3rd Person POV

Predaking: *Growls*

Grimlock: Let's see if you can back it up! Raaahhh!

Grimlock and Predaking charge at each other and clash causing a massive shockwave that shakes the entire tundra for miles.

Inside the particle collider building, the Autobots and Dinobots felt the quake and tried to steady themselves.

Arcee: Whoa!

Slag: He's really going for it!

Optimus: Let's stop the Decepticons quickly before things get out of hand!

The Autobots engage the Decepticons with Slag leading the charge, but the Decepticons were ready for them.

Back outside, Predaking won the collision, grabbed Grimlock and dragged him across the ground and up an ice cliff. Grimlock lost his rifle as he was dragged up the cliff, but he pulled himself together and elbowed Predaking in the head, then lifted his legs and pushed off the cliff face. The two crash and roll on the ground, both titans recover quickly, Predaking transforms into his robot form and takes a punch from Grimlock without falling over, Predaking reels back and throws a punch from the right, which Grimlock manages to catch Predaking's arm. Predaking tried to punch with his left fist, Grimlock stopped his fist and the two struggle for control.

Grimlock then started squeezing Predaking right arm and crushing the armor around it. Predaking transformed his right hand into his flame blaster and shot Grimlock in the head. This loosened Grimlock's grip, so Predaking could get free, Predaking then grabbed Grimlock by the shoulders and headbutted him. Grimlock's Aura absorbed the hit with him suffering no recoil, Grimlock then headbutted back harder and sent Predaking tumbling backwards.

Predaking recovered and transformed back into his beast mode and sprint flew into Grimlock, did a front flip over Grimlock, grabbed him and threw him into the cliff wall. Grimlock recovered quickly and sprinted at Predaking, who was already charging at him, swung his right claws upwards, Grimlock leaned left to dodge them then jabbed Predaking in the side, causing him to collapse on one side. Grimlock then brought his elbow up and slammed it down onto Predaking's head. Grimlock then grabbed him by his neck and flipped Predaking over his shoulders and slammed him into the ground.

Grimlock then activated his sword and raised it to drive it down into Predaking's chest, but Predaking responded by flying forward and taking out Grimlock's legs from beneath him, causing him to fall flat on his face. Grimlock recovered and got onto one knee, but couldn't stop Predaking from flying in and strafing him across his chest with claws. Grimlock recovered as Predaking tried again, but this time Grimlock jumped at Predaking and tackled him to the ground which happened to crash right into the facility that the Autobots are fighting through Decepticons entrenched forces.

Ultra Magnus: Incoming!

The Autobots take cover as the two titanic combatants wrestled in the hallway, Grimlock managed to punch Predaking right where his fire generating organ was and managed to get Predaking off him. Grimlock then grabbed Predaking by the tail, lifted him up and slammed him down on the ground several times then threw Predaking out into the open tundra air. Grimlock then jumped after him, tackled Predaking then grabbed him, spun around in midair and threw Predaking into the ground below. Grimlock then did a superhero landing and rose to his feet. Predaking was not moving, so Grimlock assumed the fight was over.

Grimlock: Hmph. Lightweight.

Back in the facility, Sludge saw the final moments of the fight and told the others.

Sludge: Grimlock win!

Slag: Ha! Knew he would!

Shockwave: Not possible.

Optimus: Let's finish this! Secure the objective!

Back at the Autobot base, Ratchet is still working on the Synthetic Energon formula, he glances over at the balcony and sees Ruby sitting on the couch.

Ruby: *yawns*

Ratchet: It's late Ms. Rose, you should get some rest.

Ruby: I can't, not with Grimlock still out there fighting against Predaking. It scares me that I can't help him this time. I've tried to be there for him in every situation but the one time I can't help him, I just get scared of the outcome. Like back during the Fall of Beacon, he faced down Cinder and a Wyvern Grimm all by himself and he only just unlocked his robot forms. He ended up getting captured and taken back to Shockwave.

Ratchet: .... Ruby, I may not know Grimlock like you do, but one thing I've always seen in him are the attributes of a warrior who will keep fighting no matter the cost till he can't fight anymore. You needn't worry so much, for he is more powerful than all of us.

Ruby: It still scares me, considering the angered state he's in after Predaking's last attack.

Back in the tundra, Grimlock starts walking away from Predaking unmoving body, until Predaking regains consciousness and stands on his feet and screechs. Grimlock turned around and both goliaths readied for round 2.

