3rd Person POV

Ruby: Anything, Grim?

Grimlock: *sniffs* No, still too many. Can't pick up scent.

Ruby: *calls on comm link* Pyrrha? Any luck?

Pyrrha: *over comm* Nothing, we're headed towards the square next.

Ruby: Keep in touch. *calls over comm link* Arcee? Swoop? Anything?

Arcee: *over comms* Nothing, Ruby.

Swoop: *over comm* *saddened shrill*

Ruby: Don't stay out too much longer Argus is closing the gates for the night soon.

Arcee: *over comm* Copy that.

Swoop: *over comm* *agreement shrill*

Meanwhile, with Team JNPR-

Nora: Oscar!

Ren: Please answer us!

Slash: I hope he's okay.

Pyrrha: Oscar's a pretty tough kid. I'm sure he'll be alright.

Jaune: Then again he's only 5 years older than Grimlock. *groans*

Nora: *sees coffee shop* Why don't we grab a quick pick-me-up?

Ren: A good idea.

Jaune: You guys go ahead.

Nora and Ren look at Pyrrha, she nods and they take both Slam and Slash to the stand, and Pyrrha sits next to Jaune.

Pyrrha: There's more going than just what happened with Oscar, isn't there?

Jaune: I've.... been strughling with everything since Beacon. I failed to protect you and Amber from Salem, I was a coward for not going with you to face down Cinder. Ever since then, I've been a failure as a leader, and as a friend.

Pyrrha: Stop that. You're being too hard on yourself, your friends love you. No one is perfect, but if you can just be the best version of yourself and try your best than that's more than enough for us. For me.

Pyrrha leans over and kisses Jaune's cheek, which surprised him causing him to blush, when Jaune looks at Pyrrha, he sees she's blushing too.

Pyrrha: As a Hunter and as a friend we have a duty to at least try, that's all anyone can ask for. I felt like I was the only one who could stand up to Cinder and try to stop her, I knew I wasn't going to win, but if it meant you and the others could live then that was enough.

Jaune: Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: But now I see that you don't fight to die for your friends, you live for them, because they need you and love you-

Jaune cuts Pyrrha off by kissing her on the lips, Pyrrha was surprised at first but soon melted into it and returned the kiss. The two remained like this until-

Nora: Ha! Told you Ren! You owe me 5 lien.

Ren: I don't remember a bet being made.

Jaune and Pyrrha pull away and blush in embarrassment. Slash approached Jaune and Pyrrha and hugs them both, the pair return the hug when she says.

Slash: I love Mommy and Daddy.

Jaune: Let's not jump that far but if that's what you like then I'm okay with it.

Pyrrha: *blushes harder* S-Sure.

The trio seperate and Jaune stands up and says.

Jaune: Let's look for a little longer then we'll head back when the sun goes down.

Nora: Aye, aye, Captain. Heheh!

Slam: *grunts in encouragment*

Ren: *stoic* You tell them, Slam.

Elsewhere in Remnant...

Bulkhead is sitting on a hill patiently waiting, while Miko is snoring against his feet, that is until he starts to hear an engine getting closer.

Bulkhead: *stands* Miko, wake up.

Miko: *falls but sits up and yawns* Why?

Bulkhead transforms his right hand into a blaster and the other into a mace.

Bulkhead: Someone's coming.

Bulkhead readies his blaster as the sound of the engine gets closer, until-

Bulkhead: *puts weapons away* I know the hum of that engine anywhere.

Bulkhead runs down the hill as Wheeljack rounds the bend comes to a stop and transforms into robot mode.

Bulkhead: Ha ha! Jackie! *hugs Wheeljack* Where you been, Buddy?!

Wheeljack: *strained speech* Just catching up with a few old dance partners.

Miko then takes a photo with her scroll and Bulkhead lets go of Wheeljack.

Wheeljack: Good to see you, kid. I'm assuming we're the only three Wreckers here?

Miko: Then what are we waiting for? Let's do some damage.

Back at Darkmount.....

Bulkhead: *over radio* What's the plan, Jackie, circle back to base?

Wheeljack: *over radio* There is no base, 'Cons blasted it to dust.

Starscream: The dimwit played right into my hands. *chuckles* All Seekers to the Flight Deck! We have pinpointed the enemy!

Outside, five Seeker drones fly out to the location Wheeljack's transmitter is signalling from, as they get closer...

