3rd Person POV

Slash: What?!

Snarl: How?!

Robyn and Sludge have just informed the other Dinobots that Slag, Yang and Blake have been captured. Robyn goes into detail about what happened.

Robyn: ..... When the rest of the bullheads arrived, Blake grabbed me and told me to take Sludge and run.

Grimlock: *angry* RAHH! *punches wall* Grimlock will kill them all!

Robyn: As much as I want to agree with you, you can't just go stomping around tearing the entire city apart.

Ratchet: All of our spilled Energon to protect you and the rest of humanity and this is the thanks we get?!

Robyn: I agree, it was cruel and wrong, but until you find whoever's responsible, you can't spook them by tearing the city apart, otherwise your friends may be lost forever.

Ratchet: Thank you, we'll take it from here.

Robyn: You're booting me?! I said I was going to help!

Grimlock: Tin Man have cameras, you can't be seen. Now get lost!

Ratchet opens the Groumd Bridge back to her hideout and Robyn sighs before walking through. The door opens and Team JNPR and RW walk in, the humans see the distraught and angry looks on their Dinobot's faces.

Weiss: Hey, what's the matter?

Snarl: Slag, Yang and Blake have been captured!

Ruby: What?! Why?!

Swoop: I don't know!

Slash: Sludge just told us.

Ruby whooshes down to Sludge and pulls the big, sad, scared kid into a hug as Sludge finally cries.

Ruby: Shh, shh, everything is going to be alright, I promise.

Jaune: The timing of this is weird.

Ratchet: Weird how?

Weiss: My father invited the General to a dinner where he'll be defending his seat on the council.

Ratchet: He's moving fast.

Grimlock: Grimlock, not understand.

Pyrrha: The trial, the kidnapping..... There's too many coicidences.

Jaune: I still can't believe Jacques won, Robyn was supposed to be the hero of Mantle.

Weiss: Something isn't right. It doesn't add up.

Pyrrha: Do you think your father might be in league with Salem?

Weiss: ..... I think my father would do whatever it takes to win.

Ruby: Then maybe we should do the same.

Weiss: What do you mean?

Ruby: Out of all of us, you're the only one that can snoop around without being seen. If Jacques Schnee is hiding something, I think we have a right to know what it is.

Grimlock: That still doesn't help us find Slag!

Ratchet: No, but this might. *shows lockbox*

Nora: What is that?

Ratchet: A spy Grimlock took prisoner the night of the election right here inside the base. I didn't even know he was here.

Grimlock: Open it.

Ratchet does so and-

????: Ahhh! I'm gonna kill all yoi pathetic meatbags!

Grimlock: *ROOAAR*

????: *screams in terror* Okay, I'll stop talking.

Ratchet: We don't have time, were you sent here by humans or Decepticons?

????: How do you know that?

Grimlock: Slag just kidnapped by humans!

????: Okay, okay, okay. First off, names Wheelie, I'll stop calling you names if you call me that. Second, after Megatron was defeated some of us Decepticons that were stranded here got picked up by some humans. I think they called themselves MECH or something stupid.

Ratchet: *concerned* By the All Spark!

Grimlock: Doc?

Weiss: You know these fools?

Ratchet: The Autobots had many dealings with them over the years, a group of human terrorists that were only getting their hands on the most groundbreaking technology. They found out about us and captuered some us many times and even managed to frame Optimus with duplicate knock off.

Grimlock: Where are they?

Wheelie: I don't know exactly, they would always cover me up before taking me into the base.

Ratchet: Hmm, that gives me an idea.

The camera tansitions into the secret base of MECH, where Blake came to inside a cell made of plexy glass.

Blake: Huh? Whe-Where ame I? Yang? Slag?

Scientist: Ah good, you're awake.

Blake: Who are you? Why have you brought us here?

Scientist: Who we are is of little concern for you, but you are here to ensure peace and compliance.

Blake: What did you do with my friends?

Yang: Blake?

Blake looks and sees Yang in a seperate cell just coming to.

Blake: Yang, are you okay?

Yang: *groans* *remembers* Slag! Slag, where are you, baby! Slag!

Scientist: *chuckles* Not to worry. He's closer than you think.

The scientist flips a switch and a big light turns on. The two Huntresses look and see Slag being tested on with unknown tests and ice dust keeping him in place.

Yang: Slag!

Blake: Slag, are you okay?!

Slag can barely move his eye to look at Yang, when-

Slag: *electrocuted* *mechanical whine*

Scientist: An even greater breathrough since Project Nemisis Prime. A human crossed with alien robots, a miracle of science. We thank you in advance for your generous contribution.

