Grimlock POV

Grimlock with Cinder, Moustache Man, Peg Legs, and Green Thief, approaching bandit camp, and gates are closed.

Cinder: Grimlock, open the gates, gently.

Grimlock charge gates in Dino-mode and break down the gates, while bandits point their weapons at me, one bandit calls them off as the puny humans walk in behind me, Grimlock about to light camp up, but-

Watts: No. *activates device*

Grimlock: *groans as he is electrocuted*

After Grimlock's pain goes away and straightens up, lead bandit walks out and talks to Cinder.

????: I don't recall inviting so many guests into our home. Either I'm losing my memory, *raises voice* or you've all lost your spines.

Grimlock: *growls loudly*

Cinder: *cocky chuckle* Don't blame them, they simply recognize the power that lay before them. *shows a little bit of her power*

????: Prepare the gear and load the wagons, we're leaving.

Grimlock didn't much care for conversation of useless humans, as Grimlock stand there not caring, images flash in head of human with black hair with red tips and silver eyes. Why girl familiar?

3rd Person POV

Back in Mistral, Ruby is up early one morning watching the sunrise, like she used to do with Grimlock.

Yang: You're up early.

Ruby: Hey, Yang.

Yang: Boop.

Yang let's her hair dangle and brush against Ruby's face. Ruby affectionately giggles, then Yang sits down next to her.

Ruby: *sighs* What're you doing up?

Yang: Couldn't fall back to sleep, at least not as quickly as Slag did.

Ruby: Nah, me neither.

Weiss: Well fortunately, coffee exists.

Weiss shows up behind the two with a tray with three mugs of coffee. She approaches and leans down so Yang can grab a mug.

Ruby: No, please!

Weiss: Don't worry, I put in blasphemous amounts of sugar just for you.

Ruby: *reaches up* Yay, nice Weiss strikes again.

Weiss: *lifts mug away* I will pour this on you, and it will hurt.

Ruby: *takes cup*

Yang: I still can't believe we're here in Mistral.

Ruby: That's what you can't believe?

Yang: Well, yeah. And all the magic and other stuff. But.... Okay, you know what I mean.

Weiss: I honestly wasn't sure I'd ever see you or our kids ever again.

Yang: Well, here's to defying expectations. *raises mug*

Weiss and Yang clink their mugs together before drinking from them, Ruby then sighs and says.

Ruby: I just wish Blake were here with us.

Yang: Well, she made her choice.

Weiss: What's that supposed to mean?

Yang: *showing bitterness* I mean, she could've been here if she just stuck around. It's no big deal though. We'll be fine.

Ruby and Weiss have concerned expressions on their faces.

Ruby: Are you still mad at her?

Yang: *scoffs* Oh, whatever gave you that idea, Ruby? No, I'm totally fine. I'm great.

Weiss: Okay, calm down.

Yang: *eyes turn red* Don't tell me to calm down!

Both Ruby and Weiss are shocked.

Ruby: Whoa, Yang.

Yang realizes what she did and her eyes return to normal. Her hand shakes while holding her mug.

Yang: Whatever. *stands and walks back inside*

Blake POV

Blake is standing on the edge of the balcony of her family home.

Sun: Hey, Blake! You ready?

Blake: Coming!

Before she turned to go inside, Blake feels something under the railing that shouldn't be there. She pulls it out and sees it's a folded letter, she reads it and grows a determined expression.

Sun: *appears in doorway* We recruiting tonight? We've got the entire nocturnal section to do.

Blake remains silent, still having a concerned expression on her face. Sun notices.

Sun: You okay?

Blake: *recomposes* Yes, I'll meet you out there. I need to take care of something first.

As she walks back inside, she hears a quiet rustling in the bushes behind her.

3rd Person POV

Back in Mistral, Yang is alone in her room while the remaining Dinobots play outside. She is looking at the family photo of Team RWBY and the Dinokids. She hears a knock on the door and puts the picture away.

Yang: Yeah.

She doesn't look up as the door opens.

Yang: Look Ruby, I really don't want to talk about it. Can you just leave me alone.

Yang looks up and see's Weiss closing the door behind her.

Yang: Oh. Hey, Weiss. Did you need something?

Weiss doesn't say anything but sits on the bed opposite Yang.

Yang: I know she's our teammate, but I'm not going to change my mind. I'm sorry, but I don't think you know what it's like to be left. You have a giant family, recitals to perform at, dinners to attend. I didn't have any of that. My mom left. Ruby's mom left too. Tai was always busy with school and Ruby couldn't even talk yet. I had to pick up the pieces. I had to keep things together, alone. *pause* Weiss, if you have something to say then say it.

Weiss waits a moment before responding.

