3rd Person POV

     After the events with Roman's mech all the boys had to train extra hard for a month, the boys are making strides and Slag has his Semblance under control. He and Grimlock still duel each other often but Grimlock ends up winning all the time but Slag is no slouch, or quitter. Recently, though, Blake has been ignoring everyone and everything and it's really starting to make Sludge depressed and upset. Swoop and Grimlock tried to help by inviting him to training sessions or playing in the courtyard, but they always had their parents watching them and Blake is no where to be seen. Yang has really started to worry about both Sludge and Blake because she's been there before. She decides to try and see the extent of the damage.

Yang: Sludge, how you feeling, sweety?

Sludge: *sniffles* I want Mommy.

Yang: I know. Why don't I try talking to her and you wait for her back in your room.

Sludge: *sniffles* Okay.

     Yang kisses his forhead as Sludge heads to his room. Yang then grows a little cross and asks Slag to sit with Sludge until Blake comes for him. She then goes to the library and sees Blake with bags under her eyes and barely able to stay awake. She uses a laser pointer and shines it on Blake's screen until Blake gets irritated and follows the laser till she's in front of Yang.

Yang: Hello!

Blake: What do you want?

Yang: *cross* We need to talk.

     Yang grabs Blake and forces her into a empty classroom, Blake tries to defend herself but she is so tired that can't do anything.

Yang: Look, I get what you're doing. Believe me, I've been there. But if you don't slow down and take some time for yourself, you're going to get killed before you can see things through.

Blake: I can't stop, not while Roman is working with the White Fang. These people are not going to wait until graduation to challenge us. They are out there right now planning something and I'm the only one who can stop them!

Yang: And what are you going to do if you do find them?!

Blake: I'll stop them!

Yang: You couldn't hurt a fly in your current condition! You are an excellent fighter but this obsession will kill you before you can do anything about it.

Blake: You don't know the White Fang like I do. They are ruthless and more than happy to kill anyone that gets in their way. I have to stop them.

Yang: And you will, just not today. I'm not telling you to stop, just slow down and take a night for yourself.

Blake: I-

Yang: My mother left me with my dad when I was just an infant. I never knew why and my dad was always tight lipped about it. One day I found evidence of her whereabouts from my uncle and without hesitation or thought of the consequences, I loaded up and infant Ruby in a wagon and walked for hours. But I didn't allow myself to stop, but when I got us there, we were set upon by Grimm and I didn't have the strength to fight back or run away. I was certain my sister and I were going to die and it was all my fault because I let my obsession control me. We were saved by my uncle but I vowed to never lose sight of what's improtant and never let any obsesstion control me. Do I still think about and search for my mom? Of course, but I don't let drive me to insanity. You will find a way to beat the White Fang, but this isn't the way.

     Yang gives Blake a hug and reminds her that she doesn't have to stop but she does need to slow down.

Yang: Plus, Sludge is really sad without you around to love him. If you do decide to come to the dance, I'll save you the first dance.

     Yang left and Blake sat there contemplating, when the thought of her son came up, she grew really worried about her neglect of him and returned to the dorm as quickly as her tired legs could carry her. Blake wasn't really paying attention when she bumped into someone and she fell on her butt.

Blake: Sorry, I wasn't- *looks up* watching.

     She has run into team CRDL and she was in no mood or shape to get into an altercation with them. Cardin smirked as he noticed Blake's weakened, tired state and did something, stupid.

Cardin: Well, well, well. Looks like we've got a lonely student in need of attention.

Blake: Not from the likes of lowlifes such as yourselves. Now, I have somewhere I need to be, get out of my way.

Cardin: Or what?

     Blake tries to throw a punch but she is too tired and Cardin blocks her fist, he then backhands Blake across her cheek and she once again falls to the ground. She tries to get up but is grab by her hair and lifted up to her feet.

Cardin: Who wants first dibs? It isn't everyday you find a pretty girl like this.

     Cardin's face gets too close to Blake and she manages to bite him, but instead of letting go of her Cardin hits her in the stomach and tears her shirt a bit. Blake has tears in her eyes thinking this might be it for her, until she hears-

Sludge: STAY AWAY FROM MOMMY!

     Blake turns just in time to see her son bullrush team CRDL and knock them away from her. Blake tries to get up but collapses to the ground, but she does manage to lift her head and see Sludge stand between her and team CRDL.

Blake: Sludge... you need to go dino.

