Alma begrudgingly ate what she presumed was soup, it had no taste whatsoever. It honestly didn't have that much more of consistency than the porridge. It was gross. How were they all meant to survive on this stuff? It seriously confused her how so much money could be thrown at this mission, yet the food was totally scrimped on. Regardless, she drunk the water quickly, she was hoping that it would rid her mouth of the taste of bland, disgusting soup. It didn't. It really didn't do the job, she put the glass on the bedside table and then picked up the tray and moved back over to the table.
David simply looked away from the holoscreen in front of him and watched her basically drop the tray down with a frown. She turned and crossed her arms and looked at him with a frown before a smile slowly appeared on her face. David shifted and sat up more as she made her way slowly over. She sat down on the edge of the bed and put her hands together at her chest. "Popcorn?"
"Well, I don't know..." he trailed off turning suddenly serious. He looked at her firmly while she slowly pouted and climbed over his legs to get back to her original seat. She knelt by his side and looked at him pleadingly.
"Are you still mad?" Though he was talking to her, he hadn't exactly gone out of his way to strike up any conversations. And this was from someone who didn't stop talking. She figured he was still irked that she inadvertently called him a system. She was sorry, she sighed and shuffled a little closer to him. Alma mused actions spoke louder than words.
So, she reached up and ran a hand through his hair, David turned his head and looked at her. The holoscreen no longer held any interest. She leaned forwards and went to kiss him on the cheek. David however turned his face and caught her lips with his own. Alma shifted her legs underneath herself and placed her hands against his chest. They slowly crept up and rested against his neck, straightening out her fingers she managed trace his jaw.
David, feeling implored by her reactions, reached up and threaded his hand into her hair and pulled her close. She shifted and unfurled her legs from underneath herself and wrapped her arms around his neck. David leaned more into her, and this caused her to slowly fall back. He made sure not to fully lay on top of her, and instead stayed leaning against one forearm while his other arm stayed resting on her other side.
"I'm forgiven then?" Alma asked sounding a little breathless, while David remained over her seemingly none the worse for what just happened.
He smiled slowly and leaned his forehead against hers. "You were already."
"You let me believe you were still upset! And for what?" Alma exclaimed and lightly hit him on the shoulder. She wasn't angry, or annoyed at him for leading her on there. She just couldn't believe he'd be so sneaky.
He looked around for a moment before looking back at her with a knowing look. "So something like this could happen."
"How did you even know I'd try and kiss you, hm?" Alma asked while slowly crossing her arms against her chest. Even with the position they were in she could still lay and look stern and serious.
David smirked, "I didn't. But that wouldn't mean I wouldn't have kissed you." He said while brushing hair behind her ear. He kept his hand against her cheek. Alma rested against it and smiled with a slow nod.
David continued to smile, he wasn't going to lie on the matter. Out of all experiences which he had so far in life, kissing Alma was right up there. He liked it, and he would definitely do it more often, Alma still held onto some concepts which he didn't agree with. The way he saw it, they both cared for each other. He freely had no problems to show that. She however seemed a bit more hesitant. David looked down at her, she wasn't looking so stern anymore, a content smile was on her face instead. David tilted her head up by cupping her cheek and kissed her again. He felt her relax, her arms uncrossed and she placed her hands on his shoulders. Trailing her hands up she wove them into his hair.
David leaned down, pressing himself into her slightly, this was the closest they had ever been; and he found himself enjoying it completely. This was definitely something which he would gladly repeat. He pulled away when Alma needed to clearly breathe. He looked over her slightly flushed face and smiled. She blinked with wide eyes and sheepishly smiled up at him. David looked down at her and tilted his head in thought. Leaning down he kissed her along her jaw before dipping down to rest against the crook her neck. She laughed and tried pushing him back but he didn't budge. Her laughter slowly turned to a breathless sigh though and David felt her hands tighten on his shoulders.
He honestly didn't know that he could have such an affect on someone. This was all rather new to him, he was making this up as he went and along and doing what he felt was right. Looking back to her he couldn't help but smile into the kiss which Alma just pulled him into. She fidgeted and held onto him as tightly as she could. She slowly stilled though when she felt his hand trail down her body and come to a stop at her hip, his hand seemed to dare to continue but was suddenly stopped because she reached down to hold onto his wrist.