Starscream: Attack, my Armada!

The Seeker's land near a river and Wheeljack's transmitter is signalling he's getting closer.

Seeker: We are at the coordinates, Commander Starscream.

Starscream: Hold fast. They're approaching your positon.

Just then, a log is seen approaching the Seekers, they hold their position until it gets closer.

Not far away up in a cliff behind the Seekers, Wheeljack, Bulkhead and Miko are watching.

Bulkhead: Targets in range.

Wheeljack prepares a detonator. The log gets closer and closer to the Seekers until-

Wheeljack: And... Boom. *presses detonator button*

Seeker: Grenade!

*EXPLOSION*

The resulting explosion is more than enough to destroy the Seekers, much to Starscream's dismay.

Starscream: *distraught* He tricked us.

Even worse, Megatron witnessed the operation and was growing increasingly frustrated with no Autobot corpses. Back with the Wreckers...

Miko: How'd you know the 'Cons put a tracker on you?

Wheeljack: Figured they were up to something so I poked around under my hood

Bulkhead: *laughs* That's my Jackie!

Miko: So, what's our next move?

Wheeljack: I salvaged some munitions from the Jackhammer on my way out. *transforms into Vehicle mode* You thought that made a loud noise? Just wait. *drives off*

Bulkhead transforms, Miko climbs in and the group drive down the road....

Meanwhile, somewhere in Solitas, Bumblebee and Rafael have found the downed Decepticon ship, The Harbinger, and are trying to power it up.

Bumblebee: *plugs in cable* *series of beeps* *thumbs up*

Rafael: Hold it steady, Bee. *presses series of buttons on console* And powering up!

The room starts to light up for a few seconds but then it all goes dark and Bee drops his head in defeat.

Rafael: Keep trying, we'll figure it out. *raises hand to touch screen*

Ratchet: Yip-yip-yip.

Raf and Bee look and see Ratchet in the doorway.

Ratchet: You're mis-calibrating the Energon Transducer.

Rafael: Ratchet!

Ratchet: *approaches console* Now step out of my way so I can work.

Ratchet starts pressing buttons on the console, then looks at Rafael and smirks.

Back in Argus....

Ruby: *disappointed sigh*

Yang: I've never seen him this bad.

Ruby, along with the Dinobots, Maria and the rest of Team RWBY, find Qrow passed out drunk on the steps to Terra and Saphron's house.

Ruby: Come on, let's get him up.

Yang and Ruby help their uncle to his feet, as stirs and rubs his eyes.

Qrow: Why am I on the stairs?

Grimlock: Because no one was home!

Ruby: We've been out looking for Oscar.

Qrow: Oscar?

The group hears footsteps then the rumble of a motorcyle engine and look to see everyone else returning. Terra and Saphron look at Qrow.

Terra: *sarcastic* I'm sure this looks wonderful to the neighbors.

Saphron lightly elbows her wife as the Jaune and Ren approach.

Ren: Any luck?

Blake: No, you?

Jaune: Don't worry. We aren't going anywhere without him.

Ruby: We?

The members of team JNPR, as well as Slash and Slam, share a smile.

Jaune: *to Saphron* Sorry we won't be staying.

Saphron: *smirks* No you're not.

Terra: Maybe we should get out of the cold?

The door to the house is heard opening. Everyone gasps in shock as a familiar voice is heard.

Oscar: Oh, I was wondering when you'd get back.

Oscar is seen standing in the doorway with a new fancy green coat.

Everyone: OSCAR!!

Nora screams in joy as Oscar intially had a confused look on his face, which turned into comical terror as the eight students all leap forward and tackle hug him. Now inside the house, Ruby helps Oscar up as everyone shares a laugh.

Weiss: You had us worried sick!

Ruby: Are you okay?

Nora: *grinning* What are you wearing?

Oscar: *rubs the back of his head* Uh...

The rest of the group step into the house with Grimlock and Sludge holding up Qrow.

Snarl: See told you he'd be okay.

Slag: *feigning interest* I wasn't worried.

Terra: *sniffs* Is something cooking?

Oscar: Oh, I thought you all might like nice hot meal after... spending all day looking for me, apparently.

Jaune: It's my fault we were out there in the first place. Oscar, I am so sorry for before, I was way, way out of line, and what I said-

Oscar: No it's okay. These past few days, I've been scared of the same things you were. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be... me. But I did some thinking, and I do know that I want to do everything I can to help with whatecer time I have left.

