few days. She then tips over the box and cans of dog food falls out along with a can opener.

Yang: Well, that settles it. Come on everyone, Zwei will be here when we get back.

    Everyone follows Yang but Ruby and Grimlock lag behind, until Ruby gets an idea and stuffs Zwei into a backpack, this grinded Grimlock's gears.

Grimlock: So dumb dog can go, but Grimlock can't. That's just mean.

Ruby: Zwei has been trained for this and he has more experience.

Grimlock: HMPH!

      The boys hang out in the back of the auditorium as Ozpin gives a speech about the missions. Team RWBY say their goodbyes to the boys and as usual, Sludge and Swoop were very vocal about they're parents leaving for a week. Eventually, the girls leave and the boys stand there watching. Slag and Grimlock look at each other and finally agree on something for once.

Grimlock: Come on let's go smash some Grimm.

Slag: Music to my ears.

Snarl: Let's do it.

Sludge: We sneak out again?

Swoop: One problem, we don't have any combat gear.

Grimlock: We're Dino-kids, we don't need combat gear!

Swoop: I suppose, but we should at least pick up some weapons from the training room.

      The boys agree and grab some basic swords and axes and head back to the airpad and Grimlock finds the bullhead they're mom's are going on. They somehow sneak aboard before everyone else and without being noticed, Grimlock stuffs everyone in the cargo hold and closes the hatch as he too gets comfortable in the hold. The bullhead takes off and while the adults talk Grimlock tries to listen but Sludge is getting fidgety.

Yang: I guess I just never saw you as much of a fighter!

Oobleck: I admit, I am more of a intellectual, but I assure, as a huntsman, I've had my fair share of tussles.

Ruby: *scratches her head* Like the mushroom?

Blake: Those are truffles.

Ruby: Like the sprout?

Yang: Those are brussels.

Oobleck: Because of my expertise as a historian as well as my dabblings into archeology, Professor Ozpin saw fit to assign me to this particular, assignment.

Weiss: What does history have to do with this?

Oobleck: Why what a proposterous question you silly girl. History is the backbone of our very society, and the liver, and probably the kidneys if I were to wager.

Weiss: And that means?

Oobleck: The southeast quadrant is home to many forests and caves but also home to one of the kingdoms greatest failures.

Ruby: Mountain Glenn.

Yang: That's right it was an expansion of Vale but in the end it was overrun by Grimm and... *notices sounds* closed off.

Blake: Yang?

      Yang walks over near the cargo hold and opens the door and suddenly the boys fall out of the cargo hold in a dog pile.

Grimlock: Slag! Get foot out of Grimlock's back!

Slag: Swoop, get your beak out of my butt!

Sludge: Cannon Ball!

Snarl: Nononono!

     Sludge then lands ontop of the dog pile and laughes as the others groan in pain. Grimlock then forces his way out of the bottom of the pile as Ruby is slightly amused by their trick but Weiss is is not happy.

Weiss: Snarl and Swoop Schnee! What do you think you're doing here?!

Snarl: The only way we're going to get better is by testing ourselves.

Blake: Not this early though, you all have barely mastered your Aura and Semblance's not to mention your combat skills! It's way too dangerous for you to be out here.

Oobleck: You girls brought young children along on a Huntsman mission?!

Grimlock: We Dino-kids! We do what we like!

Ruby: Look, Doctor. We're already too far out to take our sons back so for now they're stuck with us. But I do have one rule if you're going to work with us. You stay close to us and do exactly what we say when we say it. Do you understand?

Boys: Yes Ma'am.

Sludge: Isn't that two rules?

Blake: *sigh*

      The bullhead lands in Mountain Glenn and the group departs and looks around the desolate and decrepit city.

Oobleck: Children, you may be students but from here your first mission as Hunters has begun. From this point forward you must do exactly as I say. Do you understand?

     Everyone agrees and it is soon revealed that Ruby brought Zwei without anyone else's knowledge. Oobkeck seemed much more okay with a fricking dog than small children under the age of ten, that can turn into dinosaurs! Ugh, adults right?

Blake: So, what are your orders, Doctor?

Oobleck: Ah, straight to the chase. I like it. *drops Zwei* This area has been a hotspot for recent Grimm activity. Now there are many reasons for this, one of which being, Grimm.

Weiss: Uh?

Swoop: What?

Oobleck: Grimm. A creature of Grimm aproximately 100 yards ahead of us now.

     The youngsters turn around and see a Beowolf and ready their weapons, Oobleck stops them from attacking though.

Oobleck: Wait. There are a number of reasons why Grimm would congregate in this particular area. Their attraction to negativity, sadness anger, hatred. All emotions of our group harboring ill intent.

Blake: So, now what?

Oobleck: We wait. We track.

Slag: *groans in annoyance* You're kidding?

Oobleck: If the specimen leads us to it's pack they may subsequently lead us to our prey.

Yang: How long will that take?

Oobleck: Hours, days, weeks. Why lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated for months.

Grimlock: OH, NUTS TO THIS! *Roars*

Ruby: Grimlock! No!

      Grimlock charges forward and goes dino and starts tearing into the pack of Grimm that just showed up. Grimlock first jumped and managed a roll when he landed on his back, crushing Grimm in the process, he rolls onto his feet and bites down on several more and tail swipes some more as he throws the dead ones he had in his mouth. The other boys watch with envy but wait for the go ahead from their mother's

Slag: Might as well destroy them now, right?

Oobleck: *groans* Fine.

The girls give their boys the go ahead and the rest of the boys transform and charge in after Grimlock and take down the rest of the pack.

Yang: Ruby, don't you think we should help them?

Ruby: Nah, let them work it out of their system.

Weiss: So, what now Professor?

Oobleck: Doctor. We should look for signs of activity that might explain the high concentration of Grimm.

So while Weiss and Blake help Oobleck with searching for clues, Ruby and Yang keep an eye on their Dino-kids so they don't get in over their heads, but they appear to be having fun. The Dino-kids keep tearing through every Grimm they see, Swoop was keeping an eye out from above and shrieking out Grimm positions to the others, while Sludge played defense of their mom's and Oobleck and Grimlock led Slag and Snarl on the attack. Ruby knows one thing, this is going to be an interesting experience for everyone involved.
