Grimlock POV

With Arcee and Jack in tow, the group pulls into the front gates of Argus, we get rid of the trailer and Yang pays for her bike storage when-

Nora: Cute! Boy! OZ! *points at group*

Oscar looks in confusion only to be tackled by Nora into a hug.

Nora: Oh, come here!

Ren, Jaune and Pyrrha finally show up.

Ren: Are you all okay?! *hugs Yang*

Jaune: We've been worried about you. *hugs Blake*

Pyrrha: It was nerve racking at times, not knowing where you were. *hugs Weiss*

Yang: It's been kinda a crazy trip.

Weiss: That's an understatement.

Nora: *notices Maria* Wait, who is the old lady? *notices Jack* And the kid?

Jack: Kid? I'm 16, and the names Jack.

Sludge: Why Two-Wheel no transform?

Arcee: *whispers* I'm supposed to be hiding so that's why I'm a motorcycle. Robots in Disguise. I'm not worried about your family it's everyone else around us and the Decepticons that I'm hiding from.

Sludge: Oh.

Slam: *excited grunt*

Grimlock: Slam! Good to see you- Whoa!

Grimlock suddenly pulled into hug by Slash.

Slash: So happy you're back, big brother!

Grimlock: *returns hug* Told ya.

Slam and Slash reunite with the other Dinobots.

Blake: I'm so glad you're all safe.

Weiss: Seriously...

Nora: Ah, you guys are going to love this place.

Later on, the whole group is seen travelling through the city on a trolley.

Yang: It's a lot bigger than I thought it'd be.

Ren: Argus is actually one of the largest non-capital cities in all of Remnant.

Ruby: *gasp* No way! But wait, wouldn't it be harder to settle something this big away from the main kingdom?

Jaune: Well, it was, until Mantle showed up. Early settlement attempts by Mistral didn't go well. But colonists from Mantle were able to help them brave the cold climate and return for goods Solitas couldn't provide.

Ren: Two nations worked together to create a hybrid city. While it falls in Mistral's domain, Atlas does keep a military presence to help keep the people safe and keep trade between the two nations steady.

Nora: Well, until recently.....

Grimlock: Meaning?

Pyrrha: Since The Fall of Beacon, Atlas called back all it's military to Atlas and closed it's borders. No one gets in and no one gets out.

Weiss: It was hard enough for me to smuggle myself out of Atlas.

Blake: First thing we should do is find a ship who's willing to smuggle all of us and our two new friends.

Jack: Thanks. We'll help in any way we can.

Everyone disembarks from the trolley.

Oscar: Where have you guys been staying?

Jaune: Well, uh....

Saphron: There you are!

As the trolley leaves, a blond woman, Saphron Cotta-Arc, with her baby on her hip, Adrian, are seen on the other side of the street waving to Jaune.

Yang: Is that...?

Jaune: Hey, Saph. *smiles and waves back*

Ruby zooms in and looks back and forth at the two until she figures out who this woman is. Jaune manages to quell the questions until we all reach Saphron's house, Sludge and I help Jack get Arcee to the fenced in backyard so she could stretch her legs because she doesn't have a human form. Jack went inside first because he was hungry but Dinobots had questions.

Grimlock: Why you have no human form?

Arcee: *transforms into robot mode* Hmm, why don't you tell me how you got your robot forms and I'll fill in the blanks.

So Dinobots slowly open up about how they got their powers and transformations, Arcee then thought for a moment before answering.

Arcee: Well, Shockwave, as you probably already know, is a crackpot scientist. He's responsible for plenty of headaches for the Autobots. As for what I am, I am a Autonomus Robotic Organism from the planet Cybertron, also known as an Autobot. *sees kids confusion* Uhm, Alien robot.

Dinokids: Oh.

Arcee: Anyways, the Autobots and Decepticons have been at war for several centuries, until our homeworld, Cybertron, was no longer able to support life, so both sides escaped and now are scattered across the stars.

Swoop: So, what brought you here to Remnant?

Arcee: I am here under the command of Optimus Prime to protect humanity from the Decepticons. They seek to destroy all life on Remnant to make this planet their new home. Autobots seek to coexist peacefully with humans.

Slash: So, that's why Shockwave is working with Salem.

Arcee: Salem?

Grimlock: She control Grimm on Remnant. She also wants humans destruction.

Arcee: *groans* The enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of deal. Great.

Ruby: It's not gonna be easy, but I think we can still win.

Grimlock: Oh hey, Mom.

Ruby: Lunch is ready. Come eat.

3rd Person POV

The Dinobots head inside, Ruby though remains with Arcee.

Ruby: I'm sorry that you lost your home.

Arcee: *chuckles* Thanks. It's not often I feel I can trust other humans outside of Jack. He and I met when Decepticons had found me and tried to kill me, I've been his bodygaurd/partner ever since.

Ruby: Well, I don't know how much it's worth, but you can trust us too. The Dinobots may be, uh, reckless and eager to fight, but they do have good intentions.