Predaking: An admirable effort, Dinobot. But it took a cataclysm to destroy my ancestors. You never stood a chance against me. A failed experiment that will achieve nothing great because you are too weak.

Grimlock: *eyes turn red* Grimlock no failure, Me Grimlock Dino-King! *transforms into Dinobot mode*

Grimlock: *ROOOAAAR!*

The other Dinobots heard the roar from inside the facility.

Sludge: Uh-oh.

Slam: *series of grunts* ?

Slag: Yup, Grim's pissed now.

Optimus keeps pressing forward until the Autobots make their way to the main area where Shockwave is trying to get the Particle Collider Synchrotron. The Decepticons engage the Autobots while Shockwave works.

Shockwave: Lord Megatron, I require reinforcements and Predaking is otherwise engaged.

Megatron: Understood, just get that part.

Back out on the tundra, Grimlock slams his tail on the ground to try and intimidate Predaking, Predaking simply rises to his hind legs and flares his wings. The two then roar at each other again.

Predaking: *Roars*

Grimlock: *Roars*

Predaking flaps his wings to leap at Grimlock, when he gets close Grimlock simply ducks and steps aside to let Predaking run into an enormous pillar of ice. Grimlock then clamped his jaws on Predaking's right shoulder, draggedn then threw him a fair distance away. Predaking recovered and flew in again and starfed Grimlock across the face with his claws, then uses his front paws to control Grimlock's head. Grimlock wouldn't topple over though and tried his fire breath attack twice before Predaking pulled him in a circle before throwing Grimlock into the Ice pillar. Predaking recovered faster and flew in again and again tried to control Grimlock's head and mouth. Grimlock tried to fire two more fire breath attacks, but Predaking hit Grimlock on the head, making Grimlock stumble backwards, Predaking then performed a tail swipe to make Grimlock fall down. Predaking tried to press his advantage, but Grimlock reacted by swiping his own tail twice across Predaking's face, he then kicks with his left leg, mamking Predaking stumbke and allowing Grimlock to get back on his feet.

Predaking tried another swipe with his claws from the right, but Grimlock simply rammed into his body and lifted his head and charged up his fire breath, Predaking then shoved a chunk of ice down Grimlock's throat, disrupting his attack. The heat melted the ice and Grimlock recovered, front kicked Predaking in the chest, before firing another fire breath, this time, the attack hit Predaking square in the chest. However, Predaking managed to endure the fire and hold his ground until is stopped before he could recover from the recoil, Grimlock tackled Predaking and stomped his left foot onto his chest.

Predaking tried to counter by stabbing Grimlock in his left leg with his claws, and while Grimlock roared in pain, Grimlock retaliated with a tail swipe to Predaking's face sending him several meters back. Grimlock looked at his wound and decided to let his Aura do it's work. He then turned to Predaking and fired prolonged fire breath attack making Predaking dodge it by taking flight.

Grimlock kept right on using his Semblance to try and hit Pradaking while he was airborne, hitting several rocks and even bits of the facility the others were fighting in.

Wheeljack: Whoa!

Bumblebee: *series of beeps*

Slash: Grimlock's on a tear, Bumblebee! We can't stop him!

Optimus: *calls on comms* Ratchet- *camera switches to Autobot base* is Ms. Rose nearby?

Ratchet: Right-

Ruby: I'm here Optimus. How's Grimlock doing?

Optimus: His battle with Predaking is compromising our mission, we need you to calm him down.

Ruby: ...... I-I'll try.

Ratchet opens the Ground-Bridge, Ruby mounts a hover-bike and rides through. The second she does though, she runs smack dab into the middle of the clash of titans. She screams a little as she narrowly avoids Predaking's open jaws, then misses Grimlock's Fire Breath.

Ruby: Grimlock! Sweety, can you hear me?!

Grimlock doesn't seem to hear her and continues firing his breath attack. Eventually, he does hit Predaking in the shoulder and sends him crashing towards the ground.

Grimlock: *menacing chuckle*

Predaking recovers just before he hit the ground and rose into the air quickly. He roared before diving towards Grimlock, who decides to use his Semblance again but when the two leviathans got close they both released their fire breaths at the same time and the collision caused an explosion between the two combatants, sending both flying back away from each other, this also causes Ruby to blown away nearer to the facility.

Predaking is the first to rise to his feet and once again retreats to the skies when he gets a call from Megatron.

Megatron: Predaking, the mission is at risk. Grab Shockwave and get that part back to the ship, now!