Blake: Why? Why do this to a child?

Scientist: Simple. To create a brand new world where humanity has an army of transforming robot/human hybrids. No one will stand against MECH.

Yang: Oh yeah? Wanna bet?

Yang goes to punch her cell walls but is electrocuted upon contact and is knocked on her rear.

Scientist: I do hope you find your permanent accomodations comfortable. Now, I have so experiments to run, you're free to watch of course. *laughs menacingly*

The door closes and Blake sits down, and deep down is thankful Sludge isn't her with her, she desperately wants to touch Yang and try to support her.

Blake: I'm so sorry, Yang. I'm so sorry.

Yang: Maybe, if we hadn't tried to stop Robyn then-

Blake: No, she needed to know some of what's going on in Atlas, and we paid the price, but the rest of the Dinobots will get us out of here. I'm sure of it.

Yang: I know.

Timeskip Next Night

Unfortunately for the Dinobots, Grimlock was asked to attend, but Ratchet volunteered to go instead so Grimlock doesn't lose his temper. So that means Pietro and Maria were asked to monitor the Dinobot's rescue mission.

On the way to the Schnee estate, Wheelie was dropped off and he drives to his pick-up coordinates provided by MECH, the Dinobots wait at the Autobot base for the green light. RW, JNPR, Oscar, Qrow, the Ace Ops, Winter and Ironwood all drive up to the Schnee estate and step out of their vehicles.

Ironwood: Ratchet, meet over on the west wall, the dining room is just through the window.

Ratchet drives past everyone towards the destination.

Ironwood: I suppose we should smile for the cameras.

Winter: With all due respect, Sir, you'd have to pay me.

Pyrrha: *places hand on Ruby's shoulder* Hey, it'll work. They'll get our family back.

Ruby: *exhale* I know. *recomposes* Let's do this.

The whole group of humans walk up to the front door, Ironwood knocks and, once again, Whitely is there to greet them.

Whitely: General, a pleasure. Sister, and where are my precious nephews?

Weiss: Decided to keep them as far from father as possible, for their safety.

Whitely: General, just how large do you think our dining room table is?

Ironwood: I happen to know it's enormous, but the rest are here in case the council needs additional eye witnesses. In the meantime, I'm sure they'll be happily celebrating your father's victory.

Whitely scoffs before leading everyone inside, then Ironwood, Penny, Winter, and Clover to the dining room, where Jacques, Slate and Camilla, as well as Robyn Hill are waiting.

Jacques: General Ironwood. Please, have a seat.

Ironwood nods to the others and they all take a seat at the table.

Jacques: I did invite the leader of our alien so called allies.

Heavy footsteps are heard before Ratchet comes into view through the window, Ironwood opens said window.

Ratchet: While I may not be the leader of our race here on Remnant, it is far better for you to deal with me than with our leader, Grimlock.

Jacques: And what makes you any less dangerous than him or any of the other monstrosities.

Ratchet: Because Grimlock is not as stupid as you think him to be, he knew you would try and manipulate us into making a mistake and leave our home.

Back with Wheelie, he is picked up by undercover agents, put in a cage and covered so he can't see where he is, Wheelie transforms and activates his tracking beacon Ratchet gave him. Back at the Autobot base...

Pietro: Alright, we have the tracking signal. Wheelie is on the move.

Grimlock: Don't worry, Slag. We're coming.

Back at the manor, Weiss is trying to get to her father's office, but Whitely is blocking her by conversing with her.

Pyrrha: We have to do something.

Jaune: *thinks* What was that about breaking things?

Nora: *giggles excitedly*

Ren: Got it.

Ren and Nora both grab a platter, Nora stacked hers high with food while Ren walked with a single fancy food item on his. The two wander around until Ren bumps Nora and she starts pretending she's lost her balance.

Nora: Oh no! I'm gonna drop this!

Nora then tips the pile of food towards Whitely, but a portly woman gets in the way and is covered with food, thankfully her reaction caused her to splash Whitely with her wine. Weiss stands there shocked with her hands over her mouth.

Whitely: If you'll excuse me, I need to change.

Whitely walks away as Ruby tries desoerately to hold her laughter and Weiss goes to her father's office. She walks in and locks the door behind her...

Willow: Hello, Weiss.

Weiss turns around surprised to see her mother standing there with a wine bottle in hand.

Elsewhere, the MECH agents drive into an old warehouse in a ruined part of Mantle.