Arcee: I got that impression.

Ruby: What are you headed to Atlas for?

Arcee: The Autobots had a secret outpost there, the Decepticons found it though.

Flashback A few days earlier

Megatron: Why rule only one world, when I can rule two.

Optimus: Ragh! *destroys Omega Lock*

Back on Remnant.

Optimus: Megatron has completed the first phase of his Cyberforming of Remnant. The construction of his fortress.

Winter: In Solitas? I don't get it. Why here?

Bumblebee: *beeps*

Optimus: Because the Decepticons have discovered the location of our base.

Starscream: Come my armada! Attack!

Optimus: The base is lost. We must disperse to avoid capture.

Winter: Lieutenant Winter Schnee, to Air Defense Command, I need immediate combat support!

The Decepticon Warship, Nemisis, uses a massive laser on it's underbelly to destroy the entire base, with Optimus staying behind to destroy the Ground-bridge.

Flashback End

Ruby: Oh, Arcee, I'm sorry.

Arcee: Thought we were finally making headway in turning this war around, but now I'm not sure how long we can keep this up.

Ruby: Well, the second we get this artifact to General Ironwood, we'll find a way to help even the odds against the Cons. Huntress's promise.

Arcee: *small smile* Thanks.

Ruby reassuringly taps Arcee's leg before heading back inside. She sees the Dinokids all resting from eating lunch, but little Adrian is too busy climbing on Grimlock.

Grimlock: Please get kid off Grimlock before me eat him.

Ruby: Easy Grim, he just wants to play with you.

Grimlock: Off.

Saphron: Oh, alright. Fun while it lasted. *grabs Adrian* So, what's your plan from here?

Ruby: Well, we need to get to Atlas. We'll probably start at the Military base.

Nora and Ren share concerned looks.

Pyrrha: Well, we kinda already tried that, and it.....

Jaune: Didn't go great.

Yang: Come on, it can't be that bad.

The next day, the adults all go to the military base but the gate slams closed before they can even enter.

Elsewhere in Remnant

A Decepticon Drone is flying over a highway near Mistral scanning for any resemblance to the Autobots.

Drone: Scanning... *scans car* Scanning... *scans semi-truck* Scanning... *scans muscle car* Negative, no signs of Autobots.

The Decepticon Drone flies off, however the muscle car it scanned earlier peeled off the highway and hid behind a stand of trees. Soon as it came to a stop, a 12 year old boy takes a look around before hopping out.

Rafael: Clear.

The muscle car transforms into a medium sized Autobot, Bumblebee.

Bumblebee takes a look to make sure the Decepticon is gone before turning to Rafael.

Bumblebee: *series of beeps*

Rafael: Too close, but your new paint job did the trick.

Bumblebee: *beeps*

Rafael: The bases comm link is still down. Bee, I realize Optimus sent us all to different locations to make it harder for the Cons to find us. But if we don't know where anyone else is, how are we going to find them?

Bumblebee: *series of beeps*

Rafael: Right. Just keep heading towards Mantle, and Megatron's giant fortress.

Elsewhere, in Vale, on a mountain road, a huge Autobot, Bulkhead,-

- is waiting with another human, named Miko.

Miko: I don't think he's coming. *saddened sigh*

Bulkhead: Don't worry Miko. Every Wrecker knows the protocol. Wheeljack will show, if he's still kicking.

Speaking of Wheeljack,

Wheeljack: *groans* Don't stop now. I was just beginning to enjoy myself.

Wheeljack is currently a prisoner of the Decepticons because he and his ship were shot down during the bases destruction, and is now being interrogated by Starscream, First Lieutenant to Megatron.

Starscream: *growls* Believe me, Wheeljack, there is more where that came from. And you will tell me the location of hour compatriots.

Starscream uses a electric prod and scrapes it across Wheeljack's chestplate.

Starscream: No matter what it takes. Or how long.

Wheeljack: Like I told ya: they weren't expecting me. They didn't bother to fill me in. So go ahead, knock yourself out.

Back at the top of the Fortress, Megatron calls Darkmount, Megatron has summoned Knock-Out.

Knock-Out: How may I serve you, Lord Megatron? *kneels*

Megatron: Assemble a team and disembark for Cybertron immediately. While hunting Autobots remains paramount, we must not squander the opportunity to recover any Iacon Relics left behind in the chaos. For all we know, Optimus Prime is out there somewhere planning to do the same.

And finally, somewhere deep underground, Optimus Prime himself is badly wounded and fades in and out of consciousness, thankfully Smokescreen, the newest recruit of the Autobots, went back to base through his Groundbridge portal just after the Cons blasted the base to smitherin's and pulled a unconscious Optimus to safety before the Decepticons could find them in the rubble.

The team is scattered all across the planet and the Decepticons have gained an advantage over the Autobots, how will our heroes change things? Find out as the journey continues...