Predaking was very reluctant to leave, especially since Grimlock had regained consciousness and was getting back onto his feet. Predaking decided to end this quickly by flying high and surprising Grimlock. Grimlock finally heard a voice in his comm link..

Ruby: Grimlock! I know you can hear me in there! Remember what I told you about your anger, it may be the source of your strength, but don't let it control you. Strong, but steady.

Grimlock looked around and saw the destruction the battle caused and then started sniffing for Predaking. He suddenly saw a shadow on the ground and turned to his opponent, but Predaking landed on Grimlock's back. Grimlock managed to stay on his feet while Predaking started pummeling him and actually bit his neck. Grimlock groaned, but shook violently enough to bring Predaking's left wing within range and clamped his jaws on the wing, hard. Predaking roared in pain which got worse when Grimlock then dragged Predaking across the ground then threw him as hard as he could into the ice cliff. The impact broke Predaking's wing and dislocated his shoulder.

Predaking: *pained roar*

He then saw Grimlock charging at him, and just barely managed to roll out of the way. Grimlock smashed into the side of the cliff face, he then tore his head out with pieces of ice chunks with him. Grimlock then smacked Predaking with his tail, knocking him onto his back. Grimlock then tried to stomp on his chest with his right foot, but Predaking again barely managed to get out of the way. Grimlock the went after him clamping his jaws at Predaking as Predaking tried to get away. Grimlock even grabbed on of his hind legs, but was smacked by Predaking's tail.

Ruby: Grim?

Grimlock then jumped onto Predaking and started actually tearing pieces of armor off Predaking's chest with his mouth. Predaking actually almost started whining in pain as Grimlock stomped his left foot on his chest, hampering his ability to breath fire. Predaking tried to hit Grim's still slightly injured leg, and while Grimlock did groan a bit, he them slammed his foot onto Predaking's chest harder and drove his foot down more. Predaking couldn't get free and stared at Grimlock, who too stared right back at him.

Grimlock: *Growls menacingly*

Predaking had fear in his eyes as he thought this was the end for him.

Ruby: Grim-

Grimlock: ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

Predaking: ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAR!

(A/N): End music here.

The two stopped their screaming match and Grimlock simply snorted, took his foot off Predaking and walked away, leaving him to his fate. Grimlock then roared to the sky as loud as he could, for all to hear.

Grimlock: ROOOOOAAAAAR!

Wheeljack: Hear that?

Swoop: It's Grimlock!

Optimis flies up to take a look outside and sees Grimlock walking towards them, but also sees Predaking struggling back to his feet. But Grimlock didn't bother turning around because Predaking finally collapsed, unable to fight anymore.

Optimus almost told of Grimlock's victory, but he then saw the Decepticon warship appear in the sky.

Optimus: Autobots secure the Synchrotron before the Decepticons arrive! Ratchet! Activate the Ground-Bridge!...... Ratchet?! Bulkhead! Smokescreen! Does anyone copy?!

Back at base, Smokescreen, Bulkhead and Winter are seen just coming to, but there is no sign of Ratchet, or Soundwave.

On the tundra, Grimlock, still in his Dinobot form sees Ruby and approaches her, Ruby knows she doesn't need to fear him and approaches happily. Ruby then glanced behind Grimlock and saw one of the Decepticon Warship's cannons fire upon her and Grimlock.

Ruby: *frightened gasp* Grim!

Grimlock looks behind him and sees the laser blast, reacting he picks up Runy in his mouth just before the cannon fire hit the ground near him. The resulting explosion blasts Grimlock all the way back at the bottom of the ice cliff face, for a few seconds it seems Grimlock is knocked out, but he manages to regain consciousness quickly. He lifted his head but didn't feel Ruby in his mouth, he looked around until he saw her body, she wasn't moving, didn't even look like she was breathing. Grimlock got to his feet quickly and gently nudged his nose against her, but didn't get a reaction.

Grimlock: *whines*

Back on the Decepticon Warship, Megatron watches where he ordered to fire the cannon. He waits for the dust to clear, and sees Grimlock standing without much in tye way of major damage.

Starscream: It lives?!

Megatron: Fire again!

The cannon fires once more and hits Grimlock directly but his sorrow quickly turned rage and didn't even flinch when the cannon shot hit him.

Grimlock: *ROARS* *Fires Semblance*

Grimlock used a shot of his semblance and took out the cannon with one hit, while the ship shook from the force of the impact, Grimlock jumped as hard as he could and managed to land on top of the Decepticon Warship. But seemingly having what they need, the Decepticons leave with Shockwave and their prize in tow.