Pietro: It looks like they're stopping somewhere.

Snarl: Come on, let's go!

Grimlock: Not yet. We need to know Slag is there.

Wheelie is uncovered and carried in his cage through the security doors and then through the underground facility where MECH is in the process of creating testing areas and collecting test subjects for their new project. Wheelie discreetly activated his camera built into his eye and transmits footage to the Bots.

Pietro: Alright, we've got the footage. Ready whenever you are.

Grimlock: Dinobots! Transform!

All the Bots transform into their Dinobot forms and Pietro opens a Ground Bridge near the warehouse.

Inside the warehouse Wheelie is out in a cate with another Mini-con.

Wheelie: Yo, Brains. You okay?

Brains: Been better.

Wheelie looks around until he spots Yang and Blake in their cells in the distance.

Pietro: Be advised, Grimlock, we just saw Blake and Yang, so Slag should be close by as well.

Grimlock: Dinobots! Attack!

Sludge smashes throught the front of the warehouse, the rest of the Dinobots run through the facility. Swoop flies into the main lab and fires his rockets at the robot chassis' that MECH were making.

Swoop: *Screeches*

Slash: Science fair's over!

Grimlock: Destroy everything!

The Dinobots start doing just that.

Wheelie: Yo, Grimlock! Let us out!

Grimlock sees the small cage and approaches...

Grimlock: Who that?

Wheelie: Brains, he actually used to work for the Autobots, but we just want to be free again, please free us!

Grimlock reaches and wraps his hand around the glass case and squeezes enough to break the glass, the two Mini-Cons jump into Grimlock's open hand, he then lifts them up and places them on Snarl's neck.

Grimlock: Stay if you want to live.

Brains: Will do.

Scientist: Stop!

Grimlock turns around and sees an army of MECH agents with all weapons aimed at him.

Grimlock: You make big mistake.

Scientist: That is MECH property!

Grimlock: They not your property! They are my family!

Scientist: Don't you get it yet? I broke your genome, because if I don't someone else will, because you cannot stop technology.

Grimlock: We are not your technology!

Grimlock had had enough and transformed into his Dinobot mode.

Grimlock: *ROAR*

Blake and Yang heard the roar and start to become hopeful.

Yang: Grimlock?!

Blake: We're over here!

Grimlock: YOU BURN!

Grimlock then breathed a stream of fire that engulfs all the MECH agents, killing them all upon contact.

Swoop: Sludge, over here!

Sludge runs over as Grimlock rampages through the facility, and sees-

Blake: Sludge!

Sludge: Mommy!

Sludge rushes over and smashes both Blake's and Yang's prison cells.

Yang: Slag!

Yang runs over to Slag and turns of the machine he's strapped to and Sludge free's him from his shackles, but Slag still doesn't move.

Yang: Slag! Slag? Slag, wake up. It's Mom. Please, wake up. *sniffles*

Slag: *groans* *muffled speech*

Yang: What? I can't hear you.

Slag: Get off my nose.

Yang looks down and realizes she is standing on Slag's nostrils, so she steps off and lets him breath.

Yang: Oh, thank god, you're okay! *breaks down* My brave, strong boy.

Sludge: We need to go!

Blake: Right. Yang?

Yang: *sniffles and wipes away tears* Can you walk?

Slag: I think so.

Slag get's to his feet and manages to stabilize himself, but the freezing did take a toll, Slag is slow to get moving.

Slash: Grim! We've got Slag!

Grimlock stops his rampage and looks at Slag and the others and manages to calm down and transform back into his robot mode.

Grimlock: Dinobots, we're done here.

Grimlock leads everyone outside and radios to the Autobot base.

Grimlock: Rescue mission is a success.

Pietro: Well done, young ones.

Yang: Hey, Grim?

Grimlock looks at Yang and Blake.

Yang: Thank you, for getting us out of there.

Grimlock: Family first.

Back in the Jacques Schnee's office, Willow gave Weiss access to a secret set of cameras that she had placed without Jacques knowledge and the video she's looking at is of Jacques meeting qwith Tyrian and an unknown man.

Willow: Weiss, please don't forget about your brother.

Weiss: Whitely wants nothing to do with me.

Willow: Of course not, you left him here, with us.

Weiss thinks about Whitley must've felt and could only compare his feelings to Snarl and Swoop's first encounter with her, they also wanted nothing to do with her because everyone else they ever knew only hurt them. She felt she was no better than her father in this respect, but for now she looks vack at the video.

Weiss: Who are you? *presses play*