Sludge: Mommy told Sludge not to at school.

Blake: Just this once. Do it.

     Sludge's eyes turn beastial and he transforms into his massive apatosaurus form and roared at team CRDL.

(A/N): Best I could find.

     Blake then watches as Sludge's Aura flashes across his body, she then sensed something powerful building inside him. Cardin finally grew a brain and started running away, but too late Sludge was already rearing up onto his hind legs. Sludge then slams back down on the ground and shakes the earth, the earth then splits and breaks up the surrounding ground. The tremor catches up to team CRDL and causes them to stumble and fall into the chasm along with the entire fight club building. Sludge transformed back into a kid, breathing heavily and collapses to his knees, Blake and him then look at the damage.

Sludge: Uh, oops.

Blake: *starts laughing*

     Sludge helps Blake to her knees while she still laughs at her son's reaction to his Semblance activating. Blake stops laughing and looks at Sludge who now has a depressed look.

Sludge: Mommy still busy?

Blake: Oh baby, I'm so sorry. I was so caught up with trying to stop some bad people that I forgot about me being a parent. *tears start falling* I won't make that mistake again, I promise.

Sludge: *happier* Okey dokey.

      Sludge happily jumps at his mother that she fell on her back because she was so tired. Blake was really happy that her son was so resiliant and forgiving.

Blake: But right now, I think Mommy needs a nap.

Sludge: Okay.

     Sludge surprises Blake by lifting her onto his back, so she could ride piggyback. Sludge walked without stopping or complaint and got back to the dorm and set Blake on her bed. Blake took off her boots and covered herself with the blankets but not before inviting Sludge for a family siesta.

Timeskip Next Day

      Snarl and Swoop were coming back to the dorm room happy that their big brother is happy to have Blake back. When they reach the door, Swoop hears something.

Snarl: What is it?

Swoop: Shh, listen.

      The boys listen and hear what sounds like crying, and it sounds like Weiss. Snarl gets the door open and both boys see Weiss sitting on her bed with tears flowing down her face.

Swoop: Mommy?!

Snarl: Mom!

     Weiss looks up as both boys surprise her with a hug, Weiss wraps her arms around her sons and the family stay like this for several minutes.

Swoop: Why are you sad Mommy?

Weiss: Oh it's nothing important, darling.

Snarl: You know I hate lies right.

Weiss: *sigh* Sorry. There's a dance coming up next week and I had asked someone to go to the dance with me but, he said no and that it was a waste of time. *sniffles*

      The boys sit and hug their mother until she cries herself to sleep, Snarl then slowly pulls himself out of the embrace and walks out of the dorm, pissed.

Swoop: Big brother, what do you think you're doing?

Snarl: I'm going to kill Neptune.

Swoop: Uh, I really must advise against this. We can't just kill him.

Snarl: He hurt our mother and I will not let some punk who thinks he's the hot stuff get away with it.

Swoop: That doesn't sound like Neptune though, maybe we should find out the real reason he turned down Mommy.

Snarl: *deep breaths* Fine, we do it your way, for now. Where can we find him?

Swoop: Well, if I remember right the visiting schools have seperate dorm buildings to ours.

Snarl: Let's start there.

Swoop: Follow me.

     Swoop leads Snarl to the dorm building and the pair find Neptune walking and talking with Sun.

Neptune: I'm glad you guys worked things out.

Sun: All she said was that she would go to the dance with me that doesn't mean she likes me.

Neptune: Well, it does mean she doesn't hate you.

Sun: Good point. What about you? The Ice Queen had her eyes on you.

Neptune: I-I turned her down.

Sun: What?! Why?!

Neptune: You know I can't dance, man.

Sun: Why does that matter?! Ugh, you're missing out!

     Snarl wants so bad to go dino and skewer Neptune for hurting Weiss for such a petty reason, but Swoop calms him down and decide to follow him until they can confront him alone. The pair follow Neptune as he leaves Sun and goes his own way into downtown Vale. Neptune continues walking and the boys follow him, until he turns into an alleyway.

Neptune: I know you've been following me, now, *pulls out his weapon* come out and show yourself.

     Snarl and Swoop show themselves and Neptune lowers his weapon as he recognizes them.

Neptune: Snarl and Swoop, right? Where is your mom at, you shouldn't be out here by yourself. Come on let's get you- OMPH!