Weiss: When I was 10, my dad finally admitted to my mom that the only reason he married her was for the family name. *sigh* It was actually on my birthday. He missed the big dinner, she got mad, he finally snapped. I think she already knew. Looking back, I think I knew too. But hearing him say finally pushed her over the edge.

Weiss gets up and sits next to Yang.

Weiss: First it was separate lunches and dinners, opposite balconies at my recitals, a glass of wine here, a glass of wine there. Then, it was no recitals, no dinners, a bottle of wine here and... well, you get the idea.

Yang: I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have assumed.

Weiss: You're right though. I don't know loneliness like you do. I have my own version. And, I'm sure Blake has her own version as well.

Yang: She didn't have to be alone. I was here for her. We all were! She chose to leave us.

Weiss: Why do you think she did that?

Yang: Hm?

Weiss: The entire time she was at Beacon, she was afraid to open up to people. Even Sludge didn't know everything about her. She tried to keep her past separated from us. She tried to protect us. Eventually, those walls she put up came down. And the moment they did, the one thing she feared actually happened. The universe proved her right.

Yang: No one blamed her for anything. If she just talked to us she would've known that. How could I be there for her if she won't let me? What if I needed her here for me?

Yang puts her face into her hands and starts sobbing quietly. Weiss puts a hand on her shoulder.

Weiss: I know it's not easy. I wish she hadn't left too. The only thing we can do is be there for her when she does return.

Yang: *shows her face* If she ever comes back.

Weiss: She will. Yang.... You, Ruby, Blake, and especially the children, are more like family than even my own mother and father. I would do anything for you, and I know Blake feels the same way. So, when she's ready, I'll be there for her. And, I know you and I aren't as close, but I'm here for you too.

Weiss smiles and Yang calms down. Suddenly, they hear a crash from outside.

Yang: Might be the kids just rough housing.

Weiss: *giggles* -

Qrow: *rushes into the door* Something's wrong with the kids. Hurry!

Weiss and Yang run outside and see Nora and Pyrrha keeping Slash, Slam, Sludge and Swoop at bay, while out on the field there is a dust cloud, when Ruby joins Weiss and Yang on the edge of the field, Slag's kid form is thrown from the dust cloud and hits the tree hard, but surprisingly recovers.

Yang: Slag! What-

The sound of mechanical parts moving is then heard from the dust, when the cloud dissappates there is a huge humanoid robot standing there. This shocks everyone.

Jaune: What the heck is that thing?!

Slag: Now the resentment has finally come out, huh, Snarl?!

Slag then transforms into his robot mode.

Weiss: Snarl! What's gotten into you?!

The two robots each throw a punch at each other causing sparks to fly off their bodies. Both punches though land on each others faces and the two stumble backwards. The two robots transform into their Dino-modes and circle each other.

Yang: Weiss, we have to stop this before they hurt themselves!

Weiss: Right. How?

Yang watches and sees Slag getting ready to charge head first, she rushes in and puts herself between the two Dinobots facing Slag.

Yang: Slag, stop this right now, young man!

Snarl gets ready to swing his tail, until Weiss stands infront of him with her arms wide open to protect Yang and Slag.

Weiss: Snarl Schnee! You put that dino-mode away right now!

Snarl does stop but he doesn't transform back just yet.

Snarl: We could've saved Grimlock!

Slag: And risked all of us being recaptured and never seeing our moms again?! Grimlock clearly didn't want that!

Snarl: You were just scared of going back!

Slag: Yes! I was scared! And Grimlock knew it.

Weiss: Snarl, let's power down for a bit and talk about this.

Snarl and Slag do calm down a bit and transform into their kid forms, Snarl then starts crying, Weiss responds by wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tight. Yang walks up to Slag and kneels down, he looks at her and ends up breaking down too and runs into his mother's loving arms.

Snarl: *through heavy tears* We could've saved him.

Weiss: I miss him too, but he would be glad you are here, safe and ready to get him back when the time comes.

Slag: *crying*

Yang: It's alright. Grimlock would be proud you brought everyone here, safely.

Slag: I was so scared of that place, I didn't want to go back.

Yang: Shh. You're here now and this time you've got us on your side again.

The mother-child pairs continue to hug each other for several minutes. Ruby wipes away a tear while watching everyone caring for their families, she then excuses herself and heads to the room she was staying in and starts crying to herself again.

Ruby: Oh, my Grimlock. I'm sorry, for everything. I will find you, even if it's the last thing I do.

Sludge then walks in gives Ruby a hug, clearly he misses his own family too, but at least everyone else will take of them both until they're families are whole again.

(A/N): *sniffles* Aw man, the camera caught that. *recomposes himself* Well, uh, next the climax starts. Oh, if your wondering what happened to Blake's arc, if you've seen the show then you should already know what happens to her, so sorry for not adding more.