David looked at her curiously, yet he smirked and brushed his lips against hers, just fleetingly enough that she couldn't respond even if she tried. "I can stop, with one word, you just say it and I will." David continued to smile somewhat smugly down at her. He had never really had such power over anything or anyone before, other than when he decommissioned 6; but this was different, this was positive feelings, and he liked this. From the flustered look on Alma's face, and the fact that she hadn't tried to move him away, he gathered she was liking this too. He lingered close to her and moved his head back when she tried to kiss him. He smiled, while she looked annoyed that he moved away. David's smile turned to one of smug satisfaction, "One word, Alma." He said while feeling her hand loosen on his wrist. David's eyes slowly shut as he leaned down and kissed her, Alma let go and leaned up and into him, she gasped and let out a quiet content whimper from the sudden attention which was being sent her way.

David looked to the sleeping form which was next to him. He slowly managed to get his arm free and stand from the bed. He glanced over his shoulder when she let out a quiet sigh and huddled more into the pillows. He smiled, satisfied that she hadn't woken up. It was technically morning now, and he suspected that Alma wouldn't be too long in waking. Which meant that he had enough time to leave and find something for her to eat, allowing her time to wake on her own and prepare for the day, while maybe also dwelling over what exactly had happened between them.
He was not ignorant to the feeling of pleasure, and similar such things, he just wasn't exactly sure he could have that effect on anyone. He smiled to himself as he placed the forgotten tray down in the kitchen and turned to find something for breakfast. He turned and walked towards a cupboard and took to pulling things out which she could eat.
He soon heard footsteps and turned and looked to Alma. She still remained in her pyjamas. She walked slowly into the room and looked at him guardedly. David tilted his head, "Sleep well?" He asked with a smirk and got an awkward look for it.
"David," she said heavily while walking over and leaning her hands against the counter. "About what happened."
He blinked and moved around to stand beside her. "You can't say you didn't like it. And you can't deny it happening. I gave you the option, you could've asked me to stop; but you didn't. You didn't because you didn't want me to stop, because you enjoyed it." David looked down at her with a simple smile on his face.
Alma looked at him from the corner of her eyes. "That isn't the point."
"Is it not?" He tilted his head curiously to the side with a thoughtful smile on his face. "Then clearly I am mistaken on something."
"Blurred lines, David. We can't-"
"If I may interrupt you, you blurred a line as soon as you kissed me under that mistletoe; sure, I improved what had already happened, but you started it." He leaned down by her side and looked about the kitchen space before looking at her. "You didn't stop me, in fact you seemed rather encouraging."
"Can you not see how that, this was a one off?" Alma asked in a slightly raised voice. David frowned darkly at her. "David, us as it is, is a complicated thing, with or without further intimate actions. Kissing alone is enough let alone anything else."
"You deny your body something that it liked and craved for the sake of keeping face? You're holding onto outlooks and perceptions which mean nothing out here. Who cares? Do you honestly think these people will care?" David asked with a deep frown and glance at her before standing and walking away from her. "See it from my point of view," he turned and looked at her with unwavering eyes. "I am here to follow orders and prompts, and the prompts I got from you resulted in a moment of intimacy which I do not regret, and I do not believe you do either; you do however maybe feel an ounce of embarrassment, which I think is completely normal, is it not? Please, think about it, I followed the signs from you, which is what I am essentially programmed to do, you did not stop me, you did not deter me, you if anything encouraged this all. And wouldn't I be deemed faulty in some way if I did not follow on prompts and feelings?" He turned and looked back to the things that he had gathered for breakfast. Looking over his shoulder, he slowly narrowed his eyes. "Is it so hard to fathom certain things with someone who is not of your species? Do you feel like you've somewhat betrayed your race for going against the norm, and deemed suitable?" He asked curiously while walking back to her. "Just let go of whatever preconceived notions you have concocted in your mind. Sure, I am not going to stand here and deny the fact that perhaps from your perspective, that the act of foreplay with someone other than a human is an odd notion to get your head around; but it happened, and at the end of the day you still didn't stop me, and you still enjoyed it." David said while trailing a hand along the counter and stopping to look down at her.
She didn't reply, she slipped from the stool and just shook her head slowly. "I don't understand this. Everything. One thing has changed to another and then..."
"May I make a suggestion?" David asked, she slowly looked up at him. "Stop thinking so much." He smiled. "Now, breakfast?" He turned and looked back to the forgotten breakfast things.