     Snarl punches Neptune in the gut and transform into his stegosaurus form and starts chasing Neptune, although he's not very fast. Swoop tries to follow the action and calm his big brother but he feels so helpless. Weiss, meanwhile, was searching for her two sons and checked with Grimlock and Ruby.

Weiss: Have either of you seen Swoop or Snarl?

Grimlock: Nope.

Ruby: Sorry Weiss, I haven't. Hey, did you ask Neptune to the dance, yet?

Weiss: Yes, but that pompous jerk turn down my offer because he thought dancing was lame. I don't know what I saw in him, but he sure had me fooled.

Grimlock: You didn't tell Snarl did you?

Weiss: I mean, I couldn't lie to him. Why?

*CRASH*

Ruby: What was that?!

Weiss: It sounded like it came from the city!

Ruby: Let's go!

     The three make it to downtown and follow the crashing and screaming, until they come to a big dust cloud and a semi demolished building. Weiss squints to peer into the dust as Swoop is the first to run out.

Weiss: Swoop?!

Swoop: Mommy!

     Swoop jumped into Weiss' arms and she asked what happened.

Swoop: It's Snarl, he's going nuts!

     Neptune suddenly dives out of the building and shoots his weapon a couple times and runs unknowingly towards Weiss and Ruby. When he does see them, he yells to them.

Neptune: Saveme!Saveme!Saveme!

Weiss: What are you-

*CRASH*

     Snarl's stegosuarus form comes out of the building and sees Neptune running and roars at him before charging.

(A/N): The sound from 0:06 to 0:23 is what Snarl's roar sounds like.

Neptune hides behind Weiss, but Snarl keeps coming. Weiss has to do something, suddenly Grimlock's T-rex form comes from seemingly nowhere and uses his head like a battering ram to knock Snarl off course.

Ruby: Grimlock!

     Snarl turns to his brother and roars at him before swinging his spiked tail, Grimlock ducks under and tries to pin Snarl. However, Snarl's lower center of gravity keeps him steady, Snarl shakes violently trying to get Grimlock off of him. Snarl then connects a hit against Grimlock's hip, Grimlock is forced to let go and stumbles back wards in slight pain. Snarl's Aura suddenly flashes across his body and then focuses on his tail, Snarl lifts his tail and fires Aura infused arrows from his tail spikes like a rapid fire machine gun.

All the arrows hit Grimlock and take out his Aura, Grimlock then collapses to the ground.

Ruby: Grimlock!

     Snarl roars and start spinning around and kicking and swinging his tail like a raging bull.

Swoop: He's really mad now!

     Swoop, as if on instinct, transforms and flies into the air and his Aura flashes across his body. As Swoop flies towards Snarl, he manages to create multiple copies of himself and divebombs Snarl. Snarl saw his brother coming and swings his tail and destroys the clones and knocks down his brother and Swoop skids across the ground towards his mother.

Neptune: Weiss, he's gonna kill someone!

Weiss: No, he won't.

     Weiss walks closer to Snarl and calls him out.

Weiss: Snarl Schnee, you listen to me right now, young man!

     The giant dinosaur stops bucking around and looks at Weiss, she is not mad but she isn't happy either, she is sad.

Weiss: Please, Snarl?! Stop this! I know what Neptune did was mean but we can't hurt him. Please sweety, calm down and we'll figure this out, I promise.

     Snarl stares at Weiss and starts to calm down as she walks closer to him, she reaches out her hand and touches Snarl's snout. Snarl then transforms back into a kid as Weiss wraps her arms around him in a hug.

Snarl: *cries* I'm sorry, Mom.

Weiss: Shh, it's okay. We're okay.

Snarl: But Neptune hurt your feelings, I couldn't let him get away with it!

Weiss: Shh, shh. It doesn't matter because all I really need to be happy are you and your brother. I love you both, so very much.

Snarl: *gasps* Swoop, is he okay?!

Swoop: *groggily* Yup, I'm good.

     Snarl apologizes to everyone for losing his cool, he also, begrudgingly, apologized to Neptune for attacking him. Weiss then slapped Neptune for his denial of her invite to the dance, then she took her children back to the dorm.

Swoop: So, do you plan on going to the dance without a partner?

Weiss: No. I would like it if both of you went with me instead.

Snarl: Really?!

Weiss: Yes, would you both like to be my dancing partners?

Swoop: Yes!

Snarl: I'm in.

     Weiss gives both her boys a kiss on their cheeks and takes their measurments for their tuxedoes, but that's for next time.