Jaune: Good. This team isn't the same without you.

Everyone shares a smile, until-

Oscar: Ah! The casserole!

Saphron: It's okay chef, we've got it covered.

Everyone else starts to file into the living room.

Jack: You guys really treat each other like a family.

Slam: *series of grunts*

Ren: Couldn't have said it better myself, Slam.

Nora: Aw! Look at my little guy growing up so fast.

Nora hugs Slam tight, then Ruby turns to Qrow walking upstairs.

Ruby: *sternly* Where are you going now?

Qrow: I don't want to get in the way of your celebration.

Ruby: You've been gone all day! Just sit with us.

Qrow: *sigh* Look, Ruby, I'm glad you kids worked out, whatever all that was, but the fact is we're not any closer to getting to Atlas.

Jaune: Actually, I might have an idea about that. But... it's a no-going-back sort of plan.

Slag: This oughta be good.

Ruby: Okay, let's hear it.

Jaune: With Cordo on watch, only Atlas airships have the clearance to leave for Solitas. So... we... steal an Atlas airship. *nervously shrugs on final statement*

Everyone grows shocked expressions on their faces, even the Dinobots were shocked at this plan.

Arcee: Okay, remember when I called Slag crazy? You got him beat, kid.

Weiss: That's not just vreaking the law. That's.... that's defonitely worse.

Pyrrha: Jaune, are you sure about this?

Jaune: I still need to figure out how, but, it might be our only option at this point.

Qrow: Okay, stop. Just... stop! Look, if this thing goes south, it's not something we can just fight our way out of. This is the Atlas Military we're talking about. *sigh* For all your sakes, just drop this.

Everyone looks down with discouraged looks. Ruby notices and turns back to her uncle with a determined expression.

Ruby: I want to hear him out.

Qrow: Ruby-

Ruby: I want to hear him out! I know you're trying to protect us, that you're afraid we can't do it, but right now, I don't care what you think!

Qrow gains a shocked wxpression upon hearing this.

Ruby: Just because you don't have a plan, doesn't mean we're out of options! Oz hasn't been here to tell us what to do, but we still managed to get this far anyway. We've been in bad situations before, and we don't need an adult to come save us or tell us what to do. We just did it our way! And I day we do it our way. And if you think you can keep up with us "kids"... we'd be happy to have you.

Qrow looks down sadly.

Grimlock: You don't give Mom enough credit.

Qrow doesn't say anything and looks back at Ruby while she looks back at him determined.

Back at Darkmount though, tensions are running high.

Megatron: So not only did you fail to destroy any Autobots but you allowed their number to increase. Is there no one who can bring me their heads?!

Shockwave: If I may, Lord Megatron. During my time in the Shadow Realm of this planet, I resumed work on a long dormant project. One that may provude a solution to our current problem. *pulls up screen*

Knock Out: Cyber Nucleic Acid?

Shockwave: The building blocks for all Cybertronian life. It's helped allow me to hybridize the Dinobots with their human forms, it also allowed progress on the project in question. This specific sequence was excavated from a speciman that I found on Cybertron before the Exodus, and has yielded promising results.

Starscream: The Autobots continue to evade us. What makes you think we can afford to wait for the answer to our prayers to be birthed in some petri dish?

Shockwave: You misunderstand. The subject has been fully cultivated, and need only be transported from my lab in the Shadow Realm.

Megatron: Then by all means. Soundwave, open a ground bridge portal.

Shockwave is teleported to his lab and as he activates the stasis pod.

Salem: A matter has come up, I could use your assistance with.

Shockwave: I already have a mission from my one true master, Lord Megatron. You do not get to give me orders.

Back at Darkmount, Megatron is rather impatient, but eventually Shockwave reopens the Ground Bridge and walks through, then states.

Shockwave: Behold, the Ultimate Autobot Hunter.

Loud, heavy footsteps are heard as a massive figure stomps out from the portal, it seems so huge that it covers Megatron in it's shadow, it then roars as the camera goes black.

(A/N): Whoa. Intense. Ahem, I mean, CUT! Good take everyone, take lunch and get some rest everyone is going to be moving a lot tomorrow.

Hope is rekindled, but something even more sinister than the Dinobots has just come into play. Let's see how our heroes fair in the future.
